Got eyebrow threading done here for $14.70. I'm happy with how it turned out. I was attended to right away even if only one person was working when I came by. It is pricey but the place is clean and it's just easy to stop by after shopping around. They have good service and get the job done. I just wish they had a list out for their customers to see the services they offer and the prices. read more

I'm very sorry at what happened to this place. It used to be in the middle of the mall hallway and it was staffed by the nicest people, especially Deep. The place must have changed ownership when they moved inside the storefront. I don't recognize any of the old staff. The new people severely lack customer service skills. They aren't just unfriendly and unconcerned about you but it goes farther. They are snappy, rude and only concerned with how much you buy in services and very expensive products. The services provided are fast, painful and rough. No concern for the client's comfort or well-being. Very cold and uncaring. I wish I read reviews before I came here. I came to get my upper lip threaded as my usual go-to place wasn't an option for timing. I found 2 people who worked there sitting on the client's chairs hanging out. Right from the get-go, it didn't feel inviting. $11 for upper lip threading is quite pricey compared to other places. It took about 30 seconds to finish and I was not offered any lotion to apply to my lip or anything afterwards. I don't think I will be coming back. Instead I will stick to my usual go-to place. read more

I went here to get a brow shape and tint. I told the technician what I wanted and sat back. She never told me she was going to do threading (I've always had them waxed) and I don't believe I have had such pain having my eyebrows trimmed in my entire life! After that she was tinting myneyebrows and had I not told her to stop and check, I would have had dark brown eyebrows and I'm blonde! Then, she tried to tell me I needed my upper lip don't and I told her I was having nothing done, and that I'd like to pay. When I went to pay, she had already entered a 25% tip. I go here for eyebrow threading and sometimes chin and lip area.I have also tinted my brows two times which is ok.When I was getting my eyebrows tinted .The lady told me "do not open your eyes",I only heard open your eyes.She was kind of a bitch though so maybe she didn't say"don't ".I got dye in my eye and it stung!.I thought maybe I'd go blind til she was like "it will be ok".I give them a horrible rating not because they suck at their services but because they auto generate a 20% tip.They shouldn't do this.The service is ok but to just put in a decent tip that people probably don't notice and accept all the time.Hope dissatisfied people change it to less .I have not given no tip but damn did I want to.It has happened all times I've been(about 5/6). read more

I would not go back. I was expecting to pay $14 for eyebrows but she ended up doing my full face and charging me about $45 without telling me. She kept trying to get me to tint my eyebrows - very annoying. The results were not good. Still hair in spots and my eyebrows were not even. I went here yesterday to get my eyebrows done. Most times when I've been here they have done a decent job but I always have to tell them just to do a cleanup. Yesterday I wanted to get my eyebrows shaped and I have naturally thick really long eyebrows that I just wanted to get a clean up for; however, the lady who did mine totally botched my eyebrows and cut so much hair that there is nothing left to brush up I am very disappointed and will not be coming back. read more

I think the one issue I have with this place are the prices compared to other places. $15 to get your eyebrows threaded... at my go-to place it's $5. However, the service is not bad and they are generally more gentle than other places I've been to. I also don't like that they try to upsell, I was asked if I wanted to get my upper lip waxed, I don't need it waxed! read more

My daughter and I went in for eye brow threading on Friday, August 26th - the day before my other daughters wedding. We each had a different person do the threading and we both had pretty major issues with the service and results. The woman that did my 15 year old daughter suggested she needed her moustache removed because it was getting long. In no way does my daughter even have a moustache ...what a thing to say to a 15 year old! When we got home she also had to fix her brows because they were a bit uneven and had.patchy spots that she did not have before. I have light eye brows and she asked me twice if I wanted them tinted. I am ok with the color and said no both times. I also have naturally thin shaped brows and just wanted to clean up around them. She made them pencil thin and uneven. The one brow is now at least a centimetre shorter from my nose than the other brow. It is very noticeable and requires me to draw it in with a brow pencil. I've never had to do this before! We have both been to this kiosk before with mixed result, but never this bad. We will never go back and want other people to know about our resent experience. I usually get my brows tinted on a Salon near my house but since Im already at Coq Centre and saw this place I was like okay lets give this place a try. I was so disappointed with the result, the brow tint went all over my brows. Turns out the lady just put the tint all over and didn't outlined my brows. After cleaning it off I can still see the tint that surrounds my brows. Will never go back to this place again. read more

TOTALLY RUINED MY BROWS!!! If I have anything to say about it they'll go out of business. These hard sales push push push (as someone else noted) ruined my brows beyond recognition. I was crying as soon as I got outside and had to sit in my car to collect myself. It was shockingly bad. Like going in with long hair for a trim and coming out with a buzz cut. She callously ignored me and destroyed my near perfect eyebrows in seconds and replaced them with crazy ugly brows that look like a child did it. She tinted them dark brown and I'm blonde - no lie. Freak brows now. Part of my outer brow was actually missing... MIS-SING!! And her and her coworkers all stood there saying no it's not missing. MENTAL! I told her not to touch the top... she did - reshaped my lovely natural arch, removing it completely to a flat line. Getto gangster. I told her not to reshape or thin out... she did both after saying she wouldn't... (you liar). She did everything opposite to what I told her. When I was getting a horrible feeling and asked for a mirror, she wouldn't give me one until she was done - I knew right then something was terribly wrong. I also don't have heavy brows that grow back easily. I'm now praying that I can find a product to grow them back. Then she rudely went on about the hair on my lip. I woke up the next day and first look in the mirror near broke me again. Traumatic, it was so bad. Now I'm spending ages trying to fix my dark brown ghetto brows. OMG. What they're doing to ppl, I say this business be closed. Tell everyone you know to stay far away from them! read more

They do an alright job, however they push very very very hard to upsell, even when you say no, which is kind of stressful, arguing with them the entire time you are in the chair "No I don't want colour", "I don't care if you think I need colour, I don't want it", "I like my moustache fine thank you". Please, please don't go to this place for any services. I went there today to have a brow shaping and tint. They quoted me $29 so I want for it. While in the chair the lady asked me if I wanted me my lip done, which I agreed. But I wasn't expecting, or wanted a lower lip/chin threading, which I didn't need and had to pay for. In addition, to my horror, when I arrived home my eye brow sculping was awful. The eye brows were not matched by any stretch of the imagation. I have never complained on line about any service before, but the poor quality of product delivery and the outrageous up scaling of services have compelled me to write this review. I can only hope my eyebrows grow back in to repair the damage. read more
