Before deciding to go with Premier Denture Center, I had consultations with five other dental practices/ denturists. I went with Dr. Castaneda over the other denturists: -because my grandmother had seen him and spoken highly of his work; -the pricing was the second lowest of the five quoted; -Dr.C repeatedly attempted to talk me out of extracting my teeth and the money he would make on the dentures. That was, until he felt my teeth and realized they were loose and I needed to do this. Pro's of going with Premiere Denture Center: -Premier Denture accepts all insurance. -The teeth Dr. Castaneda made for me were affordable and Hollywood-actress-beautiful. My immediate dentures looked even better then the $30,000 veneers I had put in a little over eight years ago. -Premier Denture is the cleanest dental office I have ever been to; furnishings are well-appointed and tasteful. -Dr. Castaneda truly knows everything about your teeth with regards to dentures and will patiently and professionally answer all questions you may have without becoming the least bit annoyed or in any rush. -There is absolutely no judgement or anyone making you feel anything but wonderful and professionally cared for! Terrible, they don't follow up when they need more information. I was told it would be a long wait to be approved by insurance for partial dentures, so I submitted what they asked for and waited. Turns out the entire time I was waiting, they actually never submitted my information and instead needed more information from me, but never told me. So I waited over 10 months and had to give the same information again just for the exact same issue to happen twice, but this time I followed up sooner, gave the missing information to wait even longer just to find out they were still missing info, so I have to redo the entire process?? I was disappointed in my care for several reasons. I'll address the ones that really bothered me. Got me in pretty quick. I really appreciated this. I was in the chair, handed denture for repair over, was quoted $450. for 2 minor repairs and $400 for 1 tooth replacement and out the front door in about 10 minutes. I returned later in the day to retrieve my dentures. They were in a hurry to close so Herman (the dentist) tells me he is so proud of how the teeth match and gives them to me and is trying to get me to leave and i have to ask him to adjust them for me. He again returns them to me and I leave. I'm pretty irritated at my treatment. But things get worse. When i start running my tongue over my teeth I am stunned at what a terrible job Herman did on my denture. Three of my front teeth are bonded together. There is no shape to them just a flat surface. The surfaces of all my repairs are rough and abrasive. I have worn dentures for years and know that no care was given to smoothing and buffing my denture. Look, I know we get what we pay for. But for $850 I expected more than I got. But honestly, this is just wrong. read more

The worst treatment I ever had! I was told I had to have new partials made on 3/8/23 appt and would need to bring xray copies etc from my dentist which I did on 3/15 and told it would be sent to my insurance to authorize. Well after numerous calls to check status I called my insurance carrier on 5/3/23 and was told they never received any request so I called Premier Dental back and spoke to Ashley who didn't come right out and say she never sent anything to my insurance but said she would put a rush on the request and send it and call her back the following Moday which I did but this time I was told she would check the insurance portal and get back to me so after calling me back and not able to tell me anything I indicated how much I really needed this and her attitude then changed to being degrading g by telling me they were one of only three offices who took my state insurance so in other words I should be grateful for anything they were doing to which I replied yes I was beginning to understand anybody with state insurance can figure everything is going to be longer which then she asked what I meant by that because I was lucky she checked the portal because they normally don't do that so I just needed to call back next week. So after realizing nothing had been done in the almost 2 months since I had given them all they asked for and was only sent after I called to follow up I got mad and called to talk to Dr Castaneda whose attitude was pretty much the same and there was nothing he could do about the past and I just had to wait for it to go through the process never mind that it was their office who delayed the process almost 2 months...so anyone who is seen by this dentist and has state insurance I would urge you to keep following up they are doing ther job! read more

First class experience all the way. We were in town to visit relatives and a clasp broke on my Dad's metal upper denture. We thought it was going to be quite a disaster to replace because his dentures took months to make last time. Well, we did a random search on Google for denture repair and stumbled upon Premier Denture Center which was close by. We lucked out! Dr. Casteneda was very patient (as everyone has already mentioned) and was thoughtful/mindful of my dad's physical limitations (as a result of a recent stroke) when designing the replacement dentures. First, my dad had to get 2 of his front teeth extracted because they were very loose after a recent car accident (when it rains it pours). Furthermore, we had a very tight turnaround time because we are from the SF Bay Area and only had about 2 weeks to get it done. Dr. Casteneda was super clutch in giving us the referral to have the teeth extracted by Dr. Rutherford (down the hall), then Dr. C saw my dad immediately after the extraction in order to do the denture impression, and finally, he put a rush into the lab to fast track the dentures in time for us to give them a try for a couple of days before we flew home. LONG story short (TLDR), don't delay any longer, go here and get your new dentures. You'll be so glad you did. We are happy customers and my dad can now enjoy eating real food again. read more

I went in there this afternoon to see, ( I can't remember his last name honestly but it started with a C, it's on the door when you come in. So we are going to say Dr.C from here on in :) ), today for a consultation about my dentures. I had them made 2 years ago from another office that had since been sold and had been referred to this office from them because they took my insurance (Provider One). He immediately identified the problems I was having with my dentures. (They fit horribly. Literally they wouldn't stay in my face). And he was able to fix them so that now they fit perfectly. They fit better then they EVER have and are more comfortable then they have ever been. He also gave me a referral to dentist in the area that also took my insurance. He gave me tips for good oral health and took lots of time to explain everything to me and answer all the questions I had about everything from my teeth to my insurance. Fair warning. It's a small office, and they seemed fairly busy. So I had to wait about 25ish minutes past my booked "appointment time" to be called back. But I think there was also a bit of confusion with my scheduling AND I was a new patient. So. That could totally have been a glitch in the system day. Overall I give this place 5 stars, I don't like dentists. But I like this one. :) read more

I have to say that I came to the very best place possible, to get dentures. Dr. Castaneda is the nicest, and most professional dentist I've ever met. He went over and above helping me to get my dentures before my sons wedding. And they couldn't possibly look any better then they do. I love them. And they took care of all the paper work. I went to this dental office in Aug. 2018 for new dentures. I had an approval from my insurance through another provider and wanted one closer to my home so I wanted it transferred to them. They knew I was on a time constraint. They said they would send the transfer paperwork in to authorize them to do the work and this not only did not get done right away, it took me calling them over 2 weeks later to check on the status to find out it hadn't been sent. To this day, they still have not called me. I eventually went elsewhere. Don't go to this office....their front staff is totally unprofessional and unorganized. read more

Herman Castaneda asked me several times to write a good review for him on Yelp. Unfortunately, I can't do that right now. The dentures look nice, but I have been in unbelievable pain for the last seven weeks since I got my new dentures and it has been hell trying to get an appointment to get in for adjustments. Right now, the dentures are cutting in to the back of my tongue, causing severe pain through my tongue and throat. I called to get in to see him and the soonest he can see me is in three weeks! I am in tears! He is nice enough when I see him, but having to wait so long to get in to see him is ridiculous. I've been in to see him at least five times and I leave unsatisfied most of those times. He puts them in, saying, "You shouldn't have anymore problems now," and I know right away that they aren't going to work but I don't feel like I should be bothering him anymore. If a denturist is going to fit you with new dentures, he should make the time to make sure the dentures are fitting correctly and not causing you immeasurable pain. read more
