After aimlessly walking around my house for 2 hours they ended up replacing one fuse and told me they couldn't do the other 3 jobs. They then charged $516 for replacing the fuse. Stay clear of these people. They sent two workers who appeared to be kids right out of trade school. Clueless and just quoted price out of a binder. They spent the rest of the time trying to sell me a replacement electric panel for $10,000. The worst experience I have ever had with a contractor! P.S. I asked for an invoice and they refused to provide one.

I gave him 10days to call and nothing. I called him and he never returned my call. I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog. I called the building inspector today and he hasn't even spoke with them or started to pull permit. I have never been treated so poorly by any company. Don't use this electric company. You will be played with for months and get nowhere. The Money was available for service and nothing. I am so very thankful I didn't Give him a Dime. Thank god!!!

The initial inspector completely missed active knob and tube on the first floor--even writing "No active knob and tube seen" in the first floor notes section--and failed to report ungrounded fabric wiring. Though promised an estimate the next day, I received zero communication until I followed up 8 days later. Due to the missed hazards, they sent a senior technician. He also missed the ungrounded fabric wiring until I insisted he physically pull an outlet from the wall. This process lasted from late May into July. I never received a second inspection report, only another estimate. When I raised these safety and communication concerns, management took zero accountability. The financial controller only defended the initial 8-day delay, and the vice president deflected blame onto me and onto their own employee. I cannot recommend a company that misses critical safety hazards and responds with defensiveness.

It was a relief to find F & S Electric who was more than capable of emailing me a price and also telling me if I wanted to save money I could shop around and buy my own detectors instead of buying the brand they had in stock. So that is what I did. I was given a day and time for installation without a long wait. The electrician showed up exactly on time. This was not an easy project--once the old wiring started coming out, they uncovered a number of unexpected issues that needed to be traced and resolved. At no point did Louie and his partner, Elijah, cut corners or rush to finish. Louie methodically tested everything, tracked down every issue, and made sure every light, outlet, and switch was working before considering the job complete. He also completely replaced my old electrical panel. The difference is incredible. Everything is clean, organized, and meticulously done. He even took the time to clearly label every breaker, something my old panel never had. It may seem like a small detail, but it's the kind of thing that shows how much he cares about doing the job right. What impressed me most was how much pride Louie takes in his work. He treated my home with care, explained what he was doing whenever I had questions, and genuinely wanted everything to be right--not just "good enough." We just moved into the house which is 30 years old and we needed to make sure we weren't overloading anything. My husband has a bunch of 'devices' that need power. Owner Chris Marchetti was great, coming out the next day, giving us a really good professional evalution and a reasonale quote for the big job. When the guys, Randy and Jimmy, came out to do the work, they were awesome. Polite, efficient, and kept us informed every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves, wore masks and practiced safe distancing. We made a few changes to what we wanted installed and they handled them within the scope of the work. There were no suprise charges which was a concern after a bad experience elsewhere. Great job Kelco!

The initial call was very painless, and their availability was better than anybody else I called. Their pricing was high, but you pay a price for convenience and my time table was short, so I accepted that. They also showed up within their time window which was appreciated. The work was done well for the most part. Where it fell a bit short was that they left small pieces of wire and insulation all over the house. I'm still finding it today. Also, the technician left a tool of his at my house during the job. He called me once and I said I would keep an eye out for it. He then proceeded to keep calling my personal cell multiple times to keep asking if I had found it. This was in the middle of when we were trying to move. Also, the tool he lost? Maybe $10 at Lowe's. Am I happy with the work for the most part? Yes. Will I ever call them again? No. For what they charge, they should have been better about the details. I paid $90 per GFCI outlet to put it in perspective.
