I used to come here back when it was Montclair Radiology and the location is super convenient for me, but this is the last time I'll be coming here after repeated poor experiences. First, online scheduling. I must have uploaded my information 6 times -- they keep asking you to upload your personal documents repeatedly. Arrived there 15 mins ahead of appointment time as requested. Had to register once, they took my personal identification from me, then got called to a desk and STILL had to fill out additional paperwork. No one communicates with you about what's happening -- other patients waiting explained to me, oh, they're taking your ID and then you'll be called up to the desk. Waited 45 mins. after my appointment, so total of an hour from their requested arrival time. This was an appointment early in the morning too. The waiting room was already full of people with few seats by time I was called. Routine mammogram, was fine for what it was. In and out in 10 minutes. The whole process of making you wait foreever, making you give documents repeatedly, and poor communication throughout makes you feel like livestock, not a human. Nevermind them charging you extra for AI-aided exams. It's a personnel savings for them, but because insurance companies don't cover AI exam reading yet, they pass along the cost to the customer. Poor move and no, did not opt for this. Told me results would be posted to my portal in 24-48 hours. Going on day 5 here and no results yet. Tried calling and you cannot reach a human. They make you leave a message to get a call back. Records aren't reflected on my doctor's portal either so I have no way to learn about my results. Lovely way to add stress to my week. I live so close to this location, in fact, that I know they are not good neighbors to the people who live in surrounding properties in a residential neighborhood. Their employees have nowhere to park so they park too close to driveways which creates blindspots pulling into traffic. They extended their hours much later than the former owners and there are delivery trucks, landscaping, snow removal people who literally show up with loud trucks in the middle of the night. Have had several similar experiences in the past with waits, not being able to reach anyone over the phone, etc. Continued to come for the convenience of the location, but never, ever, ever again will I return.

From the moment you check in, you are treated kindly and as though you are a person- not a client. The team is thorough and compassionate and walk you through the entire process. The team member who did my mammogram was gentle and cheers you on the entire time "almost done, doing great, almost done!" I had the slightest wait afterwards to be in seen by the PA and the staff member who brought me into my examine room apologized for the wait, but also informed me that the results look great and the doctor would just be a few more minutes...this may sound small, but waiting for the results is stressful and it put me at ease. The PA, Kruti McDonald was absolutely WONDERFUL. She spent time listening and talking to me and didn't rush at all. She was thorough, knowledgeable and TOOK HER TIME-- again, made me feel as though I mattered, my concerns mattered and that she honestly cared. I really can't recommend MBC enough.

How is it possible that a supervisor could tell me she is looking a "live" screen showing that I did not satisfy my $900 deductible and at the same time she could NOT access my payments' history I made to them within less than a month ago in a total amount of over $783. Instead she asked me to call my insurance company and get a reference number. Is she for real? I ended up telling her to cancel my appointment and walked out of there never to go back. Then I laid waiting in the bed until 945 . They took me in for the epidural injections which took about 25 minutes, 15 minutes in recovery dressed and out door. So 3 hours for something that takes about 1 hour total time. But the place is very clean with a friendly staff.

From start to finish, scheduling your appointment by phone or online (appointment times are very accommodating Weekdays, Weekends and on Saturdays), friendly intake reception, qualified technicians performing your scripted procedures and medical diagnoses by their excellent radiologists are all done in a respectful and timely manner. If you want a copy of your medical report, just let them know at check in and they will send you a generic copy. The facility is very clean. Customer service questionnaires are available in the waiting room. A coffee machine, WIFI and TVs are in the first and second floor waiting rooms. Yummy biscotti is available in the waiting rooms :-) The montclairradiology.com website can give you lots of information along with how to prepare for a procedure. There is an answering machine for every department they transfer you to. I will be filing a report with the American Medical Association because I am sick of it. They will change this or they will close down. Either way I will get to the bottom of it. The place is always so crowded, its dirty, it smells. I will never go back there. They need more staff - the phones ring off the hook. They take 5 days to get results and email them to you. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
