Boris came to inspect the units and perform his own analysis. He quickly realized that what was really needed was a deep cleaning of the units not a leak test. He saved us a lot of money with his honest assessment. He was so professional and steered us in the right direction. His honesty was so appreciated. Quality of the service call was fine. No knock on the subcontractor being used, I thought he was professional and handled the job well. Costs are probably on the more expensive end given the subcontracting model though. My issue is with the rudeness of the project management staff, in particular Boris. The service call was 3 hours late and ran at least an hour longer than expected, which happens - I get it. I asked if they could offer some kind of discount to compensate for the inconvenience since it made us late for other engagements that had to be cancelled for fees. But instead I got a rude email scolding me as if I would dare to even ask. They could have just said, "Unfortunately we aren't offering discounts at this time, apologies." Small things in communication make a difference. I won't be using this company in the future and don't recommend them. There are plenty of shops out there who probably subcontract out to the same folks who do the actual hard work that we as customers appreciate. read more

I highly recommend using Premier HVAC if you ever have any issue with heating or cooling. They are quick, highly knowledgeable, and very professional. The price is right, too. We got home from a trip on Saturday night, January 2, and our furnace wasn't working. Hardly anyone who does this type of work is open on Sundays, but I luckily found Premier HVAC and called first thing Sunday morning. Not only did Boris diagnose the issue right away, but he identified other issues which had been preventing our place from ever feeling warm enough. I thought the place was poorly insulated, but it was the poorly installed furnace. Once Boris implemented the solution, it was like we got a new furnace. BEWARE!!!!!!! I should've taken the negative reviews on here seriously but thought I'd give them a try since I was in need of heater repair. My heater went cold overnight and needed fixing. Boris came over and charged an arm and a leg just for diagnosis. Then turns out he "didn't bring the right tools" and would need to return again. Returning for a second visit cost another ridiculous amount and yet he still couldn't fix it. HE LIED and said it would require another visit with multiple other technicians in order to fix the problem. Long story short, THEY MILKED ME FOR ALL THE HOURS AND MULTIPLE PEOPLE THAT CAME. THEY GAVE A FAKE DIAGNOSIS IN ORDER TO PRETEND TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 10x THE WHOLESALE COST OF PARTS! After I was done with his horrendous ordeal I hired another HVAC tech from another company to review their work because I was suspicious of their work. That's how I found out they were defrauding me of work done and ridiculously overcharge me for everything!!! I called premier cleaning after a roof replacement in a brownstone in brooklyn caused dirt and debris to be blown into the house from the hvac unit on the roof. Last minute on a Saturday I searched yelp for the highest rated hvac and duct cleaning company, and found premier cleaning. Not only did they give me a quote over the phone, but they scheduled the emergency cleaning for the very next day. Boris was the main point of contact, and was very professional knowledgeable and most importantly helpful in skillfully scheduling the last minute service to accommodate the emergency situation. When the guys arrived, the project was completed in 1 day, and the entire hvac duct system was cleaned throughout the entire house. I unfortunately can't say anything positive about my HVAC maintenance experience. My first experience, after them rescheduling at the last minute two times, resulted in a drip pan that no longer drained (never a problem until immediately after they serviced it). Unfortunately, I was leaving town that day for several weeks and the summer ended, so I did not have a chance to get them to repair. Then, COVID hit, and I was out of town not needing service. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I scheduled a visit. Ten minutes before the appointment window ended, they called to say they would not be coming (not sure why they didn't know that prior to the very end of the three hour window). I nonetheless rescheduled for a few days ago, only to have them completely no-show (no call; nothing). When I called and left a voicemail, I later (4 hours later) received a call from an HVAC tech, who said he was only calling because they told him he had to and informed me that they had never included me on his schedule (he then went on a rant to explain he and his company were arguing over whether I was supposed to be on someone's schedule that day). I asked him to simply have the office call me and explain/reschedule....I have heard nothing since. Short story - If you want someone who won't cancel repeatedly, will return calls and will actually do a good job, go elsewhere. PS - I'm sure they will come up with some witty comeback response, as they try to do with every review. I think that says something when they'll never admit to an issue...we all make mistakes; it is how you address them that makes a business great. read more

Make sure you document and record any conversation you have with these people. They are shady! Same story as all the other one star reviews. I asked for a quote to install a smart thermostat and they said that the service call is $149.00. They sent a technician over around 4pm and he didn't seem to know what he was doing even though they said the technician would be familiar with this model. He calls another technician to come and both are unable to resolve the issue. Its nearly 8pm, when the say they are going home and will be back tomorrow to finish the job. They said to call Boris the boss and schedule an appointment for tomorrow. I call Boris to schedule a follow up appointment and he said that tonight's bill will be 600$ (150$/hour). When I told him the quote was $150 for the full installation he insisted that he had a recording stating that was just for the hourly fee. I requested he send me the recording. He was unable to fabricate any such recording. I felt bad for the two technicians because they were respectful and tried, so I tipped them both 20$. But no way in hell was I paying 600$ for an uninstalled thermostat when most places I quoted were 200$ for the whole process and I would have working heat by now! After 20 minutes of arguing with Boris on the phone he finally told his technician to leave it and told me never to call him back. read more

Having called them, they were responsive and showed up to do a service call on hvac not supplying any heat. Long story short, they spent hours upon hours trying to diagnose a problem that was never remedied. They charged my credit card close to 3,000. For their service fees. They recommended I replace the unit/ condensers if their "service call" of vacuuming and cleaning the unit didn't work. I am appalled that they charged me thousands to diagnose and not fix a single thing, and I'm still in the same boat. Absolutely insane. I never write a review but felt it necessary for this incident. They repaired all the chimney bricks professionally to make way for the new fireplace in our living room. They were also able to clean our chimney very throughly for the colder weather to come. I had called for an appointment and they were available the next day which was great. I was told upfront that there was a $195.00 service fee which is fair. I then specifically asked if they perform the work/service if that fee is deducted and I was told yes. I proceeded to make the appointment and the next day the service rep arrived on time and was polite. Service took exactly one hour during which he explained I may have a leak and it looked like I need refrigerant which he added. I was given an itemized bill at the end for $865 dollars. They explained I may have a leak and the process to find the leak would be another $1600 which did not include the repair! So almost $2465 they could tell me what my problem might be. I was charged for two hours of labor and the $195 service fee. A hefty $865 dollars to add refrigerant to my AC. I had previously written a review but after speaking to someone at the company who agreed to refund me some money that day I agreed to take it down. But I am yet to receive that check. Because they did not follow through with their word again I'm sharing my experience. I understand the weigh of reviews for a company but I feel as though I was completely ripped off. $865 is a lot of money for someone to add refrigerant and still have an AC which is not repaired. Super friendly and professional! They were able to get someone to clean my dryer ducts within hours of me calling!! (I really needed my dryer working again, and most places I called couldn't fit me in for days, some even up to a week). I thought their price was reasonable compared to other quotes I received. The gentleman who came to clean out my very clogged dryer duct even asked if he should put something over his shoes when he entered my house. If you're looking to try to (key word try) get rich the quick and sleazy way, maybe you should join this company. If they were the last company on earth during a winter my advice: take that money and buy space heaters and blankets and just ride out the winter. Long story short, replacing a small unit on a boiler which didn't even take an hour they charged over their service fee and later it failed. Highly recommended. Probably not the cheapest company you can find, but they are knowledgable and quickly diagnosed the problem we were having with our air conditioners. They then quickly came up with a short term solution before being able to fix it permanently. The permanent fix was done professionally. Having been around the block with lots of HVAC companies in Brooklyn, I finally found a company that really has a passion for this line of work and gets the job done right. I hired them to replace an air handler that had sprung a refrigerant leak. It was a tough job involving lots of duct work in a ridiculously tight space but they stuck it out and got it done right. Their technicians are meticulous, knowledgeable and friendly. An added bonus is they have an in-house carpenter who did all the ceiling work repairs and re-painting to make the house look better than it did before the install. I have never heard of an HVAC company that had that feature as part of their service and it made a real difference. Can't say enough good stuff about this team. read more

Unfortunately Borris and this company was a big mistake. We had several large, expensive, AC window units which Borris said he would pick-up, clean, store for the winter and re-install. We paid him upfront and when it came time to have them re-installed this April he tried to ask us for another $3000, saying he mis-calculated costs. I felt like our units were being Hijacked. When they came to re-install them the ac's were filthy and banged up. Also one was missing a piece. His "technicians" were nice but came 2 hours late and did not install them properly. Honestly I think all these other reviews are friends/family. Please don't take peoples property and mess it up and ask for more money. This is not professional. read more

The workers seemed to be earnest and polite when they arrived. After they left, I found a few ducts uncleaned. Our A/C stopped working a few days afterwards. I called their office trying to find out if the workers did something or noticed anything out of the ordinary. Boris picked up the phone and was completely unprofessional and rude. Before long, he started making remarks that were personal attacks! He said his manager was not in the office to talk to me. It's apparently a lie cause he is the business owner! It was the worst experience I have ever had with any service company. In the end the A/C company came out and told me it was due to the dust on the filter. Apparently they did not even clean the dust off the filter. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Not only a total waste of money, but also emotionally aggravating. read more
