They had competitive pricing and provided high quality work and are the highest level diamond Mitsubishi certified which gave me a 12 year warranty. From the beginning Boris was very knowledgeable about sizing the system and when the team arrived they covered any furniture and floors and were friendly. They had great attention to detail, used high quality materials, made sure all holes in the house were properly sealed, and worked with me through the entire process to ensure i was satisfied with placement of the units and heads. They even made an adjustment after the fact at no extra charge, going above an beyond to deliver a great install. They took care of submitting all the warranties as well. If you are looking for professional, reliable service - they are your source. Especially when your Central Air system decides to die in the middle of heat wave. Their dispatcher was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Technicians came all prepared (considering that my freaon type is not common one), serviced my unit, explained what options I have and gave me advice for future. Premier is A-1. The installation of our Mini Split Dual Zone AC/heat pump was very professional and thorough. There was quite a lot of construction, drilling, dust, and dirt, but they put everything back together seamlessly-- walls were in perfect condition after having been cut into for the install. These systems are incredibly complicated but Premier's electrical, plumbing, and plastering work was carefully and professionally done--every one of their contractors was a consummate professional. Our entire AC system stopped working during the hottest part of the summer this year. We spoke to several specialist before deciding to go with Premier HVAC. The team is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain what caused the issues, and provided us with several options to address the issues, all at competitive prices. The team was very clean and respectful of our home while they opened the ceilings to replace the duct systems (e.g., came with shoe covers and gloves). And despite the higher end finishes of our home, the carpentry work that they performed blends in perfectly. One star is too much! I had a horrendous experience with Boris at premier hvac. He is clearly a scam artist who has no integrity and acts as if he is doing you a favor (for a huge fee). Not only was he rude and disrespectful, but also overcharged without fixing the actual issue. premier became unresponsive after I raised my concerns. The entire experience was a nightmare. I read some of the reviews below and they state that the company provides discount if one star reviews are increased above a 3. My central AC system broke down and the Premier HVAC team came in for a consultation. They did a great job explaining the short and long-term costs and benefits of all my options and we ended up choosing a system from a different brand that does heating as well and works much better than what I had before. Initially, there was some confusion about timing and how long the project would take but Boris immediately jumped on the phone with me (even though he was on vacation) to get me the answers I needed and was always available to speak with me on a moment's notice. Slava, Oleg, and Renee were the boots on the ground and were so wonderful to work with - they showed up on time, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. I really appreciated how consistently professional, respectful, efficient and friendly everyone was. I asked a million questions and they didn't mind explaining everything they were doing so I could follow along. They also told me some things to look out for, how to optimize the life and use of my system, and questions to ask/red flags to look out for if I work with other HVAC companies in the future. Called these guys to take a look at my Mitsubishi ductless system last week. Maria answered the call and took all my information. Maria was very personable and worked around my hectic work schedule. On the day of the appointment the team arrived one hour late but that wasn't too much of a problem because I had a open window of time. The team that arrived was professional and courteous. One tech was Ukrainian and the other was Russian so we had a nice chat. They seemed to be good friends and very knowledgeable. Vlad the lead tech found a problem with our condenser motor and board. They made sure to verify all their work by reaching out to technical support which was a nice touch. The follow up visit was scheduled 2 days later. I wasn't able to be home during the repair but everything went well and our system is back to cooling which is great! I will be reviewing a maintenance agreement from premier hvac. Hopefully I don't have to see these guys too soon :) read more

I am a property manager with dozens of AC systems. I had a problem with a Fujitsu dual zone system in a new building. One zone worked fine, the other was intermittent. I called my regular service companies but they didn't do Fujitsu so I called the manufacturer to get the name of a service contractor. Premier HVAC Services was given to me. I called, a tech came out, said it was overpressure because of a blockage and the system needed to be drained and recharged for $1,700 which I declined. Premier charged $430 for the visit which is twice what a service call goes for in my area. Based on my decades of experience I called someone else for a second opinion. They came out, said the pressure was LOW, not high, and added a little refrigerant for a total of $400. It's been working fine for the two weeks. I called Premier and they (George) said adding refrigerant may solve the problem but their solution would be better. The on site tech didn't say there were two options, the only one was to drain and recharge. This was not a professional response that I expected from a Fujitsu endorsed company. It sure looks to me as an up sale scam. Beware! *** After I posted the previous review on Yelp! they called to ask me to increase their rating. After some discussion they agreed to refund the service charge if I raised their rating from one star to three stars. read more

One star for same day on time as promised, beyond that unscrupulous billing practices. $195 service fee is fair but is not applied towards your repair total if you agree to the service ( the standard for most repairs I've had in the past ). Several add on inflated fees once you've agreed to the repair, even tried to bully me that our working second unit required deep cleaning (quoted $495). Technician said he was doing me a favor ( last time I checked favors are free I'm paying for your time ) Generally have had good luck with Yelp reviews but this one cost me. AC did get repaired but a knowledgeable and honest HVAC person could have diagnosed and repaired it quicker and for less. Won't be using Premier again. read more

I wish I could give less than 1. Save yourself time and money and don't hire this company. They do not stand by their work, they lie and are unresponsive to us, our bldg management co, and our insurance co who all contacted them to work out what they did wrong. They worked on our HVAC this past August. They did not replace the unit properly into the closet which compromised 2 main pipes connected to our hot water heater which burst and created a flood. They did not replace the blower with the correct model which burned out the entire control panel as well as the blower breaking. They have cost us almost 10K to fix what they have broken. This has been a devastating blow for us financially and their lack of professionalism and honesty is deplorable. Update: Boris finally called us back after months of trying to reach him. He said he didn't respond to anyone bc he didn't like my initial email detailing the problems we were facing. He said he takes no responsibility for the work and said we are all lying about everything. So incredibly unprofessional as he yelled at me through the entire call. read more

We were pretty disappointed when our ac broke only a month after moving in. With a heat wave coming, we called a bunch of HVAC companies in the area. Most quickly said they didn't have time (although one offered an opening in the fall). I called premier and left a message with their service. Within minutes, Boris called me. He asked for some details and offered a same day appointment. The technician showed up on time. He was friendly and diagnosed our issue quickly. We didn't have an access panel to access our hvac unit's pump, but he was able to cut a hole in our ceiling to get to it (that we'll turn into an access panel for the future) and deal with the pump and overflowing protection pan. While the technician was there, I asked about smart thermostat options for our HVAC system, which isn't Nest compatible. Others in our building had asked other HVAC companies about smart thermostat options and were told it wasn't possible, but the technician said that it is indeed possible with particular models designed for our HVAC unit (he mentioned the brand and I looked it up - it seems legit and not just something made up to string the customer along). He took down our model info and shared it with Boris, who's now checking the specific options for our unit. I don't have a baseline to know if their service is expensive or not. It might be on the higher end because I believe the technician was a subcontractor and everyone needs to get their cut, but the ability to get a same day appointment and resolution to our problem, along with someone who understood the possibilities for our specific unit, merits the five stars. Now... if they can figure out the smart thermostat situation and install it... I'll be over the moon. Keeping my crossed! Our Boiler stopped working over the weekend, I called many companies (12 to be exact), neither one of these companies had any appointments available before mid-December. My wife called Premier Services on Tuesday and within minutes Boris set us up with an appointment on Wednesday. Thank you Boris. On Wednesday, Slava and his apprentice arrived 30 min earlier. They were fully Covid-compliant (in masks). They easily identified the problem and quickly replaced broken parts. Checked everything twice, turned boiler on and it started to work without any issues. I reached out to Primer to perform an end to end check up of our furnace and get a quote on A/C install in our new home in Brooklyn. Boris and his team were extremely professional and offered a multitude options for updating out heating and installing A/C. Each option was clearly outlined with planned work and pricing. During the recent NYC heatwave our AC's compressor went out and I was having difficulty finding anyone that was rated highly on Yelp to do the work. When I contacted Premier they were professional and agreed to make time for the repair with their already busy schedule if we could be flexible on meeting the appointment. The technician was able to come out the next day and replace the compressor and get the air back up and running. He was very friendly and told me about the work he was going to be doing and sent me a lot of pictures to basically document all that he had done since I wasn't able to be there in person. DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS. I scheduled an appointment to fix a leaking AC system. They were due to come between 10-2. They didn't show up and called at 6pm to say they'd been busy and could they come now. I explained now was not convenient and agreed to reschedule for later in the week. The rescheduled appointment was between 1-4pm. They showed up at 5:30pm, took one look and said they didn't have time to do the job and would have to come back another time. They proceeded to charge me a $250 call out fee and said the follow up appointment would be an additional $750. When I tried to schedule a follow up appointment they said they were busy for the next 4 months! Incredibly unprofessional and shockingly unreliable. This is the second time premier has saved me in an emergency. The first was in the middle of winter when my furnace shut down late in the evening, and they were here in an hour getting it back up and running in record time. Today my ac went out and once again they came through (on a Saturday!) and right away diagnosed and repaired the problem. It's already cooling off, from the toasty 80 degrees it was previously in my living room. I own a good amount of valuable exotic pets, who have very specific temperature requirements, and it's not an exaggeration to say that they literally saved their lives in both of these extreme temperature conditions. Whoever connected the thermostat in our condo before we bought it in July did a very poor job. With cold weather on the way, I decided to test the heat a few days ago and discovered our furnace and blower would not shut off when the set temperature was reached.
