We locked ourselves out of our car and Elliot (who picked up the phone) gave us a detailed quote and answered all our questions for a bunch of different scenarios. But like all the other reviews, the real great thing about this guy is their prompt service. I expected to wait at least a few hours but Elliot told me he could have someone be there within 1 hour. 30 minutes later, Elliot himself called and had arrived to help us get into our car. my keys were either lost or stolen on christmas night, which was a saturday. on sunday, i called premier locksmith to rekey the locks. the chap i spoke to said he'd be glad to come out that day (sunday), but if i could wait until monday, the cost would be significantly less. i asked what the difference was, and agreed with him that monday would be kinder to the budget. he said someone would be here at 9. now, this is going to seem incredible, almost unbelievable, but the next morning, someone was here at 9. lucas was not only prompt, he was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. also a nice guy, easy to talk to and not intimidating. the cost of the job was reasonable, and they knocked $20 off because of mentioning yelp. i hope you don't need a locksmith. if you do, use these guys. read more

Can I give NO stars? Elliott was rude, accusatory and plainly the most confrontational vendor I have ever had the displeasure of talking with. His staff person Matt did a great job - and I actually asked him "How can you work for Elliott?" We required locksmith service to get into my brothers; apt. - where he was discovered to have passed away. When we contacted Premier to meet us again, to replace the lock and make new keys (under extraordinary circumstances) Elliott was incredibly rude and augmentative. Supremely professional and prompt. Elliot knows his stuff. Not only did he take on a job that no one else in the city would touch, he completed it in 10 minutes and left me with a fully functional copy of my lost motorcycle key basically doing the entire job by feeling. I had driven back from So Cal and found the apartment keys had fallen out somewhere. Premier Locksmith was contacted and Matt arrived within half an hour. He was having difficulties with unlocking the door but he dogmatically kept at it. We eventually decided on drilling out the lock and I was in my apartment in minutes. But here's the clincher, because he felt bad about taking so long to getting the door open, he didn't even charge me for the labor of drilling out the lock. I mean, who does that anymore. Lost my only key to my motorcycle. Spent lots of time online trying to figure out best re-course. Very few locksmiths work on motorcycle keys. I thought I would have to take the ignition out myself which is no small task and bring it to a locksmith to make a new key. Also as a daily rider, going without my motorcycle for several days would have been a major pain. Luckily I found Premier Locksmith on Yelp. Called them at 930am, spoke with Elliot who was out at my house by 10:30am and done by 11am. Professional, confident, knowledgeable. Can't beat it! Only downside was the cost $175. It would have been less than half if I'd taken the ignition or bike to their shop but speed and convenience were more important than cost. Of course it would have helped if I'd remembered to use the $20 Yelp coupon. Nice work Premier!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Premier Locksmith. My car's ignition was jammed and therefore, I couldn't start it to bring it into the repair shop. I called a towing company that said they couldn't pull it out of my narrow driveway. My auto repair shop (a very reputable dealer shop) said that I would have to call another tow company with a special piece of equipment that can haul a car out of a narrow driveway and then have the car towed to the repair shop. I called Elliot and he said he was fairly certain he could fix it in my driveway. He came out to look at the car and gave me a fixed quote. I checked back with my auto repair shop to see if this was possible, and they said it would be highly unlikely that someone could fix it in the driveway. That said, the auto repair shop didn't have the ignition cylinder part stocked and there would be up to a week's wait on top of the cost of the expensive, specialized towing (and car rental). Elliot keeps dealer ignition parts in stock and fixed my car the next morning in my driveway. On top of that, he knew that I could get a partial reimbursement from my auto towing insurance as it was an emergency lock issue and told me to inquire about it with my insurance co. read more

I called Elliot the owner the first time years ago and he appears within 15 minutes of the call to unlock a car that no other locksmith would touch(high end) and have used Premiere now over the last 4 years from every house, car and boat lock problem/need my family has encountered. If I could give 10 stars Premiere Locksmith would get my vote which does not come easily.....by far the only locksmith dude you'd ever want to deal with. Called premier lock at 10:30am to change a deadbolt at my condo. They requested pictures, I sent them immediately. Matt said he would call me back in 30 minutes to 1 hour. They didn't return my call so I called them at 11:30am. Again they promised a call back to schedule to come out today. Now it's 3pm and they just told me they can't make it maybe tomorrow or Friday. I'm sure they are busy but not very professional. Would not recommend unless you want the run around. Quickly after the business owner realized I had a bad experience he called me and let me know Matt would be right over to fix the lock. I found Elliott of Premier Locksmith today on my iPhone. I had lost the key to the seat compartment on my scooter (a vespa) and so I could not put gas in the scooter. I called around but not every locksmith does scooters. Elliot quoted a price, got me into the seat compartment really fast, then he offered to rekey the lock so that instead of using a separate key for the seat compartment (which is dumb in the first place, I know) I could use the ignition key. He did not charge extra for that. Nice guy. His truck is painted with his logo and is not an old, rusty, rickety ride. He's the real thing. I recommend him. read more

these guys really came through for me in a big way. a few days before the kraft fight hunger bowl, my car was locked in because the parking lot management decided at the last minute that they would lock up the lot but failed to properly notify the parking pass holders. i didn't realize this until i had already driven my car up to the exit gate to find it closed and locked. when i got out of the car to take a closer look, my car door decided to lock itself behind me... so there i was stuck with my phone and purse inside the car while it was running and sitting in the inside of the gate. thankfully there was a kind stranger passing by who stopped to let me use their phone. i called premier and even though they gave us an estimate of 25-30 minutes, they got there under half the time. we were so relieved to see them (especially since i was already running late for an appointment)! it took a little while but they did come to the rescue and got into the car and unlocked the door. he even helped us to take photos so that we could submit our complaint to the parking management office. i was also able to pay by credit card onsite which was a relief since i had no cash on me. in addition, we had seen the yelp coupon for 20% off so that was definitely a bonus. thanks again for coming to our rescue, premier! read more

The story is hilarious, but the short version is thus: I'm working from home and preparing for my wife's return from a business trip by cooking and cleaning. UPS guy rings the doorbell, I go out to let him in and get my parcel. Locked out'd. Next thing I know I'm in the hall with no keys or jacket wearing slippers, stereo blaring and stove on inside. Wife's out of town, neighbors who have keys are all at work. The only door I can open will lock me out on the street. Luckily I had my phone in my pocket for some reason. And my building has a hallway. Bottom line, I was stuck in the hall for a grand total of 20 minutes, instead of my wife coming home 9 hours later to a burnt dinner, dirty apartment, and my slipper-wearing ass sitting dejectedly on the stairs. After locking myself out of my condo, I was in such a hurry to call a locksmith and get inside my place that I called the first number that popped up in my google search. BIG MISTAKE. A guy came out and off the bat charged me $156 (not including a $15 service charge) without even really looking at my lock. Then he spent 15 minutes twiddling around with all his tools trying to make it seem he was having a hard time with my lock - probably trying to find another way to bump up the price even more. To my rescue my boyfriend calls saying he found a better deal with the help of Yelp.com. So I cancel the service with this guy. I call Premier Locksmith and they were able to send a guy out here in 30 minutes. Matt, was awesome - he spent 30 seconds opening my lock, no sweat!!!! I told him about my situation earlier with the other locksmith and he responded that I might've been dealing with a scammer. Better yet, I was able to get a $20 yelp discount totaling to $95. First locksmith I found on yelp. I locked myself out after sleeping in my car near Japantown. I called, and he estimated that it would take him about 30 minutes for him to get to me. And guess how long it took?? 30 minutes! Hooray! I showed him some identification, signed some shit, and he had my car unlocked within a minute. It took even faster than I had imagined. I had a GREAT experience with Premier Locksmith today. First my car key wouldn't go into the ignition. Then (after using an internet tutorial) I got it in but it wouldn't turn. Then I tried a duplicate key and it went in and turned and the car started! Yay! But the key wouldn't come out no matter what I tried. Ugh. I called several different locksmiths and the guy at Premier was so nice and knowledgeable that I knew I'd found the right one. He made it incredibly easy to have the work done (I came to him while he was on another job) and it took about 15 minutes start to finish to replace the cylinder.
