Yeah, apparently that was a long time ago--because my recent experience makes me wonder if they should consider taking that one back. I rented a house from Ream and her company, Dream Realty Services, for two years. Everything was fine until the end, when she told me she didn't want to renew the lease. Fair enough--I appreciated the heads-up. We agreed I'd move out by June 30, 2025. She also told me a new lease would begin on July 1. We agreed on an exact day and time for the move-out inspection and key handover: Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. So what did my family and I do? We drove an hour from our new place, spent hours deep-cleaning the house in 90-degree heat--scrubbing the fridge, oven, bathroom, everything. When I messaged Ream that we were ready, she casually replied she wasn't available. "How about tomorrow?" Seriously? We held up our end of the agreement--she just... didn't show. No explanation, no solution. I waited for hours with no guidance on what to do with the keys. So I did the responsible thing: I filmed the whole place (which looked great), left the keys on the kitchen counter, locked up, and left. Later that night, Ream messaged saying she didn't have keys to get in. You'd think a landlord would, you know, have keys to her own property? I even suggested going through an open window--seriously, it was easier than this nonsense. She said she'd "check" if she had keys somewhere. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up. Fast forward ten days--yes, ten--on July 8, she messages to say the dryer isn't drying and the fridge isn't cooling. I told her both were working fine when we left (we literally used the dryer on move-out day), and as for the fridge, I'd reported issues months earlier. She sent someone who basically did nothing, so we just lived with it, knowing we were moving. Now, somehow, it's my fault that the fridge allegedly failed--after we moved out, after new tenants supposedly moved in. Am I going to be blamed for a burnt-out light bulb next month? To make things worse: today is July 29, the 30th day since I moved out, and she has still not returned my security deposit--or even provided an itemized list of deductions as required by Cook County law. That's not just shady, it's illegal. She's in clear violation of the Residential Tenant and Landlord Ordinance (RTLO). Even if you're buying--not renting--why put your money in the hands of someone who doesn't honor basic legal obligations or contracts? It's clear she plans to withhold my deposit over this made-up drama. After two full years of trouble-free tenancy, this is how it ends. I'm more than ready to take every step necessary to recover what I'm owed. "Honesty and integrity"? Not in my experience. I can't recommend Ream Masoud or Dream Realty to anyone who expects fairness, professionalism, or lawful treatment. Dream Realty? More like Nightmare Realty.

I'm so disappointed in Jennifer Zenere and the fact that she could not even provide my employment verifications to me to help us possibly save the home we were trying to buy. Our whole household was really hurt over this process and there was zero concern. The employment verifications could have helped us close on our house and she ignored our request and our lenders request further extending the process. She really got our hopes up and put us through a lot of unnecessary stress. Every day there was something new to do and we completed all of the tasks just to be treated like we meant nothing. It's a bad way to do business and I hope no one ever has to experience this because it has really took a lot out of me and my family mentally and emotionally. David said he was driving and when he got out of his car he would look at his calendar and reach out to my wife to let her know whether it would be Monday or Tuesday to show us the house and the time he was available for the showing. Since David never bothered to call us back, as he represented he would do, at 7:46 pm this evening, I called David and when he answered, I gave him my name and politely asked him if if I "was catching him at bad time" and David emphatically and rudely responded "yes you are" and proceeded to be extremely confrontational. It clearly sounded like David was in a loud bar. This is a most unprofessional conduct and response by a realtor who is trying to sell a house for a client. I explained to David that he promised to call or text my wife back re scheduling us to see this property on Monday or Tuesday. David said you're calling me on Friday evening. I said to David I'm calling you in the evening because you represented you would call or text my wife back earlier in the day to schedule a showing and you never called or texted her back. If this was such a bad time for you, David, to take a call, why even answer your phone from a number you clearly don't recognize? David said your wife called me late in the day. First, that's an untrue statement by David, and second it doesn't matter what time she called you during the day as you are realtor and owe your client a fiduciary duty. Great realtors are highly flexible and will often adjust their schedules and field calls in the evening in order to make a sale. Clearly, David, you are not a great realtor. David, you and your client lost a potential sale of the above the property because you couldn't bother to expend 20 seconds to return a call or send a text to schedule a showing and due to your unprofessional conduct, we are no longer interested in doing business with you. David, you completely failed your client, the seller. Your bio states "Buyers can expect an available and accessible agent." Clearly, this representation is nothing but fluff and BS. Your unprofessional conduct was to the detriment of your client (the sellers). You and your client missed an opportunity to sell this house for an all cash deal, no contingencies, close in 30-45 days. If I was in the seller's shoes, I would immediately fire you as the agent. We got a call from a manager at the firm offering the following explanation... According to "Tammy," they fired our listing agent 3 months ago for taking overpriced listings. (At the time we were told she left for "family reasons.") Now, Tammy claims, our listing was one of those overpriced listings and it's no wonder it hasn't sold. I asked why this is just coming to light now. It seems reasonable that, if true, we should have been given the correct data and the chance to adjust the asking price if it was indeed too high. Tammy talked in circles, saying they "did everything they should have done." It was a very confusing discussion. Bottom line-for 6 months we have been contracted with a firm that gave us poor advice, hid material issues from us and didn't sell our house. Communication was poor, we had to contact the agents repeatedly for information. And when this significant "overpricing" issue happened, serious enough to lead to an employee termination, we were left in the dark. I do not recommend Wexler Group.
