After he checked me in, he asked me if I would like something to drink while I waited, and he brought me a can of Diet Coke. How nice. Yes, there are a lot of "upsells" here, but they are not pushy about it. They explained that they do not get a commission on any extras that they sell. And anything that they offer you, if you say no? That's it, no pushback. I understand, it's their job.... It turns out that my vehicle has an oil pan leak, so I'm going to have to have it taken to be double checked. I asked them if they would take a picture Of the pan and the gasket with my phone, so I could show it to my brother who does work on his own Cars. They took the picture without asking. The price for a standard oil change is approximately $65, but you can always find a coupons online just by googling the phrase "oilstop coupons.". I did it before I came in, and found a coupon for 50% off a standard oil change. Not bad at all. They treated me right, and I was in and out relatively quickly. I was hopeful from the reviews but was shocked with how amazing the customer service was. Thomas, Ricky and Kevin all went above and beyond today taking care of my car and answering the 100 questions I tossed at them. Even after I paid and received my keys they took extra time to give me advice on maintenance and provided much needed education. These guys were so awesome and I will be coming here whenever I need any work done on my car!

I have 2 cars both were being serviced at Leon's and for regular service I liked them, good customer experience up front. However, I took my 95 Toyota Land Cruiser in with 2 issues a suspected fuel leak (we could smell fuel in the garage when you opened the door) and it was running rough, more so when it was cold. Leon's looked at these problems and said they could not find either one. About the same time I took my 2001 Subaru Outback to them about an overheating problem and the guy from the shop came back with a big list of repairs to fix the problem even though I told him this car was a car I was not going to pay lots of money to repair. So with no solution for either car I looked for and found a shop in Arcata. The Land Cruiser went in first. On the first day he dropped the fuel tank and found that the line to the emergency break had worn a hole in the top of the fuel tank and it was leaking. He fixed it and looked for the other problem, it took him a bit longer but not much and he found the number 5 spark plug cable was periodically arcing to the exhaust pipes. So here is the significance of that, Leon's let me drive the car out of there shop with an active fuel leek and an active ignition source should the fuel get close to it. I was not pleased. Then I took the Subaru to the same shop in Arcata and in less than a day he said he found the connector to one of the fans that go on when the radiator gets too hot was not securely connected. Infer what you want from this but one thing is for sure Leon's should have caught the loose connector. Both cars now seem to be running just fine. So why did I not rate them a 1? Well initially I rated them much higher. When I came here for oil changes and tuneups the customer service at the front desk was great and this is where most auto repair shops drop the ball. I assumed that the work in the back followed the same pattern, but this turned out to be a bad assumption. So they could be good for regular maintenance, but I would not go there for anything tricky.

They clipped the piece of molding back on for me, and didn't charge me. Since I had been here before, I also asked them to do another oil change. When I picked up the car from the oil change, there was a problem. The oil pressure light, and the check engine light were on. The oil level was good, so I took the car home, and then the following morning, I took the car into a separate shop for a second opinion on what was wrong When they ran the check engine light, it said that the oil pressure sensor was stuck. Apparently what had happened, was during the oil change, a prong from the oil filter had broken loose,, and it was blocking the oil pressure sensor. I went back to Firestone and spoke to the manager. I'm sorry I didn't write down his name He called over to the second shop where my car was, and the mechanic at the second shop explained in detail what had happened. Based on the situation and the explanation, the manager. At Firestone agreed to cover the cost of Getting my car fixed. The sensor situation was fixed with no out-of-pocket cost to myself. As I mentioned, I had been here for oil changes, quite a few times before, and nothing had ever happened. I get it, unfortunately, sometimes things happen. It's not that something happened, it's how the shop handled the situation. They absolutely took care of it to my satisfaction, I got my car fixed, and I would still bring it in for an oil change again. Thank you for taking care of me.

One of the worst experiences anyone can have. Car was still left with smudges on the body and…read morewindows and my seats were soaking wet when I revived the car. They promised to clean my carpets but when I got the text that they were ready, they were still filled with hair and dirt. Recently I saw scratches left all over my hood that were not there before the job and when I went to go talk to the people standing outside, they were no help saying they did not do it and tried to blame it on animal claws. Overall very bad experience and I will let everyone I know about this so they can stay very far away.

My shoe collected the slick stuff off the mat foot slipped off the brake pedal! The mats were coated with something that I believe is dangerous. I am aware Renner has an air/water station however it does not have a pressure gauge on it. Air pressure is a safety issue when riding a motorcycle which I was. After gas i pulled in front of the bay doors and saw the mechanic looking at me. I asked if I could get a squirt of air. He told me to go ask the person in the officeand he walked away. I walked into the office and spoke to a woman who acting as if I was bothering her. She referred me to Renner's air pump. Both people at this business are extremely rude and can't be bothered.
