I am a new hot tub owner. Unfortunately, I did not buy my hot tub from Premier Pools and Spa, but fortunately, they were incredibly helpful (and nonjudgmental) anyway! Paige ran my water sample, checked all the levels, was very informative and considered my options given my green water problem. Given it is December, I opted to try Unique to clarify my water and also bought a very inexpensive packet of Ahh!some jet cleaner in case I decide to drain and refill. We have had nothing but amazing service from everyone at Premier Pool and Spa! The entire staff - customer service, service staff, management, etc. - have always been friendly and extremely helpful. An example - we usually don't use our pool heater a lot in the summer, but we were having dinner guests and wanted to make it enjoyable for all 25 of them. ;) A few days before the dinner, I went to turn it on and it wasn't working. Alton and his crew at Premier Pool & Spa were able to get it up and running within hours of learning it didn't work. They never hesitated and went straight to helping solve the issue at hand. We were so grateful and the pool was a beautiful 90 degrees in the evening for our guests. Thank you! I've not written any reviews on Yelp until now. While looking up the hours today for Premier I came across the only review for this business. I can't disagree with the other reviewer more. I've been visiting this store for the past 3 years. I have an old, large, below ground, leaky, problem pool and they have come out to my house, spent hours in the store and on the phone and over email helping me. I no longer go to Custom Pools in favor of this Premier Pool store because of the time and effort I have gotten from many people here. I don't work with the "newby" kids they hire in the summer, but I've never seen what the other reviewer experienced by anyone! I really can't adequately explain the effort so many people in this store have put forth to help me. The hours of trouble shooting and discussions I've had with them are endless. I would definitely not recommend this company. I hired them to fix a leak in my hot tub. After replacing the part they said was leaking My hot tub still leaked. They argued with me over the phone and then told me to have somebody else fix it and hung up on me. I had to go through the whole hassle of disputing the charge on my credit card. I have decades of experience in sales and customer service training And I'm acutely aware that you don't always feel like you get the real attention of someone in retail. Especially when it's a big ticket item like a hot tub, if you don't trust the salesperson you don't feel like spending your money. That's NOT the case with Premier Pools. We actually had the general manager take an interest in our needs. He was remarkably sincere and helpful--past the point that we've come to expect these days. I wish I could give them a negative number. The service here has been CONSISTANTLY the worst I've ever seen. We've tried to give this local company business but every time it is a TERRIBLE experience. This time, my wife went to get a pool pump and a pool cleaning robot. We asked for the model number to see what reviews it had and he CUSSED AT HER AND WALKED AWAY!! This is not the only bad experience we've had there... we've asked for some information on pool supplies... and they just walked into the back and never came back out.... SERIOUSLY. Expensive. Prices increases every year. Bill not reflecting what was quoted. Charged credit card without asking with an inaccurate bill. Same employees open and closed my pool this year 2019. They must have broken brass anchors for my pool cover when they opened it during the Spring. They then closed the pool in the Winter and waited until then to tell me I have 2 broke anchors. Fixed them and charged me for them. Then when there were multiple problems with the bill they called a collecting agency to get money instead of fixing problem. Where do I begin????? I love this place and everyone who works there! When I have to get supplies for my Arctic Spa all of my kids want to come with me because they love the store and the people who work there! When I did extensive research on what type of hot tub to buy (which ended up being an Arctic Spa) I found Premier Pool & Spa (a local dealer). Man was I lucky!!! I mean...who allows you to keep your spa at their store for 6(+) months while you build an area to put it in????? Who can you call with dozens of questions on the specs of the a hot tub??? Who changes the hydraulic lid to ensure it fits in the area perfectly? Who can you call on short notice to install the spa?..... I can go on and on! Premier spa is awesome!!!!!! I also saw the negative review. I have to tell you every time I have an issue they have spent a lot of time with me on the phone helping me get to know my equipment and fix the problem myself. They all have gone out of their way to help me and they certainly didn't have to! I will continue to use them. read more
