The technician told me the part was not needed but installed it anyway . The heater ( under warranty ) functioned for 30 days before it failed ( Do not buy pentair Gas heaters) . I was told it failed because the ph of the water was too low . Well guess what the PH of water we drink is ? 6.5 -8.5 . Yet I'm told the one month of use the heater functioned was enough to "rot" out the heat exchanger. The water sample taken was 2 months after the heater failed and quit working. How can you determine what the PH of the water was when it quit working. They always try and make it my fault or my pool maintenance person's fault. My advice is do not use these people . They should be reported to the BBB for deceptive practices and illegitimate charges. I could go on but you get the point

Without our knowledge or permission, Pool Scouts contacted this company and received partial information on the report WE PAID FOR. Under no circumstances should this have happened. 3. We received an email from this company saying they wanted us to call them directly instead of calling their corporate office or writing reviews. I will let you figure out why they'd prefer those methods.

Unfortunately, I began experiencing problems almost immediately. On February 27, I contacted the company because the heater was overheating. The company responded and came out on March 4. After the repair, the tub lost power and required another service visit on March 5. On March 6, the tub developed a leak that required another repair. Additional service was needed again around March 17. On April 8, a hose blew off the pump, causing water to spray everywhere. The company returned on April 11 to make further repairs. As of June 15, I had already requested service seven times, and I was calling again because the tub was leaking once more. That brought the total to eight separate issues/service calls within just a few months of ownership. While the company did respond to service requests, I am disappointed by the number of defects and recurring problems in a brand-new hot tub. A new tub should not require this many repairs in such a short period of time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

So we took a drive down there to see what they had. We met Blake Fox, one of the owners. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and answered ALL of our questions. We are able to choose where we want to position the jets. If we want one pump or add more jets and add duel pumps. The entire process was so amazing! And the cost for a custom built hot tub, built and serviced right here in Tennessee by a proud military family???? Well, it was 1/3 of the price for what the big box store was going to charge us! They offer exceptional customer service. Are always available to answer any questions we had through the entire process and are one of the nicest families we've met here in TN. If you're in the market for a new hot tub, forget the big box stores. Go see Blake at Tennessee Tub Factory, he's simply outstanding.

I left a message with Veteran's Landscaping & Irrigation and received a call back within 30 minutes. Mr. Davis agreed to stop by my dad's to check out the sprinkler and leaks. Mr. Davis diagnosed the problems and came up with an itemized list of hardware needed to repair my dad's sprinklers and leaks. He was on time and reliable while working in my dad's yard. The neighbor who caused the problem watched as Mr. Davis was able to fix my dad's sprinklers and leaks and asked Mr. Davis to fix their sprinkler issues once he completed my dad's work. My dad was very pleased with the work Mr. Davis did. Dad had miscellaneous greenery growing in his backyard that he hired Mr. Davis to remove. Another great job performed by Mr. Davis's crew! Dad was very happy to see that area of the yard cleaned up. My mother-in-law had old overgrown shrubs from 1972 in her front yard that I asked Mr. Davis to look at and provide an estimate for removal and replanting of bushes. He provided a reasonable fair estimate and my husband asked him to do the job. My mother-in-law is thrilled with her beautiful new front yard. The plants selected by Mr. Davis look awesome!!! From the initial meeting with the owner Ray Garbiras and with Drew Mayeux who worked within our budget and our unique backyard requirements, through the design consultation and selection of materials with Megan and Abby, to our payment notifications with Angela, with the very knowledgeable and patient Marshall who led us through Pool School, to the final walkthrough with Ray, their team was professional, responsive, and truly committed to bringing our vision to life. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and delivered a design that perfectly fits our space and lifestyle. The construction process was smooth and well-managed. Communication was consistent, timelines were respected, and any questions we had were answered promptly. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding--our pool and surrounding area look absolutely incredible. We absolutely love our pool. This would not be possible without Premier Pools & Spa. Ray and Meagan I believe run the best pool company in north Alabama. Having people in your back yard can be a bit much but having Robert Lee communicating and being honest about expectations made the experience worth a legitimate Survey. American Leak Detection came out and found the problem which was, as expected, at the drain that was newly installed during the $12,700 pool upgrade and liner install. Why doesn't this company follow up with customers request to come back out since there was a leak? I am getting legal help and starting a claim today for monies lost due to leak and the cost to have the Leak Detection folks come out and do the job the pool guy didn't do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING...Unless you hold off on paying until you know things are correct. ------------------------------------------------------ Original POST..... We had our pool liner replaced and had the deep end shallowed up to 6 or so feet. The Company that worked on our pool was T L Marshall Custom Pools at 143 Oakcrest Road, Huntsville Alabama 35811 The rocks were added and eventually, the liner was installed. As the liner was being buttoned up the guy told me "Now, don't add water until about 2 hours to give the caulk time to dry". Well, we took his advice and doubled it waiting 4 hours to allow dry time. We filled our pool and started the pump. It was noticed that our pool was leaking at a fairly fast rate and the pool guy points to evaporation. My response was, "Our last liner didn't lose water at such a rate even in very hot weather". Another data point was he reused the stair strips to fasten to the steps instead of buying a new kit. I've asked several other Pool People and they all say that stuff is standard and he was cutting corners. Well I can't make him drop by and check things but I did notice the caulk was flaking off around the pool steps and landing at the bottom of the pool. This was a sign. I called another pool guy since this one wasn't doing anything about it much less returning my calls etc. This guy immediately found two leaks around the steps and attempted to fix them. This guy charged me $125 for the service call and $25 for caulking materials. He quickly stated, "Why did he use this kind of caulk?". This slowed the leak but obviously, there were more. I then reported T L Marshall to the BBB and this prompted a response and he showed back up. He never once mentioned the BBB complaint. He began applying caulk to the same steps and screws around the steps where the liner is fastened. All the while the pool pump was still running and as anyone who works with pools and leaks knows you turn off the pump. Then, as he was leaving that day with his helper he said now you call me if anything else comes up. --------- fast forward. I have sent multiple text messages made several phone calls and left a few voicemails. All to no response. So then, I reported again to the BBB. This time he responded with (copied from BBB website) "The $150 was returned to them and the leak is a result of him not following the directions that I gave to them. Water was put on the pump before it cured. I got in the water and made the necessary repair the leak. It is all fixed now." I answered this response with, "The problem still exists and the business is not returning my phone calls, or text messages. and the like. We waited 4 hours before filling the pool but he had advised 2 hours for cure time and both of us remember him saying 2 hours". What or how should I approach getting this fixed? Call an attorney? Get another Pool Company or Leak Detection company to fix it then write it up again on the BBB? Send the bills to T L Marshall? I just want the pool to be right and over amount spent was $12,700 which he has been paid. I guess he expects me to just go away since he has been paid. By all means avoid this company for all your pool needs. If they can treat me this way they will treat someone else the same.

Comparing the design and equipment between the two pools, I see that the Dolphin pool I had at my other home was much better design and parts. The more I learn and live with my Valley Pool the more I wish I had my Dolphin Pool. I now see why Dolphin was a bit more in cost. Having said that, my Valley pool is ok. It does the job and from a resale perspective, I didn't get anymore out of my old house because of the type of pool I had.
