I wrote a 5 star on Google, and I'm back with another 5 stars... this time for service. Our installation with Premier went incredibly smoothly, and their ongoing support has been just as impressive. We had an issue with one zone having errors after my toddler was tampering with the motion sensor. One quick call later, their tech walked us through disabling the zone in minutes. I honestly can't say enough about how much better this experience has been than working with ADT or Ackerman!! With ADT, I'd still be on hold, getting transferred endlessly, only to be told a tech could come out a week later to try and upsell us a whole new system. Switch to Premier. They're truly the best- they really make home security simple, efficient, and stress-free. read more

I contacted this company because my older home security system was broken, and I was unhappy with our security service from Akerman Security. Chris Anderson, the service manager at Premier Security, called me within 30 minutes of my leaving a message. He was sharp and had been in the business a long time. He recognized the problem immediately. I explained the problem to Chris and told him that I wanted a new alarm service, but it had to be someone who could fix our system. He was candid and said that his company services most everything but not our old Rollins IV. Even though he had nothing to gain from me since I couldn't be a customer, he understood my situation and said he'd make a few calls. I had been researching this problem but had hit a brick wall. Chris called me back in like 20 minutes! He had great info for me and told me who I could call for help. His lead was a good one. He never made disparaging comments about Akerman and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He couldn't sell me anything, but he helped me anyway, with nothing to gain but a "thank you." I just really appreciated a total stranger helping me out like that, someone who expected nothing in return. Must be a great company. read more

I have used Premier Security since 2014 and they have proven themselves to be an outstanding service provider with a consistent high level of quality. I had them change out our old alarm system in 2015 with a modern Honeywell product that provides all the latest features (wireless, video monitoring, home automation, remote control by app on smartphone, etc.) that everyone wants today. The Security Consultant (Chris Anderson) that installed the system and has provided our services since is outstanding and is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He listens carefully to all your questions and responds to your satisfaction. The company monitoring service is the most affordable in this area that I have found and their response to an alarm is very fast and professionally handled. If you want a top quality security service at a fair price, this is the company you have been waiting for. I cannot say enough good things about them and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I switched to Premier Security a few years ago when my existing company became non-responsive. I have a NAPCO system that a lot of monitoring companies do not service since they do not have the equipment to do it. I called Premier and they said they do and would take care of me. Premier sent a tech, programmed my panel to call into their service and that was it. Everything since has worked perfectly. They have a very fast response time, I set it off a few times a year to be sure all is working and they respond within 30 seconds. I have also called them to put the system on test mode if I was doing work around the house etc and they answer the phone promptly and are very professional. I highly recommend them. read more

I am very impressed with the service I've received during sign-up and configuration of my Honeywell Ademco P20 system for monitoring by Premier Security. This is how customer service should be done! I had more than the average number of questions along the way, and each one was handled with courtesy and careful attention. The service technician was courteous and patient with my questions during his visit to my home, and even called me back a couple of days after the installation to talk me through a configuration change I wanted to make. I was a Premier Security customer. I referred them to a neighbor. Premier arranged an onsite sales visit with my neighbor and gave us the available 2 hour window of 12-2. My neighbor took off work to be at home and be there for the appointment. They said they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival as a courtesy. Around 1:30pm the potential customer still had not heard from Premier so she reached out to their support line to talk to Tiffany who answers the phones. Tiffany indicated she didn't know where the service manager was but was trying to find out. My neighbor proceeded to call back at 3:30 when there was still no sign of the Premier service manager. Tiffany then said that she still couldn't get in touch with him but he was at a home that had been burglarized and trying to help them "salvage what he could". Chris never called my neighbor to let them know he was running late or wasn't going to arrive. Tiffany never called my neighbor to let them know they were going to be late or not arrive. My neighbor never received not one heads up that there was a delay or the appointment needed to be rescheduled. 24 hours later, she had still received no phone call. No apology, no concern, no call, nothing. Yes, things happen but the fact that no one thought it might be a good idea to keep the customer in the loop - simply discraceful. This was one of the most unprofessional business practices I have ever witnessed. I then told them I was going to cancel my Premier account because they made me look bad to my neighbor and obviously didn't show any care or concern in winning over a potential new client. They proceed to tell me "We are sorry to lose your business. We do require a 30 day written cancellation notice. Your account is paid up until the end of this month, so I can cancel your account at the end of this month, or I can cancel your account today. Please let me know how you do with to proceed. Again, I am sorry to lose your business and wish you the best." Then the service manager Chris gets wind that I'm canceling and calls me to apologize on a voicemail. He says on the voicemail "Im sorry I didn't come yesterday, we had an incident that needed to be taken care of and I missed all my appointments. I hear you are canceling and just wanted to let you know Im sorry" There was NEVER an attempt by Chris or Tiffany to try their best to make things right, there was no sense of urgency, no care or concern. It was as if they are going out of business and it was their last day. VERY pitiful. If they are staying in business please know that Chris and Tiffany need a serious Business 101 course in how to treat customers. They do NOT know how to professionally run a business and it showed by their lack of action and indifferent attitude yesterday. How should it of been handled? This is common sense but first you need to call when you are going to be late or need to reschedule - you think!?!?!?!. Next, any reputable business would have given us both several months for free for all the hassle or some type of incentive due to their massive screw up. Nope, they simply said we wish you the best. JUST BE CAREFUL WITH PREMIER, they are in WAY over their heads and haven't completed the business course, they dropped out of business 101 on the first day apparently Show some integrity, its what the good businesses do - There are many options for home monitoring. Choose another even if you pay $2 more a month. read more

I'm a happy customer of Premier after being taken advantage of by a typical alarm company requiring an extended contract and ZERO customer service and actually some shady business practices. What a different experience I receive from Premier Security! From their responsive and extremely knowledgeable service rep (Chris is GREAT!) to their friendly billing and support staff - Premier has it down to do it right every time. I've now been using their services for several years and never have an issue that doesn't get resolved immediately on the first contact. If I could give them ten stars I would. read more

Not only do they maintain and service our alarm system, but also installed our camera system. Love that we can access both systems remotely from apps on our cellphones. Do not take their word for the price. I had a Bad experience where their technician came and reprogrammed our old system. Then told us that their system will not work on the same wiring and we need to install a cell/wireless monitor. (WHY DID HE NOT INFORM US BEFORE ??)Told us we either need to get a phone line or are forced to get their Cell monitor and pay a price of $21.00 instead of $12.00 per month as promised. IT'S A SCAM...... I called their main office in Atlanta and the customer service was very rude. She would not let me talk and put the phone down after she finished telling me what their technician had reported. Now my old alarm company is asking for $ 150.00 to visit and fix the problem. read more

Our ancient Rollins alarm system died a slow death, so we got quotes from 4 top security firms. 3 sent salespeople who had been with their company for a few months. Chris at Premier came out and impressed me with his knowlege and long career in security systems. He has been in the business for many years and started Premier Security. He is also the service manager. He comes across as trustworthy and honest, not pushy and not only interested in the sale. He sent Ben out to install the system, and hosnestly, it is perfect. Ben has also been with the company for a long time and knew what he was doing. Their follow up and follow through has been more than I expected. We are so happy that we chose them - we couldn't have had a better experience. Wish all buying experiences went this well. read more

I have been very happy with my service from Premier Security. I have an older system that no other company would touch unless I replaced the entire system! The customer service rep I spoke to said it wouldn't be an issue to have my system taken over and I was hesitant because why would the other companies tell me I would have to change it out?! She sent out her service manager to my home who got my system up and running within minutes. He tested the system, installed a cellular radio (something I was told could not happen), and made sure I was comfortable with operating the system! I didn't have to sign any contract, was treated so professionally over the phone and in person and that made me feel even better about my safety! Very happy to give them 5 stars!! read more

I've been with Premier for a little over 3 years now and I have always been satisfied with pricing and my service. Recently, I had some issues with my system and an error signal that would not go away. I called into their office and was immediately walked through a procedure to test my alarm to make sure there were no communication issues. The bad news, my cellular communication device had gone bad, but the good news was that Premier had their Service Manager out to replace it in only 2 days. They were completely booked for the holidays, but he took the time to work late and make sure everything was resolved! I definitely know I made the right decision in my Home Monitoring Service Provider!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Premier security has been our security monitoring company for the last 4 years. We recently finished a portion of our basement and bought a new key pad to install in the basement. We paid $90 for the co-owner of the company to come and install it. He came and collected his money, but he somehow caused the upstairs keypad and 2nd floor keypad to no longer chime when one of our doors opens. The 2 original keypads had been working fine before his visit, but after he left- the entire system is now useless. I called and spoke with a customer service supervisor who told me the installer would not be returning to fix any of the keypads. I basically paid $90 for him to come and break my security system. I contacted BBB and Premier Security did not even respond to them and they never responded to me either. To say they only care about collecting the cash is an understatement. Stay FAR, FAR, FAR away from this company. We will be switching to a company that can provide better service once our contract is up. read more
