Warning to those ordering a new car from this dealer; MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER YOU GET A COPY OF ALL PAPERWORK. I ordered a vehicle from this location @ the end of May. The salesman I dealt with originally "quit" (I think he got fired) a week after the deal was made (No one ever contacted me telling me "he left" nor that anyone else was taking over.) I ended up calling the dealership and speaking to the General Sales Manager Damian Fournier. Damian forward my information to Damon "DJ" Stefko who was my original TrueCar.com contact with the dealership (that is where I got my price on the vehicle from). For the two months I was waiting for the vehicle DJ was almost impossible to get ahold of. I was going through Damian the majority of the time. I wasn't happy with the service and I was also thinking about purchasing a 2015 Legacy. My original order was for a 2015 Subaru WRX Limited Silver w/ HK Audio/Nav/Push To Start. I later went and rebuilt the car with Short Throw Shifter, and Body side molding options and asked Premier to match the price which they did. When I found a price with Bertera Subaru in MA I forwarded that screenshot to Damian. They wouldn't match. Since it was only $500 more I stayed with Premier. My vehicle arrived at port on July 17th, 2014. My vehicle arrived at the dealership on Friday July 25th, 2014 (I know this because I just took a ride out there that night and saw it on the lot). I called Sunday night just before closing and spoke to DJ and was told; "I was just about to call you". I asked him when my vehicle arrived and he informed me late the night before (so Saturday night but I know it was there on Friday night for a fact). I asked if he get the milage on the odometer to me so that I can make sure they don't rack up the miles on test drives. He said he would get that to me tomorrow (Monday). All day monday I waited and got nothing, was told that someone would call me to set up an appointment for delivery and no one called me. I ended up calling them getting both Damian and Dj's voice mail and finally spoke to a lady and told her that I will be stopping by on Tuesday. I was told their computer systems were down which is why she didn't call me (Getting a bs story again). She also informed me that they would have to re-appraise my vehicle; I told her no that the trade in offer was already agreed upon. The following day July 29th, 2014 I made my way to the dealership and arrived just before 5pm. Met with DJ we sat down; he gave me the key to the WRX so that I can take a look while they looked at my car to make sure everything was still the same. The WRX has not even been pre delivery inspected yet (which should have been done prior to my arrival). We sat back down and of course they changed their appraise offer and offered me $4,000 less than the original signed offer. I asked them to see the original paperwork and of course they no longer had it and asked me if I had it (first sign that they were covering up that they were shafting me. I got very upset at this point and I will admit raised my voice. My grandfather then asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over and at this point I wanted nothing to do with anyone. Dj had insisted he took my deposit on the day of order and I argued with him that he did not as he had take the day off and was not working that day (my girlfriend was with me that day and also told him that he did not) but he did not want to listen and apparently must have been their in spirt that day. When Damian came over my grandfather told him that we had a signed deal and that I was never told the vehicle had to be re-appraised. Damian informed him that I was told in emails and over the phone that it would have to be (I have all my emails and the 1 maybe 2 phone calls we had mentioned nothing of this sort). Damian now was on the offensive; he was calling me a liar at this point so I told him; "I have all the email; you guys are saying you have all the emails to so prove to me where you said that in the emails; show me!". He didn't like me "getting in his face (not literally)" and stood up and stated; "Your lucky we are even selling you a car after you tried putting Beteras price on our letterhead" (meaning the TrueCar.com value). I'm sorry but if your going to accuse me of forgery or doctoring paperwork you better be able to prove it. At this point even more I cared less about the car and it because about principle. I demanded he prove to me where I doctored any paperwork as I can go right online and pull up the price immediately proving him that I didn't do what he was accusing. He tried interrupt and I interrupted him and told him to prove it. At this point he was caught in his lie and kicked me out of the dealership (grandfather stayed and got my deposit back). Also never said I'd "go crazy" if car was reappraised. 1 star rating for this dealer and 2 for old name (Chase Parkway) says enough. read more

AWFUL. Do not got here. They lie about car history. Do not deal with Sherry in Finance as she is even worse. We asked them to cancel a warranty on 4/24 and it took them almost 30 days and they will not release our money until Subaru pays them....its your fault not ours! They don't even deserve one star in my opinion. I tried to purchase a vehicle for my 84 year old mother. We signed and took the vehicle, they called me the next day to let me know the vehicle financing did not go through to bring the car back and they needed her to sign new finance ppwk. Told me it was something with the warranty term. They could not match the finance terms of the old contract so after a heated argument we walked away leaving the vehicle. I called the next day to get a refund on my down payment. I was told by Joe that he would take care of this and apologized, told me the whole thing was their fault and of course they would give my mother back her money. He then told me the woman that handles the refunds was out until Monday and to call him back. I did twice, no return call. I filed a dispute with the cc company for the down payment. The dealership came back to the cc company and said that my mother just dropped the vehicle and keys off two days later with no explanation. Wouldn't you think my mother would still owe the money on the car no matter who had possession of the vehicle? That was a lie. They also sent them a copy of the paperwork stating no refunds on down payments. In my mother's defense they never had a right to register and let her take the car without the financing so the contract should be voided and the money should be returned to her. Why would she sign a new financial agreement that was clearly not in her best interest? They did my poor 84 year old mother wrong. read more

Not a customer-friendly place- very cold , never contacted me after I test drove a new outback and expressed interest in their offer of zero percent financing. I was told they would only finance fifteen grand at zero percent and they did not seem at all interested in my 2yr.old Prius with 16 thousand miles on it. They just had a very condescending attitude and never did get back to me with any kind of an offer whatsoever read more

I have bought 3 cars from Premier Subaru, one from the Branford dealership, and 2 from the Watertown dealership. My previous transactions were very good. This time there was a major consumer blunder. I placed a $500.00 deposit on a car with 12 miles reported on the odometer. A week later, when I came to pick up the car, and after completing paperwork that stated 12 miles on the odometer, I got into the car to find 256 miles on the odometer. I brought this to the attention of the dealership. They changed the DMV paperwork and asked me if I was happy with my new car. I said no I am not happy!!! the general sales manager walked me out to the car and again asked and again I said no I am not happy. No one ever suggested that I could cancel the sale at this point. My plates had already been transferred from my old car. I've been attempting to resolve this with the general manager and general sales manager as well as the owner. They offered a trade-in of this car for another with low mileage but it would cost me another $1400.00 so I refused that option. They want me to take a $100.00 refund, explaining that this is a fair price for the mileage. I want a $1000.00 refund based on the fact that I would not have even bought this particular vehicle if they had correctly reported the mileage at the beginning and that they broke our original contract by providing the wrong information. read more

Had a great experience at Premier Subaru Watertown last weekend. We knew which models we wanted to test drive and all were available. Sal, our salesperson, was professional, knowledgeable, and did not pressure us to buy. The car was cleaned and ready for us to drive away after taking care of the financing paperwork. Reviews are certainly mixed by other customers, but our experience was a good one. We haven't used the service dept. yet so can't comment on it. read more

I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle this year, but after being rear ended and the other driver totaling my Volvo S40 (purchase brand new in 2006 and it kept me safe!!) I had no choice. I opted to purchase a Subaru Legacy, as they are considered a "safe vehicle", are all wheel drive and are very stylish. Being the end of the model year, there were not many to be found and I had one requirement that HAD to be met---it had to be white!!! I worked with the salesman Patrick Longhi who went out of his way to find me one and a very stylish Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited at that!--and a we worked out a great deal!! From the time I walked into the show room until the last handshake before I drove my new car home, the entire experience was exceptional! Never ignored, polite salesman and employees--they really care about the customer and their car buying experience! I feel confident that if I have any questions regarding my new Legacy (oh so many new options and gadgets compared to my Volvo I purchased in 2006!!!) I know that I can call or even stop by and they will be courteous and more than willing to take the time to answer any of my questions--no matter how many times I ask! Great experience, treated with respect, and an awesome car--what more can one ask for?!! read more
