This is hounds-down the most proactive, thorough & professional provider I've had the pleasure of working with. He is kind, thoughtful & always asks if I need anything else from him. He's performed two procedures on me & I've had no complications with either. It's genuinely challenging finding good doctors, especially specialists these days but thankfully, he's been mine. I recently met…read moreCardiologist/ Electrophysiologist Dr. Micah Roberts and he is so knowledgeable, professional, listener, great at explaining everything regarding cardiology related. The main reason I have been referred to Dr. Roberts is because my current Dr. Desai has moved on into another role and doesn't see patients. I also had questions regarding ablation process which was directed to Dr. Roberts who has 15 years plus in experience. Between both Cardiologist Dr. Desai and Dr. Roberts you are in the best hands ever! They both genuinely care for their patients and very approachable people persons. Trust me, now days these traits in doctors are very hard to find. Now, the Kaiser office is very clean and fast paced to get you in to be patient seen as a patient. However, the parking has never been bad, but now it gets very busy over the years. I'm not sure if more population has moved to Bakersfield now? The parking can be a pain for a small town, however depending on time and day the parking lot gets really full. All nurses that check you in have been very courteous. The office experience has never been bad. If you ever need a good cardiologist I've named two that are the best! Trust me.

After several years of being able to do that at that location, now you can't, have to go to Bakersfield. I tried the number in Bakersfield, of course go the call center who proceeded to set up an appointment for me in lebec. Then I got a call from the one in lebec telling me they don't do that there anymore. It was very frustrating for me and the nice lady at the clinic trying to help me.

In my third visit with her, today, I had to literally walk out and won't be back! I asked other staff if she was just having a bad day. So consistently condescending but today she was actually rude. I asked about side effects of a particular drug she stated no one had ever complained to her before and dismissed my question. Then when I asked her to clarify something she got irritated with me and started with more condescension. If you don't agree with her she will belittle you into thinking you're the one that's wrong rather than explaining like most doctors! No thanks! Update: 04/15/26 - I spoke with Dr Gilli on the phone and it's seems they are somewhat flippant and unapologetic in their attitude towards the situation. I don't feel comfortable with this response that she "always" treats patients with respect after I conveyed the opposite in a professional manner over the phone. This was damage control gone wrong imo. Black box warnings are serious and it's too bad this Dr. doesn't care to make any changes as she is a 25 year employees with the company. He's got her back regardless. I appreciate the call back but it's clear his attitude is just like hers. They don't care.
