Update January 2026: Called once again for a simple draft issue. Immediately they start talking about replacing all of the windows. The problem is simply the 3/16" fur weatherstrips becoming matted from use over the years and needing to be replaced. They just slide out and you insert a new strip. The strips are literally $10 for 25 feet or $30 for 100 feet if you buy in bulk...Feldco wants to charge thousands of dollars to replace entire windows when the weatherstripping on the entire floor (7 windows) would be under $60 and take maybe an hour to do. Record keeping also may not be not up to par as they seem to be missing records for the building. They are beyond greedy and prey on customer's ignorance. Avoid them like the plague. read more

Peter explained everything and gave me all the details on install and product. Today, Daniel & Idalia my door installers came to install my old side door as well as a storm door. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of work!! The dream team amazing perfection. My side door was no easy install either with the custom dimension. Everyone was so polite and kind. God Bless You! Feldco life time warranty is a joke. Windows are poor quality and they do not honor the warranty. I have a window that broke 2 yrs ago. Feldco came out looked at the window and never came back. I called several times and no return calls. Finally I called back today because the window has gotten worse. They want $129 to come out and you still have to pay for parts and labor. To add insult they lied and said they fixed the window 2 yrs. Ago and wanted to charge me $85 stating I had an account balance. When I asked how could I owe on a window that was never fixed they told me that is what their records show what the technician wrote in the records. I told them that there technician lied because why would I be calling back about the same window. Their lifetime warranty is a lie and the customer service and follow up is subpar. read more

We spent a lot of money on windows and doors. When it came time to replace the large storm door window with a screen, we ran into an issue. We couldn't remove the necessary screws because the door handle blocked one of them. when I called the "manager" to speak about the design flaw, he said "yeah, sometimes it just lines up that way, but not always." How is that helpful? Their mistake and we have to deal with this issue after spending thousands of dollars on this. I would NOT recommend this company! read more

Prior to scheduling an installation date, I called the GM Deonti Coopers asking to rescind the contract and get my $2,000 deposit back because the AC unit went out on my house and I needed to reallocate the funds to the new HVAC system. Deonti Coopers refused to give me my deposit back and he's refusing to let me purchase the windows without and install them myself so they wouldn't be out any money. He said no they don't let anyone but themselves install their windows. So they seriously expect me to just give up a $2,000 deposit with no product or service provided?!?!? Awful experience. Nothing "delightful" about Feldco We Purchased 8 windows. Installation left burn marks in lawn. Windows all had dirty hand prints on outside. Torn screen. Management refused to return my calls. Screen replaced a month later. First significant rain 4 of 8 windows are leaking. Water running down walls into floor. The soonest Feldco can come look is 18 days from my call. It took a month and multiple phone calls from me to get a screen replaced. I can't imagine the nightmare in store for me having these windows replaced. Feldco is the worst company to work with! Their ultimate goal is to take your money and never own up to their part of the contract. I have had an issue with my custom bay window for years...yes years! Feldco has sent numerous people out to "fix" the window. The last 2 guys that came (on different dates) both said the window needs to be replaced. We have water damage that we cannot fix because it's just going to leak again whenever it rains we have to constantly watch the window so we can change the towels under it trying to save out hardwood! We asked Feldco to provide an estimate for a door for our condominium, the Rep showed up and was very pleasant provided us with an estimate, we agreed to terms and put a down payment of $1,000. With installation scheduled for the fall 2022. We received a phone call today (almost two months later) stating that they don't install "commercial doors" and would return our down payment within 7 to 10 business days. My complaint is they held onto our money for two months and instead of an immediate refund we have to wait 7 to 10 days. Most importantly, the Rep did not know that the condominium is considered a commercial property. Lastly, the Rep should have called and apologized for the error not customer service. read more

Where do I start? The salesman took almost our entire night to pitch us on windows. But he assured us they were the best and that their prices were competitive. The installation took place a month after they said it would. After waiting two months for two windows, one of the windows cracked during the install. Nobody from Feldco followed up about when they would come replace the window. I talked to three customer service reps, one of which acted like I was wasting her time and told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they would come out and replace it. So now we will have a cracked window in the coldest months of the year. (We agreed to get new windows because we wanted them in time before January-February.) Nobody seems to care. Please don't make the same mistake we did. UPDATE: When we finally got an appointment for the replaced window (11 days and 7 calls later) Feldco called on the day of and said they lost our window in the " factory." Had windows and door installed in March. Shoddy workmanship damaged siding on my house taking 5+ months to resolve with no communication until I started hounding them. Today, window instalation failed with cold wind coming around the windows creating frost on the inside. We'll see how long it takes to fix that, but I will never buy from feldco again! read more

I ordered a garage door on May 12 2021. Was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks. It never came in that time. Calls to company I got no satisfaction. During this time I sold my house and moved to southern part of the state. I called to cancel order, but was told I couldn't because I didn't cancel 4 days after I ordered. They did offer me $34.00. All of the sudden the garage door was sitting in their warehouse. Asked if I could have it delivered to my new address, NO, because I lived too far away, and they didn't want the expense of delivery. But I could come up to Peoria Il and pick it up myself. Being 71 on a limited budget being screwed out of my money is a big deal. Don't deal with these robbers. read more

I got a quote from feldco for 13 new windows.They came out measured windows and setup financing.Came 2 weeks after the said instillation date.Then i go to inspect the work. One window that i know of was clearly installed into rotten wood and I'm sure if i pull the trim off on the outside of the rest of the windows that would be the case. Even though the salesman said they will replace all rotten and bad wood around the windows before installing. Another window does not close right.It spring back up 1/4. Another window the screen is broken. Another window you have to force the lock to get it to lock. I have been trying to contact them for a month now and haven't got anywhere. The worst customer service of any company I have ever seen. Absolute garbage. Okay windows if you can even get a hold of service and get them installed. What a joke. Waited months with no word on status. Finally got a call to schedule I sat but missed it. Called them back for a week straight. And left messages every day and never got a call back finally requested to talk to a "manager" from the regular service line. Spend 20 minutes on hold only to be told no one is there and a message has been left with the department. I order windows in October it's January and still no word on my windows. Update - I finally, after months and months got the windows installed. It's a mess. It's been weeks and I'm still finding nails in my driveway and yard. It's ridiculous. Window frames are dented, and not in good condition. One window was cracked but the company said they would fix it. I had an appointment but on one ever came. After receiving a quote from Feldco to replace a storm door, I decided not to accept their offer. I am writing this review just to let others know that their prices are quite high. I chose a basic aluminum storm door (self-storing) in white. No fancy features eg beveled glass. The cost was $1093. That was with 20% off. Installation and hardware was an additional $593. So, $1686 for the purchase and installation of one aluminum storm door. And the customer doesn't even get to see the quality of the door before purchase. Just so you know. First off the installers were good. The windows on the other hand are of low quality, the actual glass surface is less than the old windows by a full 1.5 inches less which is very noticeable. We made some changes to the order and actually asked for a full refund but changed my mind to go ahead with the order. The salesman I guess did not like that and stopped all communication with us. They have 2 extruded colors white an almond that they push, if you want a different color they spray paint it's an extra 450.00 for each window play adds 4 week to the order. When they came for the second measurement they showed me a clay color that was extruded and matched our windows perfect. I called the salesman John S and after some "checking" we were told that that extruded color was no longer available and was discontinued a year ago that they should have not showed it to me. When salesman first came he didn't have actual color samples. No I would not use them again. We purchased 2 windows for 2156.00. Look elsewhere for windows I wish I had. read more

Update four months later. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BE TRICKED BY FELDCO'S COMMERCIAL MARKETING PITCH! It took 5 different installers visits before the poor installation problem was corrected. The fifth guy finally corrected the problem but, he ruined some parts of my wood floors. The installer had a liquid solvent in a large white bucket. I saw him many times dip a sealer gun in the solvent. Because he poorly cover the floor the solvent drip on my wood floor and ruined the factory shine. Also, he hammered nails in my wood floor to hold up the temporary wall (blocking the cold air from my bed bound terminal ill husband), I called the office several times and spoke with a male from the management team. He promised Feldco would send a person from their team to investigate the damage and repairs would be made. To date no one has come out to investigate or repair the damage to my wood floors. DO NOT USE FELDCO. I wish I could give negative stars, one star is extremely generous. We have had a NIGHTMARE experience with Feldco over the last 4 months. Sales Rep came to our home in early April and verified they can complete our window repair project, we paid $1,000 on the spot for half of the installation cost. We were told the installation would be completed by end of May. Then, another technician came to measure the windows again to ensure accuracy. We were told they ordered our windows and would schedule the install appointment once the windows came in and our HOA approved (which they did). June rolls around, we hear NOTHING from them. Several emails, several phone calls, took about a week to get a response from them asking when they can "Come look at our windows and take some measurements to see if they can help us." They completely forgot we were already under contract and active clients who paid them $1,000. After several more phone calls and emails to receive another response on how to move forward (realizing they have no idea what they are doing and have NOT ordered our new windows), they finally tell us they are not capable of completing our window repair project. We are still waiting for a refund. They wont call or email us back to even discuss this situation and/or apologize. i had garage doors install sine June 2022 now it's March 2023 and they are not done. my power don't work in my garage and my car had to be in the element all winter. They say they not responsible for the power but they were the ones that disconnected everything back in November when the door was not the right size after three people measured it. I have had four different times people come out and no one can do the job completely the worst company . I had a really uncomfortable salesperson come to my home to discuss installing a new patio door. I had such a good experience 2 years ago when Feldco did all the windows in my home, and I was excited to work with them again. However, the salesperson has been rude in their communications to me, is doing a bait and switch when it comes to pricing, etc., I no longer want to work with Feldco. Since JULY I have made three phone calls, sent multiple emails, and have been told a manager would reach out within 3 business days. We have been promised MANY different installation dates and they keep getting moved due to this. Just don't.... Save yourself the headache. Ordered garage door 11/6/20. It is now March. No install date as of 3/4/21. Salesman's voicemail is full and cannot leave a message. Would love to cancel my whole order and start over with another company but they refuse to refund. They will schmooze you and tell you they will give you top rated service. They will tell you what great installers they have. I am terrified if we need repairs once the FINALLY install product- we will have zero support. I wish I would have trusted my gut and checked out yelp or better business bureau before we signed contract. I am guessing that's why they have such high pressure sales to sign on spot. My husband continued calling up the management chain until he got to the boss's boss's boss. Feldco finally apologized and offered to replace the broken door. Three reasons why only two stars: Scheduler over the phone did not communicate that visiting representative would want to take 90 (yes, 90) minutes to draft my estimate. Representative spent first 30 minutes explaining why Feldco is such an industry leader. Felt like more of a sales pitch then an standard estimate. Feldco earned two stars for being punctual for the appointment, sending a representative who knew his stuff and giving me the confidence that if I had an extra $6K they would do a good job. Transferable warranty also sounded good but you get what you pay for. Or do you? Going with Home Depot and so far I've gotten relatively decent quality for 1/3 of the price! The estimate itself was ridiculously high. The representative then told me that I could get a special deal if I signed on the dotted line that day. read more

Well, it's been a long wait since September 2021 to get a reinstallation of our main kitchen window and some work done on the others which were minor. I can honestly say we are very happy it is finally complete. We originally wrote a review and complaint several months ago regarding the window installations from September 2021 and the long response and awaited reinstallation. Since then, we were losing hope. Now, they finally came on 07/26/22 to install the kitchen awning window. We could have never been as happy to see it get completed,e and complete the correct way. The technician who came out did such a fantastic job that he knows his craft and made sure it was even and caulked well, also checked and caulked the small little gap on the bottom window cap in our upstairs bedroom. He was great to take to and we felt better. I highly recommend Lester as the technician. We are feeling much more confident now that we can order a new set of windows for next year that will finally complete our full list for the house. We have had three windows installed in 2015, and now 7 in 2021. I understand the long wait during the pandemic and logistics issues, so patience played a big part. The customer service rep Stevbne Jackson at the South Chicago Feldo assured us he will call us directly to take of our needs in the coming year or sooner if we go ahead with a new set of windows. The windows are manufactured perfectly so no problem with them. If Feldco outfits across the midwest turn it around to get their stars up for customer service satisfaction, then they can make it much harder for competing outfits to be on their level. The front door on our house was original (1964) and just worn out. We looked around and knew what we wanted. Feldco did our windows so when the "June Free Installation" commercials appeared, we called them. The salesman knew the product and did not try to weasel us into buying a bunch of stuff we didn't need or want. 6-8 week lead time on delivery (actually only about 5 weeks). Immediate appointment for install. Installer showed up a little early (Yippee). BTW, returning customers get some significant rewards. He removed the screen door; removed the old door, frame and locks. Installed the new frame and door and reinstalled the screen door. This guy was wonderful, super clean and put up plastic sheeting (no damage to walls) inside to keep all the mess in the foyer. Spotless cleanup inside and out. He did everything but scrub the floor. He hauled away the old door, frame and all packaging. Very polite, nice man. Wonderful experience! read more

On the initial visit, the sales rep said I needed additional work and it would be $700+. When they came to do the final measurements, the guy said they did not need to do this work and would order the windows once I spoke to sales rep. When I called the sales rep to let him know, he would only take $150 off the price and could not explain why it was $700 to put it on but only $150 to take it off! Sounds like just trying to hit numbers to me and not the actual cost of the windows. Still waiting for the manager to call me back but it's only been a few weeks. Had a rear porch sided and the Salesman took way too long to give me a quote and then I had to fight with him on the prices because I believe the quote was way too high, but we ended up with a good deal, but the quality of material that he showed me did not arrive and furthermore he told me two to four weeks we was our 8th week when we finally got scheduled for installation and once again the quality of the material what is what sold me, but when they came to install it the installation was not exactly what he showed me at the interview but i the quality of the service that the installers did, the salesperson said to me that Fel-Pro hires they own people and they go through all this training but that company farmed out some guys but they did an excellent job. read more
