We hired Premiere for our 130 person backyard wedding in Altadena in April 2026, and we could not have been happier with their work! We worked primarily with Sandy who was so wonderful and easy to work with. She was communicative, flexible, professional, and so kind. They provided all of the rentals for our entire wedding: everything from forks to the huge tent we had to rent with only 24 hours notice due to the rain forecast. Their team of folks who helped set up everything was incredible and worked so hard. It took them hours and they made sure everything was perfect. At first, we were hesitant about the cost, but after seeing all the manpower, labor, and beauty of what they were able to put together for us, we feel it was SO worth it and then some. On the day of the wedding, their team helped us execute a complete flip from the ceremony to the reception all during the one hour cocktail hour, and it looked INCREDIBLE! They get 1 star because they provided the rentals. They only get 1 star because they were horrible to deal with. They added thousands of dollars in surprise fees on top of their regular prices. When we questioned those fees, they would talk in circles. E.g. They had a ~$4,000 "waiver fee". When we tried to explain why a waiver fee (essentially a non-refundable damage deposit) wouldn't be necessary here, they said it's actually a fee that "covers a portion of all the preproduction labor". They justify every nonsense fee with more nonsense. They apparently didn't like us questioning the fees, so when we finally accepted their ridiculous prices and tried to pay them, they claimed our card was declined and we had to pay by cash, wire, or other method. They also were very rude, got mad at us, and threatened late fees if we did not pay right away. However, we confirmed with our credit card company that Premiere Party Rents was actually declining our payments without telling us. Once we called them out on this, they said they didn't care and continued to be rude and say we had to pay by a different payment method. We caved as we had no choice - they were the exclusive rental supplier for the venue we booked so they had our wedding as hostage. We talked to and worked with directly with Sandy, the owner. She had a horrible attitude and would ignore questions and not return calls. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid using this company at all costs. read more

I used this company in August of 2020 for my 30th. Communication was fine for my orders and they did a good job of updating the invoice as a item or two was added. Poor communication when it came to running my card. I had emailed to let them know I would be flying in that A.M. into LA and then got a call from someone different than who I was emailing with, who had kids screaming in the background, about how they were unable to authorize my card (it was locked). Not a big deal ,but I had literally just emailed the one and only person who I had conversed with on it several hours before and the person who had called had no clue. Not once was drop off or pick up arranged with me. Nor was I notified. I had to ask whoever it was that called me for payment when exactly was this stuff being delivered. I assumed they were coming on the same window they self selected for pick up the day after the event, but nope. It was just whenever they could get there that day, which meant that I had to wait around for 8 hours while all the people in the house for my birthday went to the beach. They sent 3 of the slowest delivery men to unload/reload our items. I still tipped, but it was ridiculous how 2 of the men did absolutely nothing, while one did everything. Also was informed from a friend who works events that it was pretty tacky for us to have to clean all the plates and glasswares. Not sure if this is a thing or not, but please note when using this company. The only thing they sent us that was wrong was for one of our table linens was the wrong fit, otherwise everything was there and accounted for. All in all this event company is mediocre. I thought their pricing was fair. They need and could communicate way better between the two women I spoke too. It is kind of unacceptable to be at their beck and call for pick ups on MY EVENT and kind of low to wait until after people pay to decide when on day of delivery you are going to deliver. I would recommend this company, BUT make sure time of delivery and drop off are arranged before hand. I have worked with this organization in the past. Today, by error, I did not send required paperwork. My assistant showed up to pick up our order and was embarrassed by the owner herself when we realized we didn't have proper paper work. She said "well you can give your card but your on the hook if something happens to this?" I was appalled by the way she addressed him. He said her tone and demeanor was unbelievably common and unprofessional. As a Hispanic educated male, he was able to read all paper work given to him. When I told the owner how that feels as a person of color, she lessened it, got defensive, and then in turn canceled our order. I would never want someone to be treated how he was and I do not recommend that people support her discriminatory practices. Just my two cents. We just had our wedding two weeks ago, and I really recommend Premier Party Rents! We did not hire a wedding planner (which means we didn't know what we were doing most of the time!), and the owner, Sandy, was always patient with all my questions, and always helpful with all aspects of the wedding -- like where to order ice delivery (which saved me $150) One might think that choosing linen and napkins are easy tasks, but I found it to be very stressful process because I really couldn't be sure how everything would come together with centerpiece, candles, etc. I went in to the store twice, and Sandy pulled out a table each time, and brought out different color linens and napkins and helped me figure out the right combination. Three days before our wedding, we got hit with a definitive forecast for rain... at our entirely outdoor wedding. Now call us foolish for gambling on a sunny day in LA at the end of May, but the bottom line was we were screwed if we didn't find some sort of shelter for our guests. Now clearly we weren't the only gamblers that weekend, because EVERY vendor we talked to either had no tents available, or were quoting us up the WAZOO for tent rentals. Enter Premiere, who came in clutch to allow us to use their tent last minute at our venue. Now granted, they already had the tent there for an event the day before ours, but the 5 star review comes from the fact that they were VERY responsive to our situation, quick to respond and so accommodating to our needs. The safety measure paid off more than we could imagine. The tent alone added a level of aesthetic majesty we didn't anticipate -- guests couldn't stop commenting on how awesome it looked. And when it did end up pouring rain during our cocktail hour, there were only smiles as guests huddled underneath the massive tent, in good spirits and well-protected. Premiere provided great chairs and supplies for our June wedding in Malibu, but the poor communication and last minute price changes really shocked me. We booked Premiere about 9 months out from our wedding date and things seemed to be fine up until a few weeks before. We had our walkthrough, and Steph was friendly and easy to work with. But suddenly, Sandy came in at the 11th hour, two weeks before the wedding, with an email to tell us that they had raised prices, and sent us a new invoice with higher prices by nearly $1000. When we asked for a detailed breakdown, she sent us a testy response saying gas and labor cost more now (which we are all aware of, and all bearing the cost of), and seemed indignant we would ask for an explanation. She also said they now had a minimum of $10,000 for our location, which was difficult to load in and needed extra staff (this was also news to us). A few days later, she said they had a $12k minimum at our location, contradicting her earlier email, and acted like we were getting this great deal - again, all new information given to us less than 2 weeks before the wedding date. She also asked for payment immediately, and gave us conflicting due dates for that. It was all very confusing, but also felt like extortion when we were so close to our wedding date and could not have reasonably found another vendor so last minute. All of this could have been mitigated with clearer communication from the beginning and reasonable compromise. We are pretty reasonable people and not stingy in the slightest, but were genuinely put off by Sandy's attitude and last minute up-charging. The actual workers on site and setup day-of were great, but I would recommend going with a different vendor for your wedding who will give you clearer communication and pricing. read more

I rented a little over 100 items from this company for my sister's baby shower and each and every piece was dirty. The peacock chair was so filthy the dirt was caked up on it as of it hadn't been cleaned in months and had been sitting. The lavender Harper sofa and chair had visible stains everywhere. We ordered 88 resin chairs and those were filthy as well. There were feet marks and dirt everywhere. The tables still had plastic covers attached to the bottom so clearly nothing was cleaned and checked prior to renting and being delivered. I called the company Saturday after delivery no answer. They did not deliver on time so I wasn't there when the order was delivered. I tried calling Sunday morning the day of the baby shower no answer. I had my son and a few of his friends clean the chairs down as best they could. At that point I had no choice but I refused to use the sofa and chair so I put it away in the garage. Monday I finally get in touch with Kristen assures me she was going to have her mama get call me. The shower was Sunday, May 22nd. The manager finally emails back mid June to offer 15% off the resin chairs only. again resin chairs were cleaned by my son and a couple of his friends. Our invoice was a little over $1800. Don't be fooled by the images on the website. I was fooled and also treated poorly. This company doesn't care about quality or it's customers. I was told that the stains and dirty chairs were regular wear and tear. So this is what you rent out to your customers? NOT ACCEPTABLE! read more

We had our wedding at the Houdini Estate this June 2018, and we couldn't have been happier with this company. They were super affordable and offered everything we needed in order to make our event perfect. I really hate leaving bad reviews. Everyone has off days and coming from customer service, I can understand when they happen. That being said, Premier Party Rents gets a bad review from us. We had to use them as an exclusive vendor for rentals for our recent wedding and they just all around sucked to work with. Here's why: 1. Unresponsiveness. It took several prompts almost every time we'd email them before we got a response. Most of the time it was simple questions but it always took a while to get a response. 2. Their attitudes. We received a fair amount of attitude when making requests that we felt were pretty standard. It felt like it was a burden for them to help us - which maybe it was but I don't think we were asking anything unreasonable. 3. Their sketchiness. Now this is a big one for us. On the rental agreement there was a 10% "Waiver Fee" attached. When we asked about it via email, we got no response, but answers to other questions. When we asked about it directly with no other questions, we got no response at all. We asked directly about that specific fee at least three times, each time without receiving anything in writing. Super sketchy. Fees just for the sake of fees? C'mon. 4. The rentals themselves. Now I know this stuff gets used, but a lot of the silverware, chairs, and space heaters were pretty beat up. When you're planning a wedding and literally everything else looks perfect, it really detracts when the chairs are scuffed, the silverware looks bad, and the heaters look like they're about to fall apart. Again, I feel pretty bad leaving this but I feel it's important for those who have to work with Premier in the future. Know what you're getting into. read more

I feel like I was part of a 'bate-and-switch' . I called Premier Party Rentals needing glassware for a work dinner that I was putting on in two days time. The host had many more reservations than first expected, realized that we would be short on wine glasses and so we needed to find around 120 more for the dinner (60 wine, 60 champagne). On the positive side, when I called, the customer service girl was very nice and accommodating. I knew the request was last minute, but she checked and said that they DID have the wine glasses available for me, and that I would be able to pick them up at their warehouse on the day that I needed. Quoted me a price. Sent me a confirmation invoice. Done! Or so I thought. No mention of them needing to confirm inventory or that their orders were on a 'first come, first serve basis.' I received a call this morning (the day before my event) saying that they had 'checked inventory' and now the wine glasses that they had confirmed for me were NOT available, BUT they would be happy to rent me different ones at a higher price! She said that their rentals are on a first come, first serve basis and that things often change after they 'check inventory'. It would have been nice to know when placing my order, that I may, in fact, have to have a backup plan OR have to budget more for glassware just in case they don't have their numbers right. And I had know way of knowing that I was further down on the rental order list and was subject to 'bumping'. If I did, I would have had a back up plan to prevent the last minute panic that I'm in now! When I asked if there was anything they could rent me that would honor the original price that they quoted (I would have taken lower quality, smaller glasses etc.) the answer was no. Plenty of other rental places out there. I will go elsewhere. read more

Without hesitation, I give this business 5 stars. I will use this company again. Our party for 120 people went off flawlessly thanks to Premiere. They helped me pull it all together, from the color of the linens, to the twinkle lights, and decorations. I thought having the tent in one location would work, Sandy suggested a different location at our home, and thank goodness she did, because she was right. We had a band, dance floor, caterers, and 12 tables. Placement was so important, their ideas were outstanding, and fit perfectly! We had a slide show, we were going to put up a huge screen. Our problem, the party started at 4:00, it didn't get dark for 4 hours. When I asked Premiere what I can do so you can see the slide show, they suggested flat screen TV'S. That was the answer! They weren't always as quick to respond as I would have liked but I understand that I was probably more nervous than them since they do this for a living! this is their new location. old location was on Washington between Inglewood and Centinela. yeah, that one. same nice people working at this one though. located on the back side of Century, in the warehouse section where the airline contractors have offices and stuff. lots of semi-truck traffic around but the "streets" are pretty wide. i called on Saturday morning needing 16 white chairs for a dinner Sunday night. amazingly, they had some available for the weekend before Christmas! sweet! i picked them up later that morning. 99cents/chair. The challenge was the flooring because my mom's backyard slants and I was very nervous about whether we'd be able to have the flooring, which I really wanted. Easy to talk to by email, phone, and in person. My fiance (at the time) and I needed to rent tableware (china, stemware, silverware and napkins) for our outdoor wedding. After browsing their website we visited their location to see the items in person. They answered all of our questions and showed us the items we thought about renting. We liked what we saw and they prepared an invoice for us. Later we made some modifications to our rentals and were all set to go. We chose to pick up the rentals ourselves rather than have them delivered and found everything packed securely into containers.
