Staff was friendly however that's where the good experience stopped. My six year old son needed staples in his head for a baseball injury and the Dr. did a terrible job. I've had constant contact with trauma victims for many years and have never seen such a basic wound repaired this way. A wound that needed two staples but ended up with four; one of which was hanging off the side of my sons had the next day. I mentioned it to the doctor immediately and was corrected by him even though I knew what I had observed regarding it not being applied correctly. Once we arrived at my sons primary care physician's office, they were astonished with what they saw. Unfortunately, the trauma that my son had to endure in order to undo what the first doctor had done was worse than the original injury. Steer clear of this place, if the rest of the physicians at that office are as amateur as the one that treated my son, you don't want anything to do with them! read more

This is the best urgent care I have ever been to. No run arounds I didn't have my insurance card so i had it faxed to them with no issues. The front desk receptionists name is Rita. She was amazing. I was just hoping to get seen I had no idea how impressed I would be by everyone! This is where to go. I saw in their office they have two other locations. He was able to diagnose, apply his professional knowledge and get us in and out in a timely matter. Of course there was a wait, due to the season - however, once you are in, you are in and out quickly. I'm giving this 2 stars because my entire experience wasn't horrible. But my interaction with Brenda the receptionist or MA or whatever she is was less than pleasurable. Prior to coming in I called to see if they accept my insurance. Brenda answered and told me she had no way to check and I need to contact my insurance company to confirm, which I did. While I was on the phone with my insurance company they offered to call the urgent care to confirm my eligibility to receive care. I agreed and was placed on hold. When the agent returned to the phone she advised me she spoke with BRENDA and confirmed my eligibility. So I decided to come in. As soon as I walked in I handed the other MA (who was incredibly kind and pleasant) my insurance information. Brenda looked over her shoulder and said " no we don't take that." I advised her that my insurance agent called and spoke with Brenda to confirm that it was accepted. The MA that was incredibly kind advised me they'd run my card to see if they accepted it. As I walked away to sit down Brenda said "nobody called about that insurance." She was incredibly rude and had a terrible attitude. She was not personable at all. The doctor wasn't so bad. He did cut me off while I was explaining my symptoms but I understand that he had multiple patients that needed to be seen. All in all I think I'll find a different urgent care that my insurance accepts the next time I need to be seen for a non emergent situation. read more

The nurses or whatever they call them selves apparently are bored since I can hear them talking about there kids, what happened the night before and what tv shows to watch. I broke my tibia on Christmas day and went in to urgent care the day after Christmas. The urgent care I went to was too full and sent me to premium urgent care.Even though they were also very busy I had less than a 15 minute wait Before I was in the room getting x-rays! The wait wasn't that bad. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think that the seating area need some rearranging. I think that for a place that has sick people coming in, they shouldn't be sitting so close together. There is so much room to spread out the chairs!! So impressed with this Urgent Care. I took my 6 year old daughter in the other night and was so glad I did. The whole facility is extremely clean, I've been to plenty and this was by far the cleanest. The staff was welcoming and prompt. My daughter was seen in 20 minutes. The best part was we had been going to her primary care for this unresolved issue and he could never diagnose her or cure her. On Tuesday we saw Dr. Green here at Premium and she was diagnosed and two days later her problem is significantly improving. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends! read more

My primary physician couldn't see me until 3 weeks out and I was super annoyed. However, a friend recommended this place. I went in on a weekday afternoon just before 3:00 and was in and out in about 45 minutes. The receptionist was very kind and compassionate and Dr.Green was awesome. He and his staff truly went above and beyond for me. Not to mention, the facility itself was extremely nice and modern. I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend Dr. Green. I would much rather come here than go see my primary physician and plan to do so. read more

The only negative comment I would have would be about the online appointment process. I scheduled an appointment online before 9AM. The appointment was for 1:30PM and I had not received a phone call or email (as stated online) to confirm the appointment by 12:45. When I called, the receptionist confirmed the appointment and apologized. My husband and I have both used this urgent care several times. The staff is always professional and courteous. I'm sure the Dr's are great however the girls in front office could use some training. I took my son in this evening at 5:00 and because they close at 5:15 they wouldn't see him. Mind you the waiting room had one lady sitting there. I wouldn't be writing this negative review if the girls had just a little bit of compassion. I walked in and two girls were sitting there on their phones and she said we close in 15 minutes and they weren't taking any patients. She didn't even take her eyes off her phone. I said he's really sick and you don't close for another 15 could you please see him? All I got was a head shake no. Girls.. you are working in healthcare and people are coming to you because they are sick or someone in their family is sick. They need your help. Stay off your phone and have some compassion. If you don't like helping people your in the wrong field. My first experience here was a sports physical and that was amazing.. but it was organized with my sons HS and I didn't have to interact with anyone other than the Dr. I don't expect to go back... I'll drive the extra 2 miles and go to Peachwood Urgent Care. read more

They mistreated my husband saying he just had stomach gas. They took an X-ray of and told him he was fine. Sent him on his way with nothing! Well now after going to a Primary care doctor...that X-ray they took was of his spine. HAD NOTHING to do with his stomach pains NOR showed them anything they would need to see to treat his pains! His PC doc said that X-ray was useless. Now days later getting a CT scan because that so called "stomach gas" is beyond worse! Going to the ER would have been better then going to this urgent care! My PC doctor and the ER are just about all we will trust! This urgent care was a waste of time and just took our money! Very disappointed. They may be convenient that they are open late and if someone needs someone on a Sunday. But if that's the case make sure it's not for anything other than a bandaid on a cut!! read more

They are extremely slow. Good people socially but they don't value your time at all. I got here before they opened. Was second in line. Person before me just needed a sign off so I was essentially the only one there and all I needed was a physical. I sat for an hour and fifteen while they socialized amongst each other. Only one other person showed up while I was there so they were not busy whatsoever. I just don't find the duration of my visit acceptable. read more

It's been a long time since I have been into a medical office that has had that nice of office (front and back) staff. Everyone there is so nice and always in a great mood. I love that in any business but it's a big bonus in a medical office. I'd name all the girls by name if I remembered because each one is just a nice as the other. I have taken both of my kids there for last minute sports physical and they are so helpful with all the paper work. Their sports physicals were also more affordable than others in my area, about half the cost. I will definitely be going there for any Urgent care needs and sports physicals in the future. Was able to make same-day appointment at the Herndon & Fowler location. Process of making appointments online was super easy! Was seen fairly close to when my appointment was scheduled (only 15 minutes after it was supposed to happen), which is more than can be said for some doctor's offices (especially urgent care facilities). The office staff/nurses were so friendly! Everything was explained patiently with smiles abound. The doctor I saw was Green, who really needs to work on his bedside manner. Best urgent care I've ever been too. Front desk was friendly and professional. Practically no wait time in both the waiting room and in the physical room. The nurse and the doctor both took the time to listen to my concerns in how I was feeling and I truly appreciated that. Doctor took his time to really try to figure out the root cause of my problem and even sent for additional testing just to make sure the diagnosis is correct. This doctor went above and beyond. I could not have been more pleased with my impromptu non-medical-emergency-visit while visiting the "metropolis" of Clovis in February, 2018. Although there were 10 others in the waiting room upon my arrival; my walk-in-to-departure (that included registration, insurance, payment, triage, evaluation, diagnosis and departure) was all executed within 75 minutes. Both ladies at reception gave me a genuine warm welcome and turned a usually tedious interaction to a pleasant and smoothly streamlined one. After forms were completed, submitted, insurance verified and co-pay processed, it was about 10 minutes of waiting to be called into triage for the taking of weight (ugh! - I think their scale is off by at least 15 pounds ) vitals and relating my current ailment to the nurses that was then followed by going into a patient room for evaluation by a medical provider. Somehow, with my luck of the draw, James Minton MD entered the room with a warm smile and gentle handshake. Immediately, through his mannerisms and tone, I was put at ease and felt reassured that I was going to be heard and in-turn received top-notch medical care. He has an inexplicable aura of compassion that is rarely felt much less seen is general as well as by myself since I've had a chronic illness for the past 18 years and believe me, I've seen all makes and kinds of doctors from Mayo Clinic, Stanford, UCLA, KU, and USC medical centers to country doctors in Kansas, Missouri, Texas as well as throughout the south and in the brief interaction I had with Dr. Minton, he definitely ranks among the top 5 that I have encountered. I sincerely appreciate that Dr. Minton listened to me as well as exhibited true heartfelt compassion towards my health in addition to my current home situation (caring for a terminal, elderly father). To me, when it comes to medical care, there is absolutely nothing more rewarding than such serendipitous physician-visit such as the one I experienced today. I recommend Premium Urgent Care without reservation and trust your visit will go as well if not better than mine. This is urgent is a joke! It doesn't have a lab or any abilities to test stool samples or get a CBC. Anything that is a minor scrape or little thing is referred out to other doctors or to the ER, which costs more money. With all the urgent cares there are out there now, I would highly recommend staying away from this Urgent Care. Dr. Green doesn't seem very knowledgable and seems just to get the patients out quickly! What a joke of an urgent care. Heed my warning and stay away!!! read more

I was able to make a same day appointment at the Clovis location. Every single person I dealt with was extremely polite & professional. I can't send enough praise their way. When I was back in the exam room, I was told I was going to have to get a shot (or a few) and shots are my biggest fear. Sadly, I am in my 30's and am still scared of them. The PA that I saw, Shawn, was so incredibly kind and patient with me. His bedside manner was one of the best I have ever received. The lady that was assisting him (I wish I had got her name) was very sweet as well. They took their time with me & made sure I understood what was going on & again they were very sympathetic to my fear of needles. I truly can not thank them enough for how kind they were. They made my sister & me smile and put me at ease. I had to go back for a follow up the next day and I saw Shawn again. Again, I can't say enough nice things about him & how he deals with his patients. I wish I could give this place more than five stars, I truly think they deserve it. From the people that take care of you up front to the people that take care of you in the exam rooms, they were all friendly and very professional. I was in so much pain & one of the ladies at the front desk looked at me and told me she could see that I was in pain & she was so sorry I was hurting. This place is so great, I wish this was our primary care provider! I ended up here because our doctor died, and then his backup is out of order til March. Dr. Green is super friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room was VERY clean, the rooms were very clean (unlike the third world atmosphere of our primary care provider - where I'm afraid to go because it's like, who knows what you're going to catch lol). The staff, especially James, was super friendly and nice! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes!
