I decided to pick up some prepared meals for my son and I as we continue our journey to a healthier lifestyle. A new Prep'd location (NW OKC) opened close to me, so I decided to give it a try. Prior to my arrival, I had numerous items selected from the website. When I got to the store I was greeted by no one. When a young lady, Ashley (tall-ish, long dark hair and dark glasses) came out I asked if she could help me with the selected items I had chosen from the website and I was new to theit location. She was extremely short and basically barked out from behind the register which refrigerator the items were in. She made me very embarrassed and humiliated and was no help whatsoever. Why Prep'd would employ someone with such a lack of inter personal communication skills and customer service is beyond me. Having been in a professional corporate sales and service career for a Global company, I can assure you there is most definitely a training opportunity there. I will NOT be returning to that particular location again. However, I HAVE had a good experience with the Yukon location. I would recommend that location but definitely NOT NW OKC! Do better NW OKC. read more

The food is really good. It is easy to customize your orders. They also have pre-made meals you can drop in and pick up.

I've been waiting to try a few more of their meals to write a well rounded review, and I think I've decided that three awesome meals are good enough. I've had the salmon with veggies and rice, the turkey meatloaf with sweet potatoes, and the ground turkey burrito with guac and pico. The salmon was my first meal. It was seasoned perfectly and held up better in the microwave than I thought it would. The only downside is that I found a small bone hiding in the salmon. Last week, I had the turkey meatloaf and the burrito for two separate lunches. It was a busy week, and I had been eating a lot of junk food. So I decided for Thursday and Friday to get my lunch at Prep'd. The meatloaf was my favorite meal! You couldn't tell it was turkey. It was delicious. The sweet potatoes were a little too sweet for me. They tasted like pumpkin pie without the crust. The burrito was also fantastic. The meals are more expensive than you would pay if you ate fast food for lunch, by obviously MUCH more healthy. I think it is definitely with the cost when you have a week where you are too busy to worry about lunch. The extended hours also make it easy to pick up a meal before or after work. read more

I love Prep'd and the convenience of quick fast healthy options. It's been my go to for years. My only complaint would be that a lot of times you will stand at the counter waiting to be checkout because everyone is in the back. I don't feel it's my responsibility as a customer to have to walk back to the kitchen to alert the staff that I would like to pay for my items. Sometimes I've stood as long as 10 minutes. Looking up at the camera, reopening and closing the door I hope that will trigger some alert to notify the staff, they have a customer. And several times, I've simply put my items back and left because I just don't have the time to wait. I don't know if a bell, a bull horn or a air horn left on the counter would be a helpful way for your customers to notify the staff that they are eagerly waiting to hand over their money. read more

Today was my first day to try out the food and the store. The food is great and the owner was there and super friendly. Only down fall my wife would like heating instructions on the container. 2.30 in the microwave dinner was done! I got the smaller meal and I barely finished it. So much food for under 400 calories. Really wanted to love this place, when they first opened their food was excellent, but the longer it's been open the lazier the cooks have become. The sweet potatoes are never cooked through, the chicken went from tender to tough, and the vegetables are always hard now. read more

This place has been my go to over the last year that I have lived in the area and will continue to be! I don't leave a ton of reviews but recently I had a small issue that they handled wonderfully. I tried to make an online order from my DoD work computer that often causes issues. The order went through but they did not receive it properly and it wasn't ready when I showed up to pick it up. I left my name and number and promptly received a call from the owner who apologized thoroughly and ensured my order would be ready the following day. To make up for it, the owner even threw in some extra goodies! If you are tracking macros and want easy, tasty food then this is the place! read more

I just picked up my first online order and I have to say I'm very pleased. The food tastes fresh, not some frozen microwaveable meal for the super market or something. The meal packages show the amount of protein, carbs, fat and Calories that you are consuming making it very easy to track your intake. I will be returning for many more meals. read more

A little confused on what is going on with your store these past few months. Came in a few weeks ago and your refrigerators were empty. You had maybe 2 of 6 meals total from your website in one single refrigerator. Out of the 64 items on your website this just should not even be acceptable. Today I pulled into the parking lot and your staff was sitting in the side room with their feet propped up on the table conversating. After I got out of my car and went into the store it was last months issue all over again. Maybe 6-7 items in the refrigerators. When I asked about Keto meals (you have 10 on your website) the associate informed me that you do not put Keto meals in the fridge but that I can remove the rice from the meals and that makes it Keto. So, she basically told me to buy the whole meal and pay for the whole meal but remove some food and I should be good. I guess now I just ask what is going on with your store? Are you lacking in food items? You are definitely lacking in customer service. After years of going here and being satisfied I will now look for somewhere else farther away with the items actually listed on their menu and better customer service. read more

I have eaten almost everything on the menu except seafood, and all the meals are great! I work long hours and am not able to cook most days. Finding Prep'd was a lifesaver! I love that is healthy and fresh (not frozen!) and it's already packaged in a to-go plastic container (which re-useable also!) so I can just grab and go for work. Just pop in the microwave and it's ready! I also appreciate all the calories, protein, carbs, weight of food, and fats are identified in a label. You can walk in and choose meals, or order online and pickup. If you order online, you get a 10% discount which is fantastic! My husband and I have been wanting to try a place like this for a long time. There are options online that gets shipped to us. But I just don't like the idea of food being shipped to us. But Prep'd is local so we are able to go to the actual store and see all the options. We got a giftcard from our personal trainers. So we got about 11 meals. We love it so far. We are very busy and normally eat out and healthy options are very few. We have tried several of the meals so far and it is pretty tasty. Most of the meals are made fresh daily and last about a week before they expire. So we plan on picking up our weekly meals every Sunday and it will last us until Saturday. If you are someone that has to watch your calories, carb, or protein intake, each meal has all this listed along with the expiration date on the meal container. We will continue to get meals here! When we were in the store, they guy working said they are planning on add refrigerated kiosk in Edmond soon, so if you don't live in Yukon, you will still have access to Prep'd meals. read more
