I finally stopped in a few months ago, after hearing all the rave about this place! Well, it definitely lives up to the hype, in my opinion. I decided to stop by after karate one Saturday afternoon, say dojo is in Midvale. I got to meet the owner, Derrick (sp?). We chatted about teas and options. It was super hard for me to choose because I enjoy tea... and boba! Derrick helped me choose, and even gave me a sample of the avocado smoothie he made, which reminded me of a treat my grandma used to make me... totally Asian! I came back on another occasion, and I totally tried to get a job as security in the shop! lol. I've been back a few times and have enjoyed the variety of teas I have tried. With Chinese New Year 2026 celebrating the Year of the Horse, it felt like the perfect moment to treat myself to something refreshing and energizing. I ordered the classic Black Pearl Tea with pudding this time, and it really hit the spot. The boba had that perfect "QQ" chew, soft, springy, and satisfying, and the tea itself was nicely caffeinated without being bitter. A great drink to kick off the new year with a little extra pep. I didn't order any food on this visit, but the mini pot pies on the menu definitely caught my eye. I'm planning to try them next time. They have so many options for different types of tea-my personal favorite is the hot fruit tea. Well, I like it hot in the winter when it's cold outside. You can also customize your drink by adjusting the sweetness level. It's great for those that want a sweeter drink. I appreciate that the owner or manager is super involved. When I was placing my order, he came over to the counter and suggested an alternate drink (same price, not trying to upsell me) based on what was more popular and better tasting. I opted to take his recommendation and was thrilled with it. It was the signature fruit tea, and I was originally going to order the summer fruit tea. I was in the neighborhood and decided to try this place. When going inside it was a cute looking cafe. There are egg chairs around for you to sit and get comfy. If you're with a group highly recommend the tables and chairs. There's a kiosk for you to order. I think you might be able to order with someone too but I'm not sure. There's a lot of stuff on there that was new, but a lot of familiar stuff there too. I got the winter melon tea. The boba was alright. It is very plain and wasn't mixed with sugar like other places. I wish I knew that earlier so I could have adjust my sweetness to match that. One surprising thing about this is that there are sweet chunks of winter melon in this drink. It gave it a whole new texture that I wasn't expecting. The winter melon tea was alright. I think this place is alright. I would get it if I'm in the area. A great place! Many places to sit, a great atmosphere, upbeat music. Service was decently quick, they were offering help to answer any questions, and they made my drink perfectly. I was really surprised by the number of options here. The drink specials all looked amazing but I had to go with the peach oolong (a classic, can never go wrong). I had the option to add coconut cream to it! Delicious and even more tropical. Most importantly, they really know what 30% sweet is. I have to watch my sugar intake for health issues and they gave me a delicious tea that wasn't too sweet. Awesome! I was pleasantly surprised to find that Presotea has so many drinks to offer - from coffee, fruit tea, milk tea, coffee, smoothies, and more! There is something for everyone. I decided on a Matcha Milk tea with fresh, organic milk and 70% (less) sweet with lychee jelly. It was delicious! Good enough to study or stop after dinner. Ordered at a kiosk with text updates. Apparently my drink would be a 10-15 minute wait. The entire store had their drinks before me. Visiting from California! I frequent their South Bay location and it's part of my top boba stores in Los Angeles. Decided to visit Utah for a 1 week ski trip and learned that they also have a Presotea here! There are some exclusive drinks that I haven't seen in my local location like Peppermint Milk Tea, Pumpkin Spice Milk Tea, etc. I went with the latter and am glad I did. It has the consistency of your typical Presotea milk tea with a pumpkin spice flair. I would definitely visit again to try the other exclusive drinks. Great to know that my favorite milk tea chain is here in SLC! This place is bomb dot com. It's a hip and modern franchise ran by friendly and community centered owners that are obviously passionate about what they do and what Presotea is. Learning the reason why bubble tea got its name, the sustainability goals for the company, the fact that they receive daily deliveries from a local bakery for pastries, it's obvious that community matters. There's a lot of popular milk tea and boba spots, and many of them are definitely worthy of the popularity! But don't sleep on Presotea. They can keep up with the heavies just fine. From the warm and excellent customer service to the fact that you get body slammed with a genie cloud of delicious scents right when you open the doors to go inside, Presotea has definitely caught my attention and seems keen on keeping it! I tried three drinks today. The Thai Milk Tea is a MUST for those who enjoy a classic Thai tea, but want it enhanced with boba pearls! The Lychee Strawberry Slush is a surefire knockout if you're a glutton for cold fruity deliciousness (fun fact, the fruit for the fruit drinks are either actual fresh fruit or fruit purée) and absolutely worth the experience. Lastly, for the coffee geeks, the Flan Cafe Frappe is an excellent cold coffee beverage and I highly recommend adding the Crème Brûlée topping to it! I ended up getting the Thai milk tea without the condensed milk and an alternative milk instead. Fabulous is the only way to describe it! Their hojicha options had a stronger taste, but we liked them. Peach Oolong Milk Tea is my all-time favorite. Amiable staff, patient and sweet. I'm leaving a 4 instead of a 5 because their milk teas tend to be bland, and sometimes they taste like they were watered down. Some drinks are too sweet, even with 30% sugar, and some are tasteless with 30% sugar. Their boba quality is not consistent. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's saggy. read more

One of my favorite boba shops in the Salt Lake area! I am so happy that Presotea opened in Utah! They use freshly-brewed tea blends and fresh ingredients! You can really taste the tea in each of their drinks. I have been here since they soft opened and have been coming almost weekly for their boba drinks. My favorites here are the mango fruit tea (which comes with agar boba), and the A-Li Shan milk tea. Their milk tea can also be made hot, which is good for the cold weather! I get 0% sweetness for all my drinks and I personally like Presotea's sweetness level, their 0% sweet is truly 0% in my opinion, so I can really enjoy the tea taste. I've visited Presotea multiple times since my first visit. My service has always been stellar, and my drinks have been really great. What I will say is their decaf tea options are limited, which is important to me as I'm staying away from caffeine while expecting (and I don't love fruity drinks). And I would advise extra ice if you like your cold drinks cold, because the boba pearls are hot and seem to bring the drink temperature WAY up. I saw this cool little place after going to a movie at the Century Theaters across the street. It's located less than a 1 minute walk, so I stopped in after my show. I didn't know what to expect because the name is so funky and weird, but turns out this is a tea and coffee shop. The employees were SUPER friendly and welcoming, they were actually eager to have a customer and explained everything about the business and the menu. Since it's primarily a tea house, I decided to order an iced tea. I selected a peach oolong from the sample box, and waited. The menu is needlessly complicated, with a lot of different options for additions, styles of tea, and add-ins. I just wanted a plain iced tea, and the expansive menu made me feel sort of weird for ordering it that way instead of some elaborate concoction. My tea was ready quickly, and it had a nice greenish / amber tint. Not too strong, not too weak. I was surprised at how bitter my tea was, however. I make oolongs at home several times a week, and the trick to eliminating bitterness is a proper brewing time and temperature. I think a tea shop ought to have that down to an exact science. I only ended up drinking half of my very expensive, small cup of iced tea. My tea was served in a tall, skinny plastic cup with a neat seal on top that you puncture with a straw. Sort of fun and funky, just like the vibe of the place. The interior is modern and chic, but also comfortable and welcoming. I could see this being a cool place to hang out. There were a few yummy looking baked goods for sale for cheap (like $1.50 for a huge croissant). I didn't try anything, but the prices on food items were reasonable. I also didn't try the espresso, and I'm sort of glad I didn't because the tea wasn't that great. This place is new so I'll be sure to visit again and try some different menu items. I just can't bring myself to rate Presotea lower than 4 stars, even though the bitter tea would in reality knock it down to a 2 or 3, but the people working there were just SO friendly! They truly made me feel like family the second I stepped in the door. That's worthy of a couple of stars right there. read more

Stumbled onto this cute gem when I was in the area and of course thanks to Yelp I did! I often look for places to eat/try out with Yelp recommendations and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the dirty milk tea with boba and cheese foam, 100% sugar, and my friend ordered the taro milk tea - both were really fantastic, probably the best I've had in a really really long time! This one wasn't officially on the menu (dirty milk tea) so I described what it was and they handcrafted this themselves just for me - it was SPOT ON. Met the owner, Derrick, and a couple of his staff. Super friendly and just a really down-to-earth kind of guy. Turns out he's from the Bay Area (Cali) so he's legit in knowing how to craft these drinks/concoctions. His version of Vietnamese coffee is AUTHENTIC and probably the best I've ever tasted! I did earl grey milk tea with oat milk and pearls. I love that you can customize sweetness and ice level and my 50% sweetness was perfect. Great, fresh boba pearls, fragrant tea, well made!
