Had an americano here this weekend and wowsers, I was buzzing for hours! haha... It was delicious and smooth, and piping hot! I hate when my americano is really warm. =/ Reasonable pricing. The place was darn near full of students (its very near ASU and apartments are attached) on laptops, so it would be hard with a group of more than 2 to meet here. They could use an extra couch for those that want to chat and not work. There is a parking lot and it was easy to access. No complaints! read more

Jimmy brings passion for great coffee and happy customers to a whole new crew here. The vibe makes me want to stay a long time to read or study or to meet a friend for a long chat on the cozy couch. If you come in for a cup make sure you took behind the counter for a second and check out the espresso machine. It's a thing of beauty even before it's used to make you a perfect latte. Been coming here on and off for 3 years and have never had a negative experience. I really like this location because music is always good and at a pleasant volume and the atmosphere feels conducive for being able to do hours of reading or work if thats your thing. The staff that is working is always pretty good (ive been to a few locations). The staff from 2-3 yrs ago at this location were next level and probably stole me from being a starbucks person, i felt like they wanted to be my friend it was cool, but the staff currently is always really nice too. My husband and I went for a walk and decided to stop by this place as it was his birthday and he received a free coffee coupon from them via email. When he said he'd like to use his coupon, she not only didn't say "happy birthday", but also didn't even smile and gave my husband a surprising "oh". Then he was generally treated like a homeless person for using a coupon. We eventually ended up buying a $5 coffee, because the free coffee was only tiny, super sour drip coffee. Even the $5 was not very good. We won't be back. If you don't want to give people free coffee, don't send coupons! It's tasteless. read more

Great coffee with an immaculate modern interior using high-grade architectural materials. They have choices when it comes to what coffee beans you want, which is pretty nice. The coffee is fantastic. The restrooms were very clean and very nice. Will definitely return. One thing I wish I could see are more tables with outlets for laptops etc. The outlets were only at a couple of locations which were occupied quickly. We would have stayed longer, and probably order a sandwich, but our computers were losing power so we had to stop studying early. read more

I come here often and they always tell me they offer free refills but I never get them. So today I brought my coffee cup back that I bought this morning and they said they don't offer refills on cold brew I was very disappointed that the employee this morning lied to me. Well I end up buying a new coffee. It would be nice if they change that in the future or don't give customers a misunderstanding. Just stopped into this unassuming location just off of ASU's campus. It is in an apartment building as the commercial storefront. This had me a bit skeptical, but it was convenient from my hotel and I stopped in. Wow. There are 2 espressos than you can choose from, one south america and one african. I went with the african (ethiopia). This was one of the better ethiopian's I've had. excellent fruit forward coffee. I then had a pour over from Kenya and it is damn smooth. Very good shop and very unassuming. Definitely a place you'll want to check out. read more

This is literally one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. The staff is always so friendly and the inside is super welcoming and comfortable. I noticed they recently added more seating/bigger tables to accommodate the afternoon study crowd which is so considerate. The coffee is bang on and really really good. Also very reasonably priced. I usually get a large cappuccino to drink while I'm there and then a cold brew to go. The coffee is smooth and not over roasted. The cold brew is my favorite cold brew of any place I've been. So glad that this Press just opened up in Tempe! I've been to the Scottsdale one a few times and have always had a great experience. The location is kind of odd, except I kind of loved that about it! It wasn't too busy or hard to get to! Just a lil' random. But seriously, what a perfect spot to stop in, get some work done & grab a delicious coffee. This morning I came in and had no idea what to get. Luckily the two gentlemen working here were very patient and helpful. I love this place. Cartel is right down the street but I find myself coming here on my lunch breaks. I've had the cold brew, a burrito and the nitro cold brew on tap. All of it has been great. This place can get really busy but it's usually pretty quiet. read more

Stopped in for a meeting and had a delicious Chemex Ethiopian pour over. Staff was very kind and informative and helped me decide. It was great. I've visited this location a couple times and it's been great! They have a pretty large selection of roasts from different countries which is refreshing, and they are constantly updating and switching up what they have. The baristas are kind and helpful--I do not get a pretentious vibe at all! Lol. I have only had good experiences here, just ahvet found a drink/food that has blown me away (reason for four stars), but i'm looking forward to my further experiences! read more
