They put a lot of strawberries and whipped cream on, and the chocolate sauce is deep, dark, and intense, so much so that it almost became a savory element. As for the waffles themselves, I enjoyed the heaviness of the waffle, though my wife did not as much. The only real isse I had was that the waffles were not hot. The waffle was magnificent but the chicken I had changed since my last visit. The chicken before seemed a bit homemade and this new chicken is more like a large frozen chicken nugget which is why I only gave three stars. Stopped in Legacy Foodhall for an after bowling treat. Press Waffle Co. Great choices (sweet and savory) we built our own with ice cream, strawberries, bananas and Nutella. It was good. Waffle was warmed over not super fresh (so a little on the chewy side. The foodhall is chaotic and loud and kinda dirty even at 11pm. I get the appeal, but at the end of the day foodhalls are reimagine foodcourts. If you don't mind hovering to wait for a table and need some variety for your group...could make sense. read more

It was one of the best desserts in DFW back then, and it remains one of the best desserts in DFW even now. What sets their waffles apart is the texture. When I go out, I want to try something that I don't get at home, and this hits the spot. I tried the waffle that was drizzled with a combination of melted Nutella and Cookie Butter, then a layer of sliced strawberries was added, and it was topped with a hefty dose of whipped cream, which was then decorated with more melted Nutella (I presumed). The mixture of ingredients was very tasty. If I were to change anything, it would be to hit the waffle with a heavier dose of the initial melted combo of Nutella and Cookie Butter. That's probably just a personal preference, though. The time that it took to wait for my finished product was reasonable, and the employees were pleasant. The price was a little high for what you get, but I felt like I was paying for a novelty food item, and it wasn't enough to stop me from trying it.
