This waffle spot is located in the new and incredible Legacy Hall! The liege waffles are excellent. Very true to the authentic Belgian waffle as opposed to its American version. There is a lot of substance to them (read: less fluffy, more texture). I had their chicken and waffle and it was amazing! I'm a fan of spicy chicken with waffles. The chicken tenders here were not spicy, but they were very very well seasoned. Also, the syrup with the waffles was thicker and more flavorful than your typical maple syrup. This was a place that I always aimed to check out but never did. During my lunch break, I finally got my waffle on, getting it with nutella, cookie butter, strawberries, and a mountain of whipped cream on top. This is something that could be shareable but I ended up eating it all by myself, hehe. It was pretty good! The waffle was served toasty, crispy on the outside and chewy and dense on the inside. It had a great sweet and salty flavor. I thought the fruit, sauces, and whipped cream would have been too much but it was actually a good combination of flavors. Again this is definitely shareable; if you don't share, you might find yourself going back to work and falling into a food coma. I've come back a few times for a quick snack, in which I get the waffle pop, which is a small waffle that can be served with your choice of a sauce. I usually get the cookie butter sauce. This shop is located at the Legacy Food Hall. Customer service is good most times. However, sometimes I see the same guy tired and exhausted and it shows when you order from him, in which he lets off to be a little.. not friendly. My favorite waffle place, waffles a made fresh and there's variety of ways you can eat your waffle so it's definitely not boring at all. The chicken and waffle is my favorite, the sweet and salty flavors work really well together and the chicken is really delicious. The American waffle is also a good one, it's a breakfast waffle with eggs, cheese and bacon. It's really good especially when paired with a cup of coffee or mimosas. Customer service is excellent and the stall is clean. Also always get the syrup on the side, the waffle is already sweet so it might be too sweet with the syrup, just a tip. read more

Located in Legacy Hall, I came here for the first time on a Friday night with a friend after dinner. The store itself was pretty small, but the lines moved fast. The staff was incredibly efficient. They took my order and my phone number so they could text me when the order was ready. I ordered the house (totally recommend it especially to split with a friend). It has Nutella, strawberry, cookie butter, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. The waffle was warm and delicious! We took it to the second floor to find seating and it stayed warm. We waited a good thirty minutes to order. It was worth it the first time but I hope the line dies down eventually, or they open up their own shop instead of a stall in Legacy Hall. I had the house, which composed of cookie butter, Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. I don't usually like whip cream but this one was the right amount of sweetness without being too sweet, and very light and airy. There were other flavors as well, that others were ordering, chicken and waffles, monte cristo, etc. so if you don't have a sweet tooth, there are savory options too! I am totally a Waffle Lover and I'll just say i was 100% satisfied with my experience! The Young lady who took my order was very sweet. I did not know that CASH was not accepted and i did not bring a credit card so I had to walk to the kiosk to get a hall pass (exchange your cash for a gift card) and when I returned to the Counter she had already made my waffle so i didn't have to stand back in line:) I ordered the house waffle which was delicious. Happened to be in Plano for a company conference and had an after hours event at the Box garden in the Lagacy hall. Stopped by the Press waffle co to try out their Liege waffle. I grew up in Europe were we have these waffles all over and I have been to Brussels several times and had them from all the major producers (Belguafra, Vitagaufre and so good) I have always been a fan and know what a real liege waffle should taste like. I have also had the waffles here in the states but only a few have been authentic or come close it. I decided to just order a plain waffle which is the way it is eaten in Europe. I shared with my colleague since we already got a crepe from whisk and eggs next door. I wasn't really impressed with the waffles. It was too dense and doughy while missing that authentic texture, flavor and caramelized exterior that I know. Dont get me wrong their waffles are not horrible, they are just not close to the real Liege waffle which is very difficult to duplicate. If you haven't had these waffles in Europe they will taste ok to you especially when piled with some of the variety of sweet toppings they offer. Found this place in the back of the AT&T Discovery District Exchange building when looking for breakfast one morning. Woman at the counter was hard to hear from talking so softly, and when my husband asked where the fountain drink soda dispenser was, we got no response. Turns out it's on the complete other side of the food court (so I would just opt for one of their options they have readily available, which is what we would have done would we have known!) We both got the build your own waffle. The food itself was good - the waffles were fresh and hot, and all the garnishes are sliced right in front of you. Service was relatively quick! Also unclear how to clean up after yourself... there is small trash bins to get rid of the garbage, but no clear sign as where to leave your tray once it is empty, and no other employees around the area to direct us. We just left them right next to the bins. Overall it was good and for a quick breakfast it's a good bite. read more

I've been wanting to try Press Waffle Co. for awhile now. Today was a pretty day to get out and drive up to the legacy food hall to do just that. I tried The Soulman and The Happy Camper. The Soulman is their chicken and waffles and it was SO good. The chicken was fried and seasoned perfectly. The waffle had a little sweetness to it which balanced well with the savory chicken. The Happy Camper was SO good too. I'm such a sucker for both chicken and waffles as well as anything smores related. The Happy Camper starts with their leige waffle and is topped with cookie butter, chocolate syrup and toasted marshmallows. Omg so good.. everything was just as good as I was expecting it to be. I'm definitely making my way back here sooner than later. read more

Drove up to Legacy Hall to try another food joint abd while waiting stopped by here because, let's face it, who doesn't love waffles?!!! I ordered the Happy Camper and the House. WOW!!! Both waffles were DEEEEELICIOUS!!! I don't know what type of batter they use for the waffles, but please don't change the recipe...EVER! Just phenomenal! Both waffles came with Nutella and Cookie Butter. I'm never having another waffle again without those two staples atop, along with the whipped creme of course! Oh and the gentlemen who made the waffles exude great customer service! Next time I'm in the area will definitely try the Southern Belle waffle along with a couple of their savory waffles! If I want a monte Cristo then I should be able to see and smell and taste the meat and cheese inside. I personally need salty to balance out the sweet. That's what a monte Cristo is. My wife had the Elvis and I went with tee Soulman. Totally worth it! Super friendly service, food is delicious and quickly prepared before your eyes. The chicken on the Soulman was savory, nice crunchy skin, and accented the sweetness of the waffle well. Adding candied pecans was a great idea. And who can resist bacon topping? What I appreciate about this place is their flexibility in making any kind of waffle sandwich you can dream up. They also offer coupons or BOGO deals on Facebook if you follow their page which is how I ended up trying them the first time. I went with a friend who happened to be vegetarian, and after not finding any veggie options in the Savory waffles we asked them to make a few swap outs. We settled on the Cristo, but with the turkey and ham removed, leaving just America cheese melted over berry jam. What we got was way better than we expected, a killer combo of flavor, sweet and savory in one waffle! That will easily be my regular from now when I visit this shop! read more

The waffles here aren't quite COOKED to order as they typically have 3-7 cooked waffles sitting around waiting to be topped with Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream but they are MADE to order and the employees seem to take great pride in fixing each order to their customer's delight. On one occasion, I watched an employee place a single blueberry in each of the waffle notches before professionally drizzling chocolate syrup and caramel over the entire piece. Impressive dedication to their craft for sure! The waffles are pretty tasty but I wasn't a fan of the chocolate syrup which I think is Ghiardelli (don't quote me) and a tad too bittersweet for me. I'd prefer an offering of hot fudge and vanilla ice cream on top. Caveat Emptor: Most of the prices on the menu inside Legacy Hall are higher than what is posted on Yelp so do not be surprised to see prices that don't match up with your expectations. If you're from Seattle, Press Waffles compares favorably to Iron Waffles downtown. read more
