The most insulting part: They actually tried to hand me a random, un-ticketed pink short-sleeve shirt as a "substitute"--as if I wouldn't notice they were trying to quiet me with someone else's missing laundry. When I demanded an IOU or a written admission that they lost my property, Davide flat-out refused. It's clear they have zero integrity and no interest in accountability. Whether they are losing clothes through sheer laziness or someone on the inside is helping themselves to the customers' wardrobes, the result is the same: Your expensive clothes will go missing and they will lie to your face about it. First off, the process they use is simple and efficient. I've never had to wait long in line to drop off my stuff, and they'll shoot you a text when it's ready for pickup. I similarly have never had to wait long to pick up my clothes. I've mostly been to Tatum Cleaners for button-up dress shirts and blazers. And once to clean a rug. The amount of time it takes them to take care of business is reasonable, and the prices are reasonable. I've never ran into any issues. That's the type of experience you look for at a dry cleaners.

I would have loved to have had someone reach out as this was a very bad experience. I would love a way to replace the missing towel, the yellowed towel that wasn't yellow when it went in and the two missing pillow cases. And it was not four comforters. They are still in the bags I have it was two comforters. Two blankets. Along with sheets and towels. If everything would have been returned and not returned so wrinkly I had to rehash nearly everything I would likely not have complained about the sticker shock. It was a great system and one reason I trusted them. I no longer live in Arizona, but I recently had a wedding in the area and needed a suit and shirt cleaned. I decided to return to Express Cleaners because of my past experience. I dropped off my clothes Monday afternoon and requested Thursday pickup. I also asked for heavy starch on the shirt. I had a few other items cleaned with the same request. When I returned Thursday afternoon, my order was incomplete and one item was missing. The employee told me to come back the next day. I returned Friday and picked everything up. I trusted the order was correct and did not inspect the items before leaving. When I got back to my hotel, I noticed the shirts were not heavy starch at all. They were very lightly pressed. One red dress shirt also had a stain near the bottom that was not removed. That part is on me for not checking the clothes before leaving the store. I did pay extra for the heavy starch and expected the work to be done correctly. I tried calling the store so they could address the issue, but no one answered the phone. I now live in another state so there is little I can do about it. I am sharing this so others pay close attention when picking up their clothes. Check every item before you leave the counter. The quality and attention to detail were not what I expected based on my previous experience.
