    Acai Superfood Smoothie Bowl
    Evangeline C.

Stumbled upon this place and got a superfood açaí bowl. Lina was extremely knowledgeable and friendly in her service. I tried a few juices and signed up for their loyalty program to earn points and get a free juice shot. The shop is in a nice courtyard where you can people watch and enjoy the açaí bowl at.

Both Lina and Sara are super helpful and patient. They gave me suggestions based on what I was looking for. Told me about becoming VIP and how that could save me money! And got me to try my very first açaí bowl. Pressed is a great place to cop a juice cleanse or your daily dose of greens in a bottle. They have soft serve in açaí, chocolate, and vanilla. They have immunity shots like ginger and most everything (sans açaí bowls, smoothies, and soft serve) is prepackaged and ready to go. So if you're in a rush you'll be done in a flash. I've gone several times and wait time was non existent. I've also gotten juices delivered. Super convenient.

    How juices arrived

This review is regarding shipping, not any store in particular. I ordered a 5 day cleanse. It came in 2 boxes one of which was damaged in shipping so the box had a big hole in it. All of the ice packs were melted and several were broken and leaking gel contents into the box and all over the juice bottles. I was assured by customer service that the juices are safe to consume as long as the bottles are not bloated and are cool to the touch. There were a few bottles that were warm to touch and customer service replaced those for me with a shipment that arrived 3 days later with melted ice packs and warm bottles. I didn't even call customer service again. I decided to take it as a loss. Unfortunately, when I started to o the cleanse it was apparent that many of the juices and protein milks were spoiled. So out of the 5 day cleanse with 5 add on celery juices and shots, I only got 2 days worth of juices that were consumable. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not order from Pressed if you need to have the product shipped to you. They obviously do not know how to package the items so they remain cold and safe to consume.

Pressed Juicy is clean, healthy good but not best. Only come here for convenience, it's close to my yoga studio a few steps away. The mini versions of anything is great, pre or post yoga class as A refreshing fuel source or whenever you want a boost but not too much. Mini freeze are similar to yogurt but healthier, as they offer non dairy and vegan options and cleaner, as it is dispense from the machine, no scooping with dirty hands involved. Only some of the staff are nice, while others are cold and unreceptive not just towards me but others from my class...so unfriendly and chilly just like the freeze they offer!

Will enjoy my açaí bowl. Not many locations have them. Thank goodness for downtown Grand street location. Ingredients açaí, granola, cookie crumbs, strawberries and blueberries. No bananas

I love Pressed Juicery. This location is right near my office so it's super convenient...if you're staying at the Omni or going to Soho Yoga it's right nearby as well. I love the Wellness shots-ginger and lemon make it spicy and help to boost your immune system. I also love their milks, matcha and Green #2. For a real treat try their freeze. It's basically fro yo goes healthy with toppings like nuts and chia seeds and honey. So freaking good! Must try a pressed juice soon if you haven't already!

Love the juices at pressed juicery! I've done the cleanses a few times, they are delicious and so easy to do. They also deliver if you live in downtown! I also tried their new freezes for the first time - and they are so delicious + guilt free. My weakness is ice cream and now I can replace it with the juice freezes. All 4 flavors are so good!

Pressed Juicery is well known for its juices, cleanses, and freeze. While I personally don't think I could ever do a juice cleanse, I am a fan of the Freeze here! Pressed Freeze is made of real fruits and veggies, without dairy and processed sugar. It's basically a healthy ice cream! Current flavors at Pressed include Vanilla, Chocolate, Mango Turmeric, and Creamy Coconut. I sampled the Mango Turmeric, but the turmeric flavor was a little strong in my opinion. I went with the Chocolate and chose strawberries, granola, and cacao drizzle as my toppings. The strawberries were fresh and the freeze was not too sweet. My Freeze was around $6, which is definitely a little pricey. I'm an avid ice cream lover, and Pressed Freeze won't replace ice cream in my heart. But if I'm in a healthy mood, I will come back!

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

Unfortunately, we realized that we had to decide between possibly not being led into our reserved seat at the theater or missing out on this delicious dessert. It was just a matter of not realizing how long it would take. I don't blame Somisomi because they had a huge number of ahbong to make fresh, and of course, there was no way to cut in line We ended up telling the lovely staff that we had to leave, and to please give our orders under "Coco" to someone for free so it wouldn't be wasted.
