I've had a few of their juices in the past but first time getting the açaí bowl and it was fantastic. This store is located inside of cal plaza right across from the Starbucks. Not gonna lie, subpar. I value food over everything else, and although the service and ambiance were nice, my drink and food was not. I had an açaí bowl type thing and it was pretty fine. Maybe 3 stars. It was looking good until I tried their most recommended juice. Holy shit it was bad. Too bitter, as if the orange was pressed too hard and the pith was juiced into the juice. And got me to try my very first açaí bowl. Pressed is a great place to cop a juice cleanse or your daily dose of greens in a bottle. They have soft serve in açaí, chocolate, and vanilla. They have immunity shots like ginger and most everything (sans açaí bowls, smoothies, and soft serve) is prepackaged and ready to go. So if you're in a rush you'll be done in a flash. This review is regarding shipping, not any store in particular. I ordered a 5 day cleanse. It came in 2 boxes one of which was damaged in shipping so the box had a big hole in it. All of the ice packs were melted and several were broken and leaking gel contents into the box and all over the juice bottles. I was assured by customer service that the juices are safe to consume as long as the bottles are not bloated and are cool to the touch. There were a few bottles that were warm to touch and customer service replaced those for me with a shipment that arrived 3 days later with melted ice packs and warm bottles. I didn't even call customer service again. I decided to take it as a loss. Unfortunately, when I started to o the cleanse it was apparent that many of the juices and protein milks were spoiled. So out of the 5 day cleanse with 5 add on celery juices and shots, I only got 2 days worth of juices that were consumable. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not order from Pressed if you need to have the product shipped to you. They obviously do not know how to package the items so they remain cold and safe to consume. read more

Pressed Juicy is clean, healthy good but not best. Only come here for convenience, it's close to my yoga studio a few steps away. The mini versions of anything is great, pre or post yoga class as A refreshing fuel source or whenever you want a boost but not too much. Mini freeze are similar to yogurt but healthier, as they offer non dairy and vegan options and cleaner, as it is dispense from the machine, no scooping with dirty hands involved. Only some of the staff are nice, while others are cold and unreceptive not just towards me but others from my class...so unfriendly and chilly just like the freeze they offer! read more

Sara provided amazing service from beginning to end. I first contacted this location to see if they offered curbside pickup. Sara was so cordial and accommodating. She offered various helpful options without my asking. When I went to pick up, the location was pretty empty so instead I went to pick up in the store. I placed my order online along with 5 acai bowls and she was considerate enough to wait until I got there to prepare them so they were fresh. Everything was Covid-19 safe with hand sanitizer, plexiglass, air circulation, and masking. I no longer live in LA but frequent the Northern California locations and have never experienced this type of customer service at any of them yet. Decided on a whim to do a 3-day cleanse. I accidentally placed the order online on a Friday, expecting that I'd be able to put in the date of pickup, but was unable to do so. I called the store and was greeted by the manager, Carolyn. She is the best. She said that she would honor the cleanse for pickup on Monday. This is a convenient location for me to walk to in CAL Plaza since I live across the street. I did the standard Cleanse 3 juices on day 1. It was really hard to get some of the green juices down (my favorite is Greens 3 as the lemon and ginger hide the grassy taste). Another shoutout to Carolyn- when I went to pickup the juices on day 2 and day 3, she was nice enough to swap out the ones I didn't like for something else. Some of my favorites are the Citrus 2, Roots 3, and Vanilla Almond. I didn't finish all of the juices every day of the cleanse (between all the juices and water, you get full pretty quickly) so I have some leftover, which I will use while weening back into solid foods over the next few days. I'm definitely feeling cleaner and look forward to doing the cleanse again. read more

He even gave me a copy of the menu when he saw me taking picture of its wall menu. My friend and I were visiting the Broad, and there is no cafe or anything of the like inside so we decided to leave for a bit to grab a drink. We ended up at Pressed Juicery. When we walked in, we were greeted by Matt, who was really friendly. We have both never been to a Pressed Juicery before, so we decided to ask him for recommendations. Hard not to bump this place up to 5 stars when I come in daily and never experience anything other than top notch customer service. Carolyn in particular, is awesome at her job, remembers everyone's orders, and is always upbeat and friendly. Their prices are more than fair, and their customer service has been great every time I've stopped in. The inside is always clean, and I have never had to wait in line for more than a minute, even during peak hours. The pressed juice freezes are wonderful! And healthy if you don't add a bunch of sugary topping like I often do. They have a slight date taste since that is the sweetener. Very satisfying and feels much lighter than ice cream or frozen yogurt. I've tried the chocolate and strawberry flavors so far. Both great but the chocolate is by far my favorite. That one especially doesn't even need any toppings (though my favorite toppings are chocolate chips, chocolate sauce and granola butter). (Granola butter is sugary deliciousness in a sauce). I haven't had much luck with many of their juices yet...probably too healthy for my taste, and if you get a juice with aloe vera in it but aren't used to drinking aloe you might want to consider the juice more of a "cleanser". After standing there for several minutes, not once did the employee acknowledge our presence (not even eye contact) , the customer she was assisting let us know it would only be few mintues.
