by far the worst dealership to ever exist!! they screwed around with my dads paperwork years ago when it went in for service, by redoing the paperwork he had in the glove compartment, extending his loan and adding all types of extras, I gave them another shot, they sold me a vehicle already with issues, car went in for service already with a headache and aggravation, just to go back in for the same thing a couple months later, they told me to drop it off that they would get it done faster, they' very had the car for two weeks can't seem to figure out the part that they need. but keep telling me that the parts coming in and the ones they get in are defective yet promised me a loaner for any service that I needed in the future and both times the car has never have a loaner give me and tell me to go through my insurance.PLEASEEEEEEE STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I would not recommend buying a car from here especially if you live in RI. Manny counted out business days on a Calendar to me as if I was a pre-schooler. The kicker is I had already explained I understand how business day works. He also tried to use his sales associates to corroborate what he said to me as if he would tell his boss he is wrong in front of a customer?!? Manny also told me he wouldn't lie to me as if a used car dealer would admit they are a liar. Bizarre. Untrustworthy business. Put a deposit down on a vehicle on a Friday, and was speaking with a salesman about the vehicle throughout the weekend as I was using my own bank for financing so I had some paperwork I needed to put together. Was unable to get in contact with this salesman come Monday so I went in to finish up some paperwork. Upon walking in the door I watched the manager(who shook my hand on Friday congratulating me on the purchase) in his office send out a salesman to speak with me. This salesman told me the car was sold to someone else and it was probably because I didn't have large enough deposit and I am just a young man and I probably don't have that great of credit compared to this other customer who was described as an older gentleman with money who bought and left with the car on the same day. I expressed how this didn't make any sense because not only did I have a deposit down on the vehicle, no one ever contacted me to let me know someone else was looking at the car. Come to find out later this vehicle they still have in stock and a full story was made up to not sell me the car. My guess is because I was not financing through the dealership they didn't want to sell me the car. The sad part about it all is the manager who I spoke with on Friday did not even have the decency to talk to me himself he sent a salesman who was uninvolved to lie to me about it. Was luckily able to find a vehicle elsewhere for a much better deal. I would avoid this dealership at all costs, unfortunately some not so great people involved. I helped my daughter purchase a vehicle from here and an extended warranty that they said would cover everything. within a few weeks there was an issue with the transmission. She brought it to them several times to have it fixed and they were very unprofessional and rude to her. They also refused to give her any paperwork for the repair work that was done! The issues with the car continued so We finally brought it to a trusted repair shop and between the engine and transmission issues it would cost us over $7000 to repair it! While we still owed $12000. Needless to say we took a loss on this car and junked it! She only had the car a little over year. Lesson learned. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

Got a 2014 WRX from these guys. The car clearly had some aftermarket work done to it. Probably previously had a tune. Then flashed back to stock before Prestige got their hands on it. Not their fault. So about 50 miles into picking up the car the check engine came on and read a few codes. This was because of the bolt on parts and stock ECU did not mesh. Engine timing was off. It needed another tune. So I had to spend an extra $1100 of parts and tune to get it to run correctly. Again not their fault, they might of had no idea. They are not a tuning shop. I had got a good deal from them for about 2.5k under market value. And only with 15k miles. I dealt with Mike and it was pretty easy. 1 visit and 3 phone calls later, I picked up the car. They even over-night'd my title to my town clerk to register my car after a miscommunication between Mike and I. Only downside that I've experienced with these guys is that they had told me that they had done a fresh oil change and had the next oil change at another 7k miles. I did the oil change myself once I got it home, it was a quart low and very dirty. They clearly had not done an oil change and just slapped a 'next service due in:' stick on the windshield. All in all pretty easy experience. 3 stars just for lying about an oil change. Cmon now. UPDATE: 1/19/2020 It's been 4 months since owning the car. Every week day since I bought this car I have gotten anywhere between 2-5 cold calls from 3rd party extended warranty companies regarding my Subaru that I purchased from these guys. They will sell you information and the calls will never end. read more

I stopped in randomly to look at a vehicle that I saw while driving by. A very nice gentlemen by the name of Cory came out to help me. He answered a number of questions and took me inside to get some additional information for me. Inside the show room was a very nice 2011 BMW X3. I asked him to get some information on that suv as well. Cory was great. I asked them give to me an idea on a trade in for my current car. The "manager" took my car for a drive and took my registration as well. Cory told me it would just be a moment because the "manager" was putting my info into the computer and checking NADA to get a value. He asked me while I was doing that if I wanted to be as accurate as possible and did I want to go ahead and fill out the paperwork for a credit check. I told him that I was ready to do that until I knew what I would be getting as a trade on my own vehicle and after I could get an insurance quote. Cory went back to his manager and came back saying that the manager didn't want to give me a "guess" on my trade in because he didn't want to be wrong. They wouldn't even give me a trade in value because I was unwilling to sign a credit application. It was immensely unprofessional and I think it may also be illegal. I won't be stepping foot on this lot, or either of the other two lots owned by this company. I don't recommend anyone else wasting their time either. read more

This place is horrible. (0 STARS wasn't an option) The price on the internet was suddenly reflective of a $3,000 down payment, once I expressed interest in the car. I talked them down to within $1,000 of the "posted" price and bought the car, because my daugter liked it. Since then, we have had multiple issues with the car, which they either knew about and chose to ignore, or weren't thorough enough in their inspection of the car before putting it up for sale. They did fix one issue, but I had to leave the car back in RI for several days. The next issue they ignored and still have not bothered to respond to a certified letter I sent them. I went somewhere else before coming here and the other place which will remain unnamed wouldn't even let me see the car I wanted with their upsells. I came to Prestige Auto Mart in Taunton and asked to see a Nissan Pathfinder, and guess what they showed me: not one, but two Pathfinders! The one my wife and I chose was beautiful and drove great. Chris in sales, Miguel in financing, and the other gentleman in sales whose name I forgot, took care of me and of my new vehicle like one would a king. They gave me just enough financing that my own bank would not. And I am not at all untrustworthy with money, so it was not predatory lending. My bank just said that I had little credit because I pay all of my bills cash!!! I have not a single complaint about this place and am going to refer everyone I know to this place. And I'm a man of the ministry so I cannot tell a lie. read more

I financed a 13 hyundai elantra. I loved the car on the test drive, and got it. Afterwards, there were THREE problems with it, including starter problems, adjustment problems, AND the brakes. I had them do the brake pads, only to find out a month later that more was needed to this car. Poor dealer, id you have bad credit, this is not the dealer to go to, take business elsewhere, or you WILL be ripped off. DON'T BUY A CAR HERE! If this review isn't proof enough, check out their reviews on the Better Business Bureau! This place is a complete nightmare. Exactly 1 week ago today I purchased a 2014 vehicle. The check engine light came on before I even reached my house. I called them and they said the earliest they could see me was Friday-fine. The car was brought to them on Friday and they explained that there were two things wrong, one of which could be replaced they just had to order a simple part. I was then told I was going to be called on Monday to schedule and appointment to bring the car in. Come Monday, I received no call and I am still driving a car with issues that I JUST purchased. On Tuesday, I am driving this wonderful vehicle on the highway when suddenly the vehicle completely lost power. Somehow i managed to move over to the breakdown lane and the car began working again in a few minutes. FURIOUS at this point, I called them and was told the earliest they could take the car was Thursday. (My suspicion is that they were going to try and ride out the lemon law mileage hoping I'd drive it and it would not be their responsibility anymore). Not to mention, I was also told they never ordered the part on Friday. After speaking with a manager, I was told that "things like this happen when you buy a used car"-which I do not dispute in any way, BUT things like this SHOULDNT happen not even 1 week after purchase. Come to find out the service guy also KNEW that the issue could cause a power outage and still sent me home with the vehicle on Friday. He's lucky I didn't get in a major accident, thats all I have to say about that. Fast forward to today, the car is "fixed" and I call my loan company to pay off the loan of the vehicle. The loan company then informed me that I supposedly bought an $1,800.00 warranty that was offered to me at the dealer. False. I was told that my car loan was going to come with a 2 year warranty at no extra charge. Not once was I ever informed that I would be charged any sort of figure for this warranty. Making sure I wasn't crazy, I called my co-signer, and friend who were with me when I purchased the vehicle and both also stated that I was never informed of this $1,800.00. I am waiting on a call from a manager now but I don't anticipate it is going to go anywhere. Save your money, save your time, save the stress. Buy your car somewhere else. read more

The details are endless of the sham service I encountered. I take responsibility for calling them and asking specifically for a Honda CRV. And sure enough I got a photo of a bright white gleaming 2016 CRV. I was promised it was CLEAN - I asked over and over again as that was really important to me. I have to take a ferry ride to get to the mainland so it was important to conduct as much business as possible in advance. So...for a four year old CRV with 51,000 miles (trust me I question even that now) it seemed like the perfect deal. OMG. I showed up to find a cream colored car, NOT a gleaming white one. And the first thing I noticed were the dirty streaks on all four sides. Hmmm. But when I opened the door I could not believe the stench of wet dog and what one other person described as urine. The salesperson came out with a can of "new car smell" spray and tried to disguise the stench and was quickly washing the small wiry dog hair off the dashboard. Ok. So I was going to have to foot the bill to have the car professionally cleaned. I traded in my 2007 CRV and finally left feeling very dissatisfied. Not like I should have felt with a new car. I drove a couple miles up the road and discovered the AC did not work. It was a very warm day. I drove it back and they stuck it in the garage and it was soon becoming apparent that there was definitely something wrong. There was no record of the work - if any - this dealership did on the car. Upon reading the car fax I questioned why did they own the car for a full year before selling it? No specific answer. And the finance manager when I asked what service they performed mentioned "tweaking the AC". Ugh. It wasn't looking good. They knew I had a boat to catch to get home. They pumped the AC or charged it and it was mildly cool until I was on the highway for 15 MINUTES and blowing hot air. And then the fun began. They absolutely refused to take my calls or to return my calls. Someone I had not dealt with the entire day named Joe told me my problem and I would have to deal with the service department. So with no alternative I tried to make an appointment and was told it would be at least a week and a half before I could get it in and they might not have the part. After all, as mentioned, it was COVID - 19 and they were behind. Mentioning that I had just BOUGHT the car gave me no clout whatsoever. THAT WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT WAS DISCOVERED WHEN I FINALLY REACHED HOME. My son in law went under the car to see about the AC and discovered the entire undercarriage was completely corroded. And upon inspecting the engine going down one layer underneath the shiny new covers they installed the entire engine was completely white with corrosion and all the bolts were incredibly rusted. THIS CAR HAD BEEN IN OR CONSTANTLY EXPOSED TO SALT WATER!!!! I live on an island and have been through 13 years of N'oreasters with pounding surf and driven through salt spray over and over. My car is parked daily on a 35 foot stretch of sand between the ocean and the saltwater lagoon. My car in no way looks anything like how corroded and rusted this piece of junk was. BOTTOM LINE...THE SAME DAY I TOOK POSSESSION I CALLED AND WARNED THEM MY NEXT PHONE CALL WAS TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, AND I WOULD BE FILING A CHAPTER 93A AND CONTACTING THE BBB. WITHIN 5 MINUTES I RECEIVED A CALL ASKING IF I WOULD LIKE TO "RETURN THE CAR THE NEXT DAY". And last but not least these men - these incredibly hostile, rude, I daresay misogynistic creeps managed to "lose" the $250.00 key that went with the car I turned in. We visited Prestige and were quite happy with the sales person. We checked out one more dealership but thought we could get the best deal at Prestige. We called the sales person to make sure we could get the price we wanted if we came back in. He called back after talking to a manager and said Yes, they would honor that price. I specifically asked him to confirm that we would get that price and he said yes. So we went out of our way to go back to the dealership. And then another manager (Miguel) comes over and says that there's no way he can offer that price. So were lied to. I found a car on the website, sent an email and got a response from Leigh-Anne. I made it VERY clear that my son, who was the one looking had a budget and could not afford more. She assured me the car was available for his budget, according her manager, and we drove to the East Providence location. Keep in mind this is a 40 minute ride for us. Well, we get there, the salesman tells us the car was sold, and that he would never have sold it to us anyway, for the low price we could afford! I actually felt sorry for the salesman, he was embarrassed and could not apologize enough., especially when I showed him the emails from Leigh-Ann that assured us of the cars availabilty. As for Leigh-Ann, when I called her to complain, she was rude, accusing me of not even really going there, and dismissive. Bottom line folks, don't bother, sleazy operation. read more

TLDR - Offered us great deal, but changed their minds half way through and were incredibly rude, slimy dealer warning!! I came here recently with my partner to discuss and test drive a new car. We noticed that the online price of the car was good but wanted to do some haggling. To our surprise the dealer was happy to haggle with us about the price, bringing it down by 2K! So we were excited. We asked about financing and they brought out a list of repayment numbers but refused to tell us what the interest rate was, so we couldn't easily tell if they actually reduced the price or not. We then spent 30 minutes discussing this - ironically one of the topics was how we preferred to deal with a local dealer rather than carmax - suddenly after 40 minutes, the manager sat beside us - I felt the instant presence of a slimy dealer stereotype - after him speaking continuously for 5 minutes about himself - he said he wouldn't be able to reduce the price at all as the car was just too good. No problem if he said that in the first place, but offering us a cheaper price then not telling us the interest rate then cancelling the deal abruptly meant that we spent 40 minutes in that dealer for no reason. These guys have a reputation for a reason! Ironically we would have happily paid more than the online price, but time wasting is not cool! Sale lost! Tip - Go to CarMax, little pricier but much friendlier. read more

My girlfriend purchased a 13 Nissan Maxima there without me when she brought the car home I opened the hood only to find out the car was in and accident and repaired with poor body work. The grill was put back on with some Home Depot nuts and bolts that weren't factory and also the grill and bumper were a different shade of black. She had poor credit they stuck her with a 1000 monthly car payment. These people are no good they take advantage of people with poor credit and stick you with a 20% interest rate. First with the check engine light & now the transmission. I dont know about anyone else, but a vehicle is needed each and every day to get to work. At first when my fiance suggested them giving him a rental off their lot, the response was "we dont do that". It took my fiance to raise his voice to get any results. So he was given the rental & guess what...he had to bring the truck back this morning for transmission issues & was given another rental. Seems this dealer sold us a LEMON! So my car would just stop on me in the middle of the st out of no where an 18 wheeler had to run off the road in order to avoid hitting me and another suv same thing also a car as well. I was startled scared and confused I called them crying I had to have it towed to there shop which I did. The quote on quote mechanic said he fixed it I picked my car up from them having it for 3 weeks, than guess what as soon as I got 2 streets over from my house the car clinked out again I called they told me to drive it to them I said because if it clunks out again and I cause an accident and hurt someone or myself you're not going to pay for it. I had it towed that same day and once again I was without a car now for 2 months total they had my car towed to infiniti dealer in westwood. They had my car for 1 week to call me and say come pick up the car I said what was wrong with it they said the vacuum line hose was out and they put it back in and I have to pay 410.00 wtffff so I called the dealer they told me that I am out of the 30 day warranty they give and I cant make a claim because it was not part of my extended warrant I was heated..... I said I need a new car they told me I need to have the car for at least a year in order to get a new one. Now the third month my car gave me hard clunk backing up I had 3 different auto shops look into it and guess what my transmission was gone how tf is it gone reallllllyyyyyyyyy. I called them and I had to use my extended warranty to get it fixed and ever since I've been having problems with this car and I only had it 2 years now and I need a rack and pinion on my car I replaced the whole front suspension.. the manger kevin is a big jerk and not helpful and his wife is very unprofessional and rude, everyone there sucks. now I'm stuck with this high car and cant even drive it its been sitting at an auto body I would neverrrrrrrrrrr go there if they was the last people on earth they don't know how to treat there customers never call you back and give you the run around like come on I know you buy the cars from auctions and flip them and sell them but if your going to do treat everyone fairly. In order to keep repeating and new clients you need to run your business better than what your doing . And still to this day all they say is oh well I can't help your out of the warranty not even you know what I know you've been having problems since you got the car let me help you and put you in something that's the same price no nothing basically I'm on my own.. and this is why your company will never prosper you just don't do people wrong and don't care nor help. you will miss your blessing that way. read more
