For the first car, they helped me get financing (Crescent Credit Union in Brockton), which worked out great. I also got a pre-purchase inspection on that first car, and told them about a few hundred dollars' worth of minor repairs that the third-party mechanic pointed out. They took care of them without any hassle. Both times I went in knowing exactly which car I wanted. (I will only drive stick-shifts, so I'm picky that way.) So I can't opine on what it's like to "shop around" there. But both of my experiences were great, with no surprises.

So we did, but here's the kicker, he did NOT mention anything about it being non refundable because why the hell else would i put $500 down to not get it back possibly?!?! so called him up and told him we weren't interested and he said he would refund us and yelled at us the whole time and hung up mid convo. a week goes by and still no refund on the card. call back and explain we haven't see it yet and he starts yelling again saying it's non refundable after he said he would last week and hangs up mid talking AGAIN. who the hell raised this guy? he sends us over to his secretary so he dosent have to deal with us, who was surprisingly not rude, but she tells us she has no say in the refund so why did he even bother sending us to her? finally she calls back and tells us to come in for a refund. when this could have just happened from the start?!why was this a whole issue when it could have just been refunded properly a week ago. this guy needs an attitude adjustment. so extremely shady and just a money hungry pig. mind you the car was junk he was trying to sell for an outrageous price. i really recommend you to save your time and money and go elsewhere unless you want to be out of hundreds of dollars for not wanting junk and also get attitude from an adult baby then definitely go there. pathetic.
