They boast about the powertrain warranty and their guaranteed quality when doing purchase and delivery. Nothing like Carvana! They are shady crooks. My 2018 Nissan Armada was delivered to my driveway with excessive dark smoke. The car immediately started skipping with acceleration and the check engine light popped on after 40miles of driving across town to a funeral. This all occurred within first few hours of delivery. When I contacted Tom- he initially said there was nothing he could do, cause I was "out of state"- which I was not. Then they told me to get codes at AutoZone. When it came back as the O2 sensors, they said it wasn't part of the drivetrain- which it is: "Oxygen sensors -- also called O2 sensors --are a small but important part of your internal-combustion-engine (ICE) vehicle's drivetrain." Then Bill the manager, stated he would not leave me "SOL" (as he put it) and repairing would be cheaper there if I brought it back the 3.5hr drive- which I agreed. Then this morning, Tom called back and said he wasn't going to do anything. They sold me a car that would not even pass emissions. I am taking them to court-as this falls under the lemon law. A technician even admitted that this engine light had to be reset- O2 sensors don't suddenly go this bad- it has been acting up over time. Read the Yelp reviews- they are more real, honest reviews than Edmunds. Should have saw them first- Don't buy a car here! read more

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Do not have Bryan as your salesmen. He is good UNTIL you have a problem. I called Prestige numerous times with no response the minute I pulled from their lot. They moved the truck from the original space and I'm sure it was to hide the major oil leak! I came out from having the truck two days to find an oil puddle under the car. With no responses from Prestige, my car sat at Land Rover of Louisville 9 days before I was able to realize Cody B with service lied and had never even started my claim with the warranty company. Very unprofessional. Land Rover of Louisville was shocked at my treatment and their lack of response. The cost 800 bucks. and their so called warranty only covered 400. I had the car TWO days! If you buy from them take a mechanic. Read the fine print. If it were me, choose ANYwhere else! read more

My wife and I bought a Maserati from these crooks. First, the engine had been swapped out. Nobody seemed to know anything about it until we started digging into the car fax like detectives. Then, they couldn't provide any documentation of the odometer from which the motor came from. They then tried to say that something was wrong with my 2015 Armada transmission, so I didn't trade. It had a discoloration on the dash, so they wrote a "we owe you" form to try to fix it, what a joke! Their word is trash. Never called and they would never call us back. They weren't even going to remove the sticker off the front window, still left sticker residue. I knew they were crooks when they put $20 of gas in a $35,000 car I just bought from them. We wound up moving to TN and took it to get an oil change, and the rear differential had to be replaced. Their mechanics were so poorly trained they left out bolts that held in the motor and crushed AC lines and didn't replace gaskets. $3,800 later even after the warranty covered the differential, and a month in the shop, it's running good. I hope everyone going here reads this first. The worst car dealership experience OF MY LIFE!!! You have been warned. read more

Buying a car from here is the biggest mistake I could have made. I was promised that everything would be repaired and I went around it with a fine tooth comb with our salesman Gaige. He took pictures of all the missing covers and sent them to the service guy Cody. I was leaving for a trip the day after we made the purchase so they told me to contact them when we got back so they could do the repairs. when we returned Gaige was no longer employed there so we were turned over to Cody in the service department. my 11 year old can find parts for a car that Cody "couldn't find". After months of dealing with the completely inept Cody, who not only insisted he couldn't find the parts needed, but when MY MECHANIC did find the part and called him saying "they are here we just need you to pay for them" he said to send them all back because he had them, but he did NOT. Then we were turned over to Devin, who now 6 months in wanted us to give the car back (that I had already had over $3000 in repairs done on by this point and over $900 of that was not covered by the warranty so I paid out of pocket.) and get me into something else. After still no progress on the repairs we contacted the BBB. at that point we were connected with their "operations manager" Pete. Pete promised us everything would be fixed and assured me multiple times parts were in only to drive all the way to the Cuyahoga Falls location and the parts weren't even there. He finally fixed and replaced most of what I was promised BUT refuses to even replace the key fob that was missing the valet key part. Instead he went and found a spare they had laying around and stuck it in my key fob. Its the key to SOMEONE ELSE'S CAR and doesn't even fit in my door. That doesn't even make any sense. Even the other guys working there agree that when you purchase a car it should come with at least one functional complete key, yet Pete doesn't seem to think the key to the car is a necessity and will just give you someone else's to fit the open slot so it looks like it's fixed. I warn you, DO NOT purchase a vehicle from these people. Every time I have had it at a mechanic in the last year and they have asked where I bought it, as soon as I answer they say "That was your first mistake. We hear that all the time." read more

I worked with Mario at Prestige on an Audi SQ5 that we really liked. Knowing that I was buying a used car from an auction I wanted to have the car inspected to be sure it was solid. The vehicle was solid aside from the sunscreen for the panoramic roof. It was a $1800 fix that put the car out of range for us. Mario did everything he could to have the repair covered but was unable to make the numbers work, so we did not move forward with the purchase. With that being said, the experience was great and Mario never applied ANY pressure to make a deal. I read the reviews for Prestige and have a message for anyone looking to buy a car from them. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED. The $250 for our full inspection was worth every penny and saved me from making a financial mistake. Dealers like this find awesome values at auctions and you can find your gem. Just understand they are buying them like you. Online buy. The car was delivered dirty and reeking of cigarette smoke. Upon driving it, there was a loud grinding noise when I braked. Called Cody and told him I had to get it fixed. I was told to send pics and documentation and I would be reimbursed $866 spent for the 4 new rotors and brake pads. Cody lied initially telling me that the front rotors and brake pads were changed. All 4 worn down to the same degree. My mechanic of 10 years said they had only replaced the front brake pads. Peter the GM, told me that since the car passed their safety inspection on their lot, they were not responsible for reimbursement. Really, Pete? The brakes were loud enough to wake Helen Keller from her grave. So Pete, you made Cody a liar twice and you're willing to sacrifice the integrity of your business for $866 that is not only owed to me but was promised as well. Oh, and why are the VIN stickers scratched up on the driver door.? What are you hiding. I'm in contact with my attorney because the car couldn't get registered in Pa because these swindlers are doing whatever with the title. do not buy your car here. they get cars shipped to them from an auction in nj, they give a quick go over and put them on the lot. neither they or you know what you are buying. within an hour after leaving with my $26,500 car, it overheated. my 2 front tires had less than 2/32 of tread to the wear bars and i was taking it back to florida. the video they sent me did not show the damage nor imperfections to the car. they didn't even try to clean the dirty seats. prestige has nothing to do with prestige, only wuth making a buck as fast as they can. they are why people don't trust used car dealers. now they won't even return my call. avoid these guys...you've been warned! read more

i saw a vehicle i was interested in. when i got there, the car was "displayed" up on the sidewalk to the dealership door, perhaps for quick sale. found that interesting took it for a test drive and heard some whirring/grinding in the front passenger wheel area. was told by the service guy that this was due to a bearing in the steering column as well as the front tires being worn - i moved forward and got the warranty since i had a prior vehicle where i had to shell out major bucks for to repair it. my sales guy was ok, but i gave him specific instruction to have the finance manager not repeatedly run my credit since i already had pre-approval. i knew it was a bad sign when the pre-financing offer paperwork i set on the desk was left there when he got up to go to the manager...and guess what happened...5 inquiries. when signing the application i brought it up and the manager tried to make the excuse that he wanted to get me a better rate, which didn't make sense to me as i already had financing secured. also, some small talk about where i lived didn't go over well with me, he saw it didn't work, and basically blew me off for the rest of the transaction and didn't even look at me. another thing about the finance manager...he NEVER came up to me or introduced himself to me, which is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL...the last dealership i went to 9 months ago treated me better and had people come up to me to check in on me...the finance manager shook my hand and led me back to the office to complete paperwork instead of this situation where i was beckoned to his office like an unruly student... i also found it interesting how, in the beginning, they were open to having the car brought to me since i was about 35 miles away, but after everything with the credit being ran went down, i get told "we can't do that because we're short staffed today"...even though there were 8-10 people in the dealership coming and going. ***update*** 7 months later, having the car serviced, and was told that because the front fuse box never had a cover, the entire electrical system is out of whack and possible transmission replacement. had the car serviced via warranty 4 weeks prior and was told it wasn't exactly the transmission but the transfer case. read more

I bought a 2006 Chevy Cobalt in September of 2019 as a secondary car to supplement the miles on my lease. I have tried to find cheaper cars in the past for the same purpose but quickly found out that you get what you pay for. I figured I'd try again and look for something that was a bit more money but didn't need as much work. I found this car, took it for a test drive and it seemed to check out well, and I went ahead with the purchase, especially since the staff at prestige auto told me about the 90 day warranty that covered the car. A month later, the car wouldn't go into 2nd, 4th and reverse (manual transmission), which was unfortunate, but I felt like it would be fixed since the car was well within the warranty that was promised upon signing the agreement. The service staff tried to convince me that any reputable shop would do the warranty work and all I had to do was call somewhere and that shop would be paid by the warranty company to do the work. Turns out no place wants to touch the car because they didn't want to be on the hook for more money than the warranty company was willing to pay, so I figured I would just take it back to prestige to have it fixed, and this is where my experience started to be a nightmare. After trying to reach the service department and NEVER getting through after leaving message after message, I had to call and have a sales staff member physically walk the phone back to the service staff to try and get some questions answered. They finally said to bring the car in and it would be covered by the warranty. I thought I'd finally get the car I really liked in good working order, and was excited to get it back. After a month of wondering, but still trying to be patient, I had to call and inquire about my car because I received no update. The service manager Leo said that the repair was, in fact, not covered by the warranty, and to get it fixed would be 863$. He assured me that the "stretched" cable was adjusted, so it works but could break at any time, and is still "sloppy". So, a car that I paid top dollar for and have literally have had for only a few months and barely driven, can still not be reliably driven without potentially breaking again, and I've only made two payments! I'm going to have to spend at least a thousand dollars to get this car up to standard after paying top dollar only to sell it for fear of having anything else break and being on the hook for more money. Learn from my mistake and DO...NOT...BUY from prestige auto. They specialize in high priced sub-standard cars that are detailed only to entice people to buy. The end result for me was a car I paid top dollar for, that I got to drive less than 1000 miles before it broke, got blown off and lied to by the service department, and when I did get the car in it was inadequately fixed, and resulted in more money out of my pocket for a car I already paid good money for, barely drove, and will have to sell out of fear of more costly repairs. I've had dozens of cars and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Spend your hard earned money ANYWHERE else but prestige auto. This is a shady business, and the staff are only professional until they have to be held accountable for their sub-standard product and service. Eleven days ago I purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram power wagon. We were informed the exhaust would not pass PA inspection they discounted it 300 dollars we walked off the lot with it. Five days after getting it home to PA we get PA inspection it will not pass, the ball joints and play on the vehicle were deemed unsafe to drive. I have called for five days the managers just now responded to me stating they can not pay for anything that does not pass PA inspection. Since the vehicle passed dodge inspection. We have paid 600 dollars for the repairs now. Also they continue to act as if taking 300 dollars off of a vehicle was a favor for us when the salesman was not even aware it was missing an exhaust. The company place my family in an unsafe car and tried telling me when we test drove it we should of noticed and issue. They are not willing to take responsibility for the repairs as they only go on dodge. How a company can put a family in an unsafe car and continue telling the family they should have know something was wrong is unbelievable to me and mind blowing. read more

SKETCHY. Prestige sold me a GMC Terrain that was rough around the edges and had been in an accident, but no big deal right? Wrong. Went to a local dealership today and they told me it has STRUCURAL DAMAGE. Prestige DID NOT disclosed this information to me. They did tell me it had been in an accident, but not that it had been to an auto auction and bought by them with the structural damage. Causally slipped over the fact that it was there, now I am going to get screwed on my trade in also I've been driving a car with structural damage all this time?! They did make me sign a paper about the "vehicles history" but I didn't read it because I am a young dumb idiot who has learned her lesson. They were very nice but it was over kill to cover up their sketchy sales. read more

I had found a 2004 Nissan Armada Offroad listed on both Craigslist and eBay that I was very interested in. The only problem is that it was in Akron, 2 hours away. After zooming in on the pictures they had provided and examining them both on Craigslist and their actual website, I noticed what looked like bubbled up paint from rust on the rear fenders and rear hatch by the wiper arm. The pictures definitely weren't the best, but everything else looked decent besides a few little things in the interior like a ripped seat. I texted the number they had provided on the site and asked if the truck was still available and told them I would be driving up to see it from Columbus, 2 hours away. I made the trip up with a friend only to walk into the dealership with all the sales people crowded around a center reception desk. It appeared as if they were being lectured by the manager. A salesman named Andre told us he'd be with us in a moment. As we we're heading outside to look at the truck, he mentioned that the rear door didn't lock and the alarm was going off all night, so it would probably be dead. I told my friend that was 2 red flags. While my friend and I waited for him to bring a jump box, we noticed the truck was actually in really bad shape. The rust was so bad that it flaked off in quarter size chunks just by touching it. There was actually a huge golf ball size hole by the rear wiper arm. We also noticed more rust in spots not visible in the pictures like rocker panels, strut towers, and it looked like several things in the engine compartment were almost eaten through, like the brake master cylinder. By the time Andre came back with the jump box, we had already decided the truck was too far gone. My friend was really upset he drove that far for nothing and was actually contemplating telling the manager he wanted gas money just for wasting our time. All that would have been needed to keep this from happening was better pictures, especially some honest shots of the rust. The pictures they provided were very misleading and it was obvious they were just trying to sell low quality junk. In all it was a bad experience and I urge anyone considering buying from them to ask for more detailed pictures and really inspect what you are wanting to purchase. read more
