Fantastic place! Torsten has been great to deal with. He helped diagnose an issue with an intermittent Service Engine Soon light. Have a smog check due soon, so it was important to get that fixed. Another more troubling concern was the odd handling I was experiencing after some suspension work. They replaced a few bushings and the tightness returned. I have had him do all servicing on my Porsche, after reading the favorable reviews and speaking with Torsten to let him know that I wanted to work with a reliable shop that I could confidently have my car serviced, when necessary, I have not been disappointed. Months later I was preparing to replace my wife's 2016 Audi A6 Prestige 3.0L all wheel drive. We purchased this Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle with 43K miles in 2018 and added their Platinum extended warranty, which expired when the mileage reached 100K miles, it has approximately 104K miles now. We have always maintained our car through a local Audi dealership, until we got a call from our service advisor that the bill to repair several issues at approximately 101,900 mile was going to be over $7,500.This was somewhat, a shock because the warranty had covered any service repairs up to 100K. I spoke with Torsten, letting him know about my idea to replace the car. He looked it over and suggested that I not replace the car (it's a beautiful one), and that I let him do the service. He did it at a reasonable price, far better than Audi. Recently, I took the car in for a brake job, it needed front/rear brakes and an ignition coil. I informed Torsten that we needed to travel during the Christmas holiday. Even though he was very busy he got the car to us in time for our travels. It had always rode a bit rough/firm due to the 20" wheels/tires that were optioned when it was originally purchased. Just had the oil/filter in my 996 changed here. Was able to wait for it; in by 9 (when they open) and out by 10. It doesn't get better than that. It's an laid back "old school" shop run by the owner/mechanic Torsten w/the help of his office asst, Andrew, who are both very amiable. I understand that Italian cars are really Torsten's specialty but knew what he was doing w/my 911 and services other German cars too. Last February when my Mini's 'Check Engine' light came on, I posted about it on our neighborhood Nextdoor app and was referred to Torsten Brune at Prestige Autohaus. Torsten advised what he thought the problem could be and said that this was an ongoing issue with Mini and most warranties had been extended to cover it. He said he was happy to book the repair appt but suggested I check with the dealership first since it is a costly repair. Sure enough, the problem WAS covered under a recall/extended program and the dealership made the (very expensive) repairs at no cost to me. As one previous Mini owner commented in an earlier review: "Who does that!? I would have trusted him to fix it and been none the wiser, but he sacrificed his own self-interest and was honest and helpful..." I couldn't agree more! To add to this incredible customer service story, here's something more: A couple weeks ago when I was driving through the same warehouse parking area looking for an alignment shop that I was referred to, Torsten stepped outside his shop door and called out to me asking if he could help me find someone. I told him, he directed me to the alignment shop, then said, "Hey, so I remember you now. Was the dealership able to help you out?" This is just customer service at the highest level--and he hasn't even worked on my car! YET. My favorite mechanics, Torsten and Colin, have purchased Prestige Autohaus, just a few steps from their first business, CT Motorwerks. These guys are the best car mechanics I have ever had! Not only do they fix everything on my persnickety Mini Cooper perfectly and on the first try, but they are the most honest businessmen I have the pleasure of knowing. Recently, my Mini's "check engine" light went on and I brought in the car to the new shop. Torsten investigated and identified the problems, which came with a huge price tag for repair. THEN, he told me that this problem had been addressed under a class action settlement, but that my car was technically too old to qualify for reimbursement. He recommended I take it in to the dealer and negotiate to see whether I could do better than I could have under the settlement. I did so and was successful at getting the dealership to pick up almost 50% of the cost of repair. Who does that!? I would have trusted him to fix it and been none the wiser, but he sacrificed his own self-interest and was honest and helpful because he and Colin really care about their customers. This place is not cheap but it is the highest quality mechanic shop I have ever stepped into. The owner Omer and his wife Micki are nice and always want to attack a problem at its root. Omer was a Mercedes Benz engineer in Germany, then in California like 30 years ago and since has been working on a bunch of european cars. He did a great job on my Maserati and on my Alfa Spider. He actually made the Alfa become a totally different car. Before, I couldn't drive at more than 50 mph, after I do 80! He transformed the engine!
