I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. A few weeks after that during the rain, I ran over something and a screw from the back tire well came loose and I took it to Luu's again. The owner just screws it back on in two minutes and didn't charge me anything and told me don't worry about it. If that's not a five star experience I don't know what is.

I have a 2009 Silverado V8 and needless to say the driver side engine mount was broken. And…read moreneedless to say it wasn't the first mount that was broken. I checked with the dealership and even an independent company and both of them we're going to charge me for seven hours labor for something that I knew only took one hour because I was going to do it myself. I ordered the mount and got most of the bolts loose and realized that it was gonna be a little bit harder than I had the tools to work with. But I'll be damned if I was going to pay an extra $1,300 dollars to a dealership that could do it in less than an hour. I was thrilled to know that for just $350 they would replace my engine mount (which I ordered off of Amazon) in a matter of hours. However there's one thing you need to realize when dealing with this company. This is a big rig company and they don't have shall we say, all the niceties of a dealership that's trying to rip you off. They gave me a very fair price ($350) for the work that was done and they did a great job. What I like and respect about these guys is that they are working class Joe's that do an honest days work. I have to admit I was very impressed with all the big rig work that they do which made my job seem elementary. Keep in mind the dealerships you deal with are trained to make sure that they can butter you up and take as much money out of your pocket as possible unlike these guys. Yes you may not get everything you demand over the phone right away but the owner is more than more willing to do the job but just meet him on his terms. Yes I had to call the morning I arrived and even called after the job was done to make sure that the truck was done. I think that they have so many things going on and there's a small job like this that gets a little overlooked and I'm not surprised. But I'll gladly except that and save $1000 over the dealership rip off price. This operation basically consisted of removing five 15mm bolts and 3 17mm nuts along with two minor electrical connections. It would require either a cherry picker to lift the engine up or a jack to lift the engine up but a crossmember would need to be removed for that operation first for a jack. In conclusion if you want your truck worked on they are certainly very experienced in this field. I get the impression they do pick ups on the side and big rigs are their main business. Which is just another reason why I recommend them because if anyone knows trucks, they do. Don't expect a Starbucks and a state of the art waiting room which is why I recommend just getting your vehicle dropped off. If you drop it off in the morning just make sure you call around 4 PM to see if your vehicle has been fixed. It's possible they may forget to call you that it's ready so take the initiative and save all that money.

The owner Bobby denied that he or his team didn't leave my truck like that, knowing dam well they did. On 6/19/26 I came in to get a refund/bolts and he denied the refund saying he didn't leave my vehicle incomplete and basically said the job was done properly. After he denied my refund he only handed me 4 bolts when I told him im missing 6 of them. I have pictures and videos of the missing bolts. Now taking it to a professional mechanic Im missing more than just bell housing bolts and come to find out again they used the wrong bolts for the transmission which caused 2 bolts to break and needs to be extracted. They said they'll replace all the bolts im missing but wont extract anything. Now they're ignoring me for asking why wont they extract anything bolts. He also lied on the invoice stating installation of new bolts but there wasn't any bolts. Lying on a invoice is against the Law. Incomplete auto care Romans 12:21
