Absolutely horrendous experience. STAY AWAY. Went in because my vehicle was struggling to do 60mph uphill. They kept it for 2 weeks and replaced the torque converter and a broken AC line for $3,800. I pick it up, and less than 24 hours later I get a check engine light. Take it back in. Catalytic converter. $1,600 later I pick it up. Literally on the way home - less than an hour of picking it back up, the car overheats. Temp gauge is all the way up. Forced to pay and tow it back to my place. Then pay to tow it to the dealership the next day. Now it's the coolant cap. Why was none of this caught the first time? Or the SECOND time I brought it in? Why have I now paid $5,400 for my car to overheat WITHIN AN HOUR of picking it up? Had to take off work just for their manager, Otay Martinez, to strong arm me into being submissive about the issue. "It's an old car. I can't tell you your headlights won't go out tomorrow. We will not be reimbursing you for anything. It's an old car, things happen I don't even have to waive the fee to now replace the coolant cap, I'm doing that to be nice." What would be nice is empathy and respect. It would be nice for the dealership to take some responsibility. You cannot tell me coincidentally that all of this happens to go out within less than 24 of having my car back both times. After driving it less than an hour. The kicker? I bring up how on the document they gave me after the last time I brought it in for the catalytic converter shows that it wasn't even tested. His response? "It was a typo. I can keep your car here for two weeks and find all sorts of problems. These things happen." I ask, "So what if my car goes out while driving it out like last time? Will the dealership be able to send out a tow truck and help out?" He says, "Nope. Can't do it." And for the finale! They fix the coolant cap. And I'm told, "Everything looks good. We tested it and no overheating. But it seems there is might be something wrong with the tires. An alignment issue maybe or something." What? What!? Is this reality? Am I being pranked? I take off work, I pay for 2 tows, you have my car for almost 3 weeks, I pay $5,400, you look it over now 3 times and I get this? Absolutely unbelievable. THEN, as I'm exiting the dealership, waiting at the light at 290/Gregg Manor, the car is shaking. 3,000 RPM doing 40mph as I'm leaving. I am not one to normally leave a review or share negative experiences but I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. If you're reading this, please take this as a warning. I thought just like many of you that nothing like this would happen to me. I am proven wrong by them daily.

Buying a car from Riata Ford could not have been easier. For my last 4 cars I've gone throw a middleman so haven't dealt with a car dealership directly and honestly didn't really want to deal with one directly prior to meeting the team at Riata Ford. They were easy, no pressure negotiation, delivered the car to my door, overnighted licenses plates, etc. Every person I've worked with at Riata Ford has been great. I've had to call them twice since purchasing the car and they were extremely responsive. Hopeful this attitude will continue as the months turn into years on my 2024 ford expedition stealth mode.

Update- On today I had a mobile tech come out because my car breaks started making a loud noise. He inspected my car and told me all my breaks needed to be replaced because there was no lubricant put on the breaks. I called Manir Ford and Randall told me I had a warranty on the breaks. I told him they would never work on anything else I own. Randall was very rude. Do not do business with these people. The mobile tech is costing only $450.00 in which I paid Riata Ford $900.00 plus for the same work they did wrong...... 11/14/2024- Do not let these people work on your car, my front breaks went out sometime in September. I was driving, when all of a sudden, I didn't have breaks. The break line was bad. I paid to get it fixed not knowing it was a recall on the breakline. In November I was getting off of work and had picked up my 4 month grandchild in 7 am traffic when again, I had no breaks. I prayed and made it home. I took the car to Jay's in Elgin Texas which told me that the car has recalls on it and if they fixed it, it would be $920.00. I called Riata and was told they couldn't tell me anything unless I brought the car to them. I had my car towed to the Manor Riata Ford. They kept my car 7 days without me known anything, then the manager called me.and told me they would take care of the break line but the other parts I would have to pay to get it fixed. I paid $900 plus Dollars. At this time I was very upset and wrote a review. Not wanting anything else to do with them. But since my car has been returned when I turn left there is a knock in my car and the RPM keeps losing pressure when in park. I'm very upset and disappointed because NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS WERE HAPPENING UNTIL AFTER WORK WAS DONE BY THIS DEALERSHIP. VERY CONCERNING.

The mess they left me with.

They serviced My Truck's AC. I paid $2800 and they left all the bolts for my compressor loose. I got stuck and had to wait for a TOW. will follow up with them tomorrow. Im so mad!

626 days, 1 year, 8 months, 19 days My New 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid was delivered yesterday; it is truly an impressive small truck (see pics) Lux and BAP package on Carbonized Gray is a great contrast color combination. Has Ford rollup hard Tonneau cover, Copilot 360 and Assist, Splashguards, Moonroof, SIBL with rubber bed Mat. Definitely worth the wait, but I hopefully never go through that order and waiting process again. The dealer experience was very good, Riata Ford in Manor Texas (Austin suburb). I went through a couple sales consultants, but Joshua Esparza, Amanda VanZandt and the Finance Manager; Tony Nguyen went above and beyond to ensure a smooth delivery. No pressure, no Market adjustments and no dealer add-ons or unjustified fees. MSRP with Ford Private Offer for 22MY transition order was applied. I would definitely purchase another Ford from Riata Ford in Manor, Texas.

Today March 18, 2023 There's is no water in the customer water only fridge and this isn't the first time i come here for every oil change and the is no water in this damn fridge, they have vending machines and the only water they have is desani (salt water). Ive left suggestion cards and there's nothing ever in the fridge.

Taking delivery of my brand new 2022 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch AT MSRP! Pure joy.

The team at Riata Ford (Joshua Esparza - Sales, Kevin Wood - GM) were outstanding. From placing and confirming the order for my 2022 Ford Bronco, to delivery and follow-up care, I could not have asked for a more professional, accommodating, or honest experience. My transaction at Riata Ford was zero-pressure, and they worked with me to beat my expectations for my trade in offer, while honoring MSRP on the Bronco I purchased. Jeff in Finance was great, and unlike many other dealers I've bought from, did not attempt to use doomsday scenarios to frighten me into purchasing additional plans I didn't need. I'd like to extend special thanks to Joshua Esparza, the salesman who helped me to place my order, and kept in contact throughout the entire journey. Even though he must have been under incredible strain with the sheer number of Bronco and Maverick orders his dealership handles, he was nothing but calm, kind, and responsive about what he knew, what couldn't be known, and setting my expectations realistically as far as delivery. Luckily, my order arrived earlier than either of us anticipated, and he and his team examined my Bronco upon delivery. There was some transport damage to the driver side mirror and the electronics within, which he replaced within 3 days. Since I completed the purchase after sundown, I didn't see some paint chips until the following day, which he and Kevin agreed to have fixed - no problem, no fuss. The day I arrived to pick up my new Bronco, I came prepared with financing from a credit union, as well as a cashier's check for the down payment. Kevin beat my credit union's interest rate, which was already quite low (825+ credit scores across the board), and made Ford Credit the most attractive option financially. All three of the team who helped me out with my purchase stayed late to ensure the transaction wrapped up smoothly, that I got to know my new vehicle, and was happy as could be driving off that lot. Really, thank you so much for a terrific experience, and for being genuine, honest, and hospitable!

Especially if you're in Manor, but greater Austin residents should consider the short drive to Riata worth it.

In regard to your response Frank I'll expose again why no one should use you. To start I used you…read moreafter the break issue we resolved to give you a shot. I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.
