I've been going here for over a year now and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is chill and laid back and if you have to wait there's a pool table and gaming consoles set up. Shane has been my barber of choice for about the last 6 months+ and he always does an excellent job. Now I didn't hear this but my wife overheard another barber threatening to whoop my €*# because we differ on NFL teams we support? WOW! Prestige is the best barber shop and Shane is the reason why. I took my kids here for the first time back in June last minute because their former barber had major issues. My boys got a same day appointment with Shane and we've been coming back here ever since. Shane is great at what he does. You see his integrity and passion in his work. He's very professional, so no issues with him. I ain't got time for dat! Lol! He's easy to talk to and very down to earth and friendly. I meant to leave this comment a week and a half ago but 1) ive been busy and 2) I wanted to see if I actually liked the way my hair was cut (and growing back) after a day or two (you know how you gotta study it for discrepancies, especially when it's a new barber ). Shane passed. I was very pleased with not only my hair cut, but my overall experience from the time I set my appointment to the time my cut was over. It was The right mix of personal and professional, and even though I scheduled a last minute appointment with Shane (aka @petty_ass_fresh) and was undecided on my cut, Shane helped me figure it out with no attitude, no ego, a big smile, and friendly demeanor. I've been coming here for over 2 years. There is always a good vibe and the customer service is good. Price is decent for a good cut. I've been coming to AJ since I've been coming here. I haven't had one issue with his service or the way that he does my hair. I have a little hair, but he's able to work with it. They have WiFi, just ask for the password. As I was cutting my hair, I was observing the other barbers & they seemed legit on the clean cuts. It's a cool spot w a pool table & game console, but definitely not my type of crowd. Depending on how busy the wait time, isn't that bad. Came here with my son for the past year and we're not really choosey on the barbers each one does a very good job! This time my son did get an amazing cut,but I noticed their prices changed. Before I paid I think 18 before, now 25 for my sons cut. Some others that were decent but in such a rush there was no avoiding error. So generally a good experience all around. This time though, complete polar opposite of anything I had experienced before... I understand that the reason all of this happened was because of my lack of compassion for others ways of life. As well as a small side effect of forgetfulness we could all relate to I made the mistake of leaving an unlit half smoked backwoods blunt behind my ear. Not realizing that I stunk more than a Bob Marley testable. Now I'd be lying if I said this is the first time this is happened... But this is the first time this is happened at a barbershop. The guy cutting my hair Who had done it a couple times previous, was pretty chill and told me that I had something behind my ear so I apologized profusely Iand put it back in my pocket. You would think as grown ups this is where it would've ended... But no. No, first came the whispers and the little schoolgirl giggles from the rest of the workers. Followed by what I can only describe as the Pillsberry doughboy in a muscle T-shirt, children size medium. He made his offended point made when he paraded down the middle of the shop spraying febreeze into the air. And again when he walked back up towards the front making sure he gave a qu glance at me. The kind of glance a chihuahua makes when it hasn't been slapped by a newspaper in a while. It went as far as them trying to interrupt me watching sports center by continuously hitting the input button on the outdated tv directly in front of me. Out of 8 tv's, only one was glitching? Good prank there fellas... jr high called, they would like their pre-pubescent joke back. All in all I give them a 5star review for the quality of work. 5 Stars on ambience. 5 stars on cost and speed. But I give them absolutely Zero stars when it comes to customer service, treating people like human beings, respect, and last but not least... ZERO stars on their late attempts at humor. My son came home from school one day and gave me the flyer and told me in my wife that he want to go there to get his hair cut.
