It's honestly one of the best Dental offices I've been to (and believe me I've seen a lot...). His staff is very professional, his office is clean, his equipment is new and his touch and demeanor are gentle. Before seeing Dr. B, my previous Dentist had me convinced that I was barely functional in the ways of Dental hygiene, despite daily flossing and twice to thrice daily brushing. I used to get cleanings 3-4 times a year and half expected to need dentures by age 50. But Dr. B has me down to 2 annual cleanings (standard) and reinforces my quality home care. I have been very lucky over the past several years with picking dentists. Since 2014, I've lived in San Diego, Palm Desert, and now Pasadena. My new dentist is great! The dental hygienist really listened to me when I told him that I have a narrow mouth and need to use a child's block to keep my jaw open since I have TMJ. In addition, he slathered on the numbing gel so I felt nothing during the cleaning. I get my teeth cleaned 3x a year, and it feels nice to look forward to a cleaning, rather than dreading it. I had very good experience with this dental office! I got my appointment for the check up. They have pretty long form to fill out but you can't even count it like a minus. So for 99$ I got my teeth checked, x-ray and cleaning and it's without insurance!!! The customer service is very good and professional! They not trying to push and sell you some services, they would do their job, let you know about your teeth health and give you some recommendations. That's why if you're like me, person who need to get their teeth checked and don't have insurance, this place is definitely what you're looking for! Yesterday was my second visit to Prestige Dental, after my dentist of 25 years retired. I continue to be highly impressed with the professionalism and state of the art of this office-- a major step up in the quality of my dental care. Dr. Doudian is excellent. I say that after spending nearly two hours in the chair while she drilled out an old filling and completed the first steps of installing a new cap on that tooth. Not a fun way to spend a couple of hours, but in her skilled hands, it was more than bearable. The whole staff here is top drawer. I am glad I found Dr. B in Pasadena - I have had different dentists over the years in different States, so I have been around the "Dentistry Alley" in terms of who I think makes a great dentist; I have been seeing Dr. B for two years now and I finally feel confident enough to say he is now the dentist that's worth flying back to California to see, after many months of traveling. I get very picky because it is a hard job already for a patient to sit still with his or her mouth open for at least an hour for any dental work to be completed, Dr. B is very respectful of both his patients as well as his staff that he works with, which makes the whole dentistry office very pleasant to walk into for my six-months cleaning. Appointments are easy to make, I get text reminders when I get closer to the appointment as well. The reception is very clean and the receptionist is always cheerful and pleasant. This review is a long time coming. It was a bitter sweet day for me today as I had my last appt with Prestige Dental and Dr. B. To say he is the best dentist I have ever had doesn't really do him and his staff justice. They are all so amazing. I have been with them since 2018 and each time I am getting any work done his staff does an amazing job of taking care of me and making sure everything is good. Dr. B takes the time to explain everything in such great detail and always makes sure I am comfortable during the whole process. I had an emergency a few months ago that needed a root canal and they got me in same day and referred me to a specialist. The office staff and all the dental hygienists and assistants are very friendly and accommodating to your needs. I am so happy and relieved to have met Dr. B and his staff! Going to the dentist has always given me a bit of anxiety due to past unpleasant experiences. I was so blown away not only by Dr. B's professionalism, skill, and knowledge but you could also tell he cares about his patients and truly loves what he does. I had a wisdom tooth extraction/ oral surgery today and I could not believe how painless the procedure was !! Meaning there was NO pain; even the anesthesia shot was not painful. This proves his level of skill and experience. He even made me laugh several times during the procedure putting me at ease the whole time. (I have had 3 removed by other dentists before which were highly painful or uncomfortable even after local anesthesia). His dental technician Leslie was also so pleasant and made me feel so comfortable ! Julie at the front desk is also so kind! Post surgery: 6 hours later, this is the first time out of all my wisdom tooth extractions that I don't feel miserable. I am happily eating my yogurt and ice cream as I write this review! At first I was skeptical about all the 5 star reviews but now I can confirm why based on my own experience!
