First and foremost this review is long overdue. My name is Ashley. I have been a patient of Doctor Bella's for a while now. I found Doctor Bella on ZocDoc. From the moment I walked in the office the normal dread of going to the dentist faded away. It felt more like going to a spa, where you are greeted with smiling faces (Jordan) and a calming atmosphere. The most amazing part of the service is the service. Doctor Bella is so knowledgeable and has all the high tech equipment in case you're into that. My favorite part of going to the dentist beside Doctor Bella is Jo!!!!!! Jo, is hands down one of the nicest women I've ever met. She welcomes you with her subtle yet cheery, professional demeanor and makes you feel like family. Her attention to detail on your teeth is astounding and the best part is that Jo just like Doctor Bella does not make you feel bad about any issues you may have with your teeth. They talk to you with care and advise you on the best way to handle or solve any issue. They understand we are all not made of money and keep your best interest at heart. Because of Jo, I will be a lifelong patient of Prestige Dental. She has made me enjoy every trip to the dentist office and calms any nerves I may have. It is not often I rave about going to the doctors, although when you think of it we all should a little more.... They do help to keep up feeling great and functioning. I get to see Jo tomorrow and I am so looking forward to my visit. Jo doesn't just treat you like a patient she treats you like family. Throughout my life, I had never been the biggest fan of going to the dentist. I must say, however that this all changed when I first visited prestige dental. Upon entering the office, I immediately noticed how warm and accommodating the pre-appointment waiting area was~from their refrigerator stocked with bottled waters and self brew coffee maker to the comfortable seating and free wifi, I must say that I genuinely was able to relax and enjoy my time while waiting for my appointment to begin. As for the staff, they are absolutely remarkable and most definitely go out of their way to make you feel at home! When I was seated in the chair I was given a warm neckwrap (which felt wonderful) and the option of watching Netflix, which I politely declined, but it was still awesome that the option to do so was there! The hygienist, Sharon, did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth (whereas every other dentist I had been to in the past was a painful experience because my gums can be extremely sensitive sometimes), and that being said, I can definitely say that I will be returning to Prestige for many followup appointments :) Before leaving, Tamara, who is absolutely wonderful, helped me make payment on what remaining money I owed and I was on my way! I've been a loyal patient at Prestige Dental for over 10 years since I moved to Seattle, and I can confidently say that I've had nothing but excellent experiences each time. Dr. Makagon and the entire staff go above and beyond to make sure patients feel cared for and comfortable, always providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. When it came time for me to get Invisalign, the process was incredibly smooth and well-managed from start to finish. I ended up completing two rounds of treatment because, after the first round, Dr. Makagon suggested a second round to achieve absolute perfection, and the best part? There was no additional cost for that! This level of care really shows their commitment to ensuring the best possible outcome for their patients. The cleanings I've received over the years have been equally great. The hygienists are so gentle, professional, and attentive, making what can often be an uncomfortable experience really pleasant. The office itself is modern, spotless, and equipped with great amenities. I especially appreciate the option to watch Netflix during treatments, it's a small but thoughtful touch that helps take your mind off things. I felt I needed to review on Yelp instead of Google based off the amount of 1 star ratings. I will say in terms of major dental work I've had my wisdom teeth removed and a crown put on. I don't know if the people with poor experiences have had more intense work done but I LOVE this place. I hated going to the dentist my entire life. I ended up getting my wisdom teeth taken out here by chance and had such a great experience I came back for normal dental work. I no longer dread going to the dentist - this practice has changed my view on it completely. I have soft teeth, I had a lot of cavities as a kid and I haven't had a single one since switching to this office (3 years). Dr. Makagon and her staff are amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone. They take the time to actually educate you on proper dental hygiene which I believe is key in the health industry. Dr. Makagon and her staff are very skilled and completely professional, they do good work. I've been working with them on a range of dental problems for at least a year now, and I am sincerely glad I did so - dental health is greatly improved, with no follow on issues, or work flaws at all. Another dentist whom I met through a friend who examined crowns and other work was very impressed. The entire office is very modern and efficient, they make use of latest technology for virtually everything. The business and people are all very flexible, friendly, and accommodating -- they bend over backwards to fit your schedule, and they work with clients to produce plans that emphasize best results for costs, with any insurance plan you have. I'm not a big fan when it comes to the dentist but this office made a huge difference for me. They truly care. Dr. Makagon follows up with a phone call and makes sure your voice is heard. The front office staff is very friendly. I never had an issue with insurance with them...they tell you what you need to pay and tell you about their strict financial policy upfront which they really stick to. The expectations are all laid out in front of you and you just have to show up to your appointments. I really like the hygienist Lisa who is very knowledgeable and educates you to the fullest. She gives you all the information you need in order to keep your teeth for a long time. They don't mess around, they are serious, efficient and professional. I've been coming here for a little over 3 years now and my experience has been amazing. The facility is clean and beautiful. The minute you walk in you see flowers, fresh scent of candles, coffee, and cold water. The waiting area feels very much like a living room in a home and you immediately forget that you are at the dentist's office. It's peaceful and relaxing. The staff is very helpful and attentive. After a dental procedure, they offer a protein shake so you won't stay hungry since the mouth is all numb. I had a graft procedure with Dr. Quinn and it was a wonderful experience. He called to follow up on me to make sure I was doing well and then saw me for a follow up visit two weeks later which shows that they continuously care for the patients. What a fantastic experience! I have bounced from dentist to dentist, but I think i finally found one that I like. First of all, any dentist that offers valet parking is off and running with a good first impression. The office itself is super modern. I filled out my paperwork online, so I didn't have to bother with the clipboard on my lap routine. The doctor is great - she probed around in my mouth, and then showed me the x-rays and photos that she took. She made it obvious why she was recommending to do the treatment. Here's the best part - once the doctor explained what she was going to do, she gave me a set of headphones and a remote to the tv. I got to watch two episodes of 24 on Netflix while she was completing the treatment. Anyway - go there - you'll see for yourself. read more

I love coming here. They are very kind and thorough and take their time with everything that they do. The office is beautiful and clean. In fact, I don't think I've been to a dental office like this one before. The receptionists remind you of your appointments all the time which I really like. I tend to forget sometimes with my busy schedule. They have also helped accomodate me on several occasions now when I was out of town and needed to get in prior to my trips. I was really pleased by the care I received in this office. I originally came in for just a cleaning and an exam. Dr. Makagon found that one of the teeth had a large cavity that was "close to the nerve". I really did not want to get ANOTHER root canal. Doc told me that she would try to clean and restore the tooth. To make the long story short, the procedure was painless, the office has a decor of a virgin america aircraft with comfortable chairs, modern decor and soothing music and I left the office with a white filling and no root canal. whoaa!!! I am definitely coming back here for a next checkup (I really hope that she won't find any more cavities). read more

I am having a hard time understanding negative reviews about this office. I have been a patient in this practice and have never had a better dentist. I have referred multiple family and friends and everyone has been thrilled with their experience. Dr. Makagon's staff provides superior customer service, have always tried to find a convenient appointment time and have provided a superior standard of care. I recently had an emergency with a root canal tooth that ended up having an infection. Doctor came in on a Saturday to see me. This is hands down the best practice in the South Lake Union area!! I've never had such awesome customer service from a Dental Office before- (and not many other businesses for that matter). Every single member of the staff is on the top of their game. I was comfortable during the procedure and had very little discomfort afterwards. They even showed me my x-rays, which means everything to me since I have background in medical work. They didn't assume that I couldn't understand what I was looking at, which is what most places do. The communication via email and text just makes it that much easier to work with them. prestige dental has been my dental office for the last 7 years. i love going there because the staff is nice, professional and caring and not to mention knowledgeable.
