She created a clear, customized treatment plan that addressed not only my current needs but also the damage left by previous dental work that was done a month. At this point I've had a pretty extensive amount of dental work done at Dr. Osundeko's office. She and her staff are very good, and I've never had any issues with billing--they always gave me a careful accounting of what something would cost before I came in for it. I would have kept going to her office had I not moved out of Seattle. Two things that make her office stand out: 1. The quality of her work and care are remarkable. I have never had a dentist as good as Dr. Osundeko is at pain management--I'm one of those people who's just hard to get fully numb, much to the chagrin of my past dentists, but I never felt a thing with Dr. Osundeko. I also had my new dentist remark without prompting that the crowns Dr. Osundeko did were extremely well done. 2. Dr. Osundeko herself has an amazing bedside manner--she's super friendly and gentle with her patients, and is straightforward without being judgmental. Also had Amy as my hygienist, who was always so nice to work with and really knew her stuff. I always felt like I was in good hands. Before I start this review I want to acknowledge I was the one that made an error. I was supposed to have my first appointment yesterday after searching for a dentist that took my insurance (coordinated care/providerone). I saw online somewhere and they were listed unfortunately that information was incorrect. But not knowing that I scheduled an appointment which was a month out. Unfortunately I was not aware there were forms they wanted filled out prior to my appointment or they'd cancel. I hastily filled them out and returned them. That's when I found out they didn't take my insurance. Their communication could be better. I'm used to medical/debtal/vision practices over communicating which they do not so I missed the communication that said I had forms to fill out. Had I noticed this sooner I would have known sooner that my insurance was not accepted. During all this the staff I spoke with were informative, kind and apologetic. I was sad not to be seeing them. The moral of this story is fill out your forms as soon as possible and if there's any doubt call ahead to make sure your insurance is accepted. I have nothing but praise for these folks. I wish they took my insurance.i have since learned that they take the insurance I mentioned for kids but not adults. That seems like it was the confusion. read more

This is the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Osundeko is friendly, extremely accommodating, and has a gentle touch. She also listens to patients and goes out of her way to ensure their comfort. I also very much appreciate the gender-affirming communication and having my pronouns and communication preferences respected. Plus, when she found a cavity during my routine cleaning, she was able to accommodate me and get it filled right then instead of making me wait a week or two like other dentists do. And she made sure to respect my need for extra anesthetic as well; most dentists don't believe me when I say I need extra and then end up needing to do a second round of numbing. --BEWARE-- This office is awful. They don't have any dental hygienists on staff and use a random temp service instead. If a temp isn't available, your appointment will be canceled with NO notice. This office canceled my appointment THREE times in a row, each right before my appointment was supposed to start. That's three times my work and child care arrangements were dashed, and I still haven't seen the dentist. The one time I actually made it into the office, the place was filthy and the front office gave me the wrong bill. Spare yourself the headaches and go literally anywhere else. read more

Dr. Osundeko is extremely invested in her patients and totally judgement free! Honestly, it had been several years (I think the last dentist appointment was made by my mother, I'm 30...) since I had been to the dentist and new to the area. I found White Center Smiles through my employers insurance as an in-network provider and needed a quick appointment due to an unbearable toothache. The hygienist was very pleasant, she went over the xray results, and some other testing along with a pain free cleaning. She made it clear I would need some additional work due to the lack of dental cleaning over many years which I kind of expected and was definitely avoiding. The most impressive and memorable part of the visit was Dr. Osundeko's greeting to me. After she looked at my teeth and the testing that was already done, she asked me how long since I had been to the dentist. I was honest and said it had been SEVERAL years and her response took my breath away. She responded very genuinely stating she was glad I made it in to get my teeth back on track! I did end up needing quite a bit of work and her front desk staff was fantastic about explaining what was and wasn't covered by insurance, my out of pocket expenses and the time frame between each part of work I needed done. I've been back several times at this point and each visit is nothing but pleasant, despite the work being done in my mouth. Have been coming here for over a year now and it's the best dentist experience i've had. everyone on staff is very professional but also very warm and make you feel at ease. They have a lot of newer technologies in the office that i've never seen before. Today I needed to get a crown for a molar. They used 3D imaging to make a digital model of my tooth and it was made on site the same day. It's saying a lot when I say that even though it was a long process, it was the most comfortable that i've had. :) I'd def recommend to my friends. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Went for first exam and was very impressed. Then I had a deep cleaning using a laser. Worst experience ever. Assistant could not numb me appropriately. The way shots were administered was different than I had ever experienced before. Very painful. After 5 or 6 shots, proceeded with laser which left me screaming in the chair. Since I was scheduled to get the other side of my mouth done a few weeks later, I called to discuss what happened and if there was something else that could be done. Even with insurance, I still had to pay $600 so wanted to make sure I was not going to pay to be tortured again. Was told they would talk to the team and get back to me. I NEVER heard back. I even reached out once to check in. It's been a couple of months. read more

I just wanted to share that the new team in place in transitioning very nicely, and I am pleased to continue to being a patient. They were able to take me in on the same day during the Thanksgiving week. It was a busy time for their clinic and I had to wait for a few minutes before being called in. The staff including the doctor, dental hygenists, and front desk attendants are wonderful and friendly. They referred me right away to a maxillofacial surgery team that accepts my insurance, on the same day. I really appreciate their efficiency in the transition of care. I have also set an appointment for a general check-up and cleaning before my oral surgery. It was a great experience despite the tooth ache. What made my experience positive are the friendly staff, efficient transition of care, and I am looking forward to going back for a regular oral health care. Highly recommend! read more

A little over a year after I got my dental procedures done I got a surprise bill. I spoke with Peggy and was originally told it was for a crown. I never got a crown done. Then I was told it was for a crown build up. (I maxed out my insurance and paid the rest out of pocket on the spot.) She then said the bills are all just estimates and that I am out of time to do anything about it with my insurance/ credit card company. Their time limit is 10 days which does not give the insurance company enough time to send paperwork. White Center Smiles is a really sketchy business preferring money over patient care. Mind you this is during the pandemic. read more

I liked the staff there they were nice but I was told by them I had 8 cavities which didn't seem right. I got a 2nd opinion at another dentist and I only had 2. So they were trying to upsell me hundred of dollars. Very deceitful and sneaky if you go here get a 2nd opinion from another dentist. read more
