Overcharged: I had agreed on a price beforehand, however, my hairstylist was sick. I was rescheduled with another stylist. At no point was a price change mentioned. When I brought the price discrepancy to my stylist's, Randi, attention, she simply told me her rates. I contacted the manager, Kriten, who said it wasn't her job to tell me there was a price difference. I left a message on Randi's phone requesting her to honor the original price due to the quality of service and inadequate communication. She never returned my call but did refund the price difference. However, she kept the original tip percentage without reaching out - which I found presumptuous and unprofessional. Upon my arrival, the manager was loudly gossiping with a client in the front office about another client's marriage. I waited 15 minutes before she acknowledged my presence. From the moment they touch your head at that shampoo bowl, your problems melt away for the next 45 minutes. I tend to have wavy frizzy hair very hard to tame myself, these girls KNOW what they're doing... giving me a smooth flawless finish. Her salon is adorable, she changes the decor with the seasons and her sitting area is cute enough to have a cup of tea or glass of wine while she's at work. When you need an appointment, you'll text her assistant and she'll coordinate what works best - Mary Ann is off on Sunday's but I never had a problem finding an appointment.
