I love getting my hair done at Blo, by the girls and especially Ashley. The ladies have such outgoing personalities, it makes the atmosphere so fun. From the moment they touch your head at that shampoo bowl, your problems melt away for the next 45 minutes. I tend to have wavy frizzy hair very hard to tame myself, these girls KNOW what they're doing... giving me a smooth flawless finish. I completely understand why it's so hard to get in with a certain stylist or time when they have built that clientele over the years... of course time is money honey and patience is virtue, they sure do deliver quality service.... Sam did an amazing job creating the hairstyle that I wanted for a weekend girls trip. She was very friendly and warm to talk to. The shopping center they are located in is pretty cool, and has some quaint area businesses. I'm only giving it four stars because Sam's nails were too long and kept poking me and she kept burning me with the hairdryer. Other than that I highly recommend. read more

Well, today is the third appointment Blo has canceled after I have a confirmation and before my appointment is scheduled to take place. Last week, this week and the beginning of December. It is hard having a membership at this business and scheduling appointments with stylist if they continue to cancel, and you cannot rely on them. Like most others I use blow dry services when I have events cancel medical appointments or some reason to have my hair professionally done and this is gotten beyond frustrating. owner did not contact me back and asked that I sent her an email and again today I've sent a message to her asking for contact. read more

I was incredibly skeptical about this place. Or rather I've always been skeptical about the whole blow dry bar concept. Well I'm 100000% converted. I'll absolutely be back. I opted for the deep condition with my blow out. They didn't stick me under a hot dryer, just let the product soak into my hair at the sink. Once I was washed an ready, I got offered a drink, and my Blo experience really began. Please note that my hair is thick, longish, and curly, I knew I was going to be there a while. I sat mostly on my phone with occasional chit chat w/ my stylist. The whole process took almost two hours. It was SUPER cold in the place, and there was a gust of cold air every time someone opened the door. I legitimately took a mental note to remove a star for having the A/C on so low on such a cold day. BUT when my blowout was complete, I put that star right back on. The blow dry and flatiron work was so good. I never once felt it get too hot and she still got close to my scalp. read more

My experience with my stylist at Blo Dry Bar-Dominion Ridge (Itzel) was great. I was disappointed when I returned a week later to exchange some hair products that I didn't like and was told - they have a NO RETURN policy on products. I was not informed of this when I purchased the products. I made it known that I didn't want a refund, just an exchange and the employee- repeated again "we have a NO RETURN" policy on products. Don't purchase products there unless you are 100% sure you can use them. read more

I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. We had an outdoor sunset photo shoot later this evening and we selected this place as it was relatively close to our location. There was three of us. Me and my daughters 13 and 5. Veronica, who did both of my daughters' hair was awesome. The other lady (did not get her name) who did my hair left it ok. I asked for my hair straight with a bend, which after I brushed it, it came out that way , but it didnt look that way when finished. My daughter got the makeup for eyes option and I got the full makeup. Her makeup looked great. Mine was horrifying. Mine looked like it was 5 shades too dark. It was so dark you couldn't see the blush. If I could upload the photo, you can actually see what I mean. I ended up wiping most of the foundation off and went to a Walgreens to get a blush and eye pencil to savage what was left. Am I pissed, absolutely, but they ended up charging me way less than the projected total. Cannot recommend them. read more

I went in to get my hair done for family pictures, I had it washed and styled while sipping champagne. Very relaxing. The only reason I rated a 4 star instead of 5 is, while my hair dresser was polite it was very awkward sitting there with no conversation. My conversation attempts with her failed which made it a little uncomfortable. Other than that the service was excellent and I loved my hair! read more
