They tried to change the battery, but the watch still wouldn't work... they told me that the watch was "totaled" and beyond repair. They were the only people to have ever opened the back of this watch. I took it up to Chester's in Parma, and he immediately asked if someone else had worked on the watch before. He showed me that "whoever" tried to change the battery had ripped out a few components, actually showing me what the missing pieces were... Don Basch broke my watch, then claimed it was unfixable. Chester fixed my watch same-day, it's working again! Not giving 1 star because the storefront is nice and clean, people are friendly, and they did a good job cleaning my wife's wedding ring.

Mike waited on me and I told him that I wanted to use one (Mom's loyalty ring) ring band to enforce and fix my Dad's class ring. I also told him about a necklace that was pulling my hair out at the nape of my neck that I wanted to get rid of because I heard they buy gold there too. One week later, I had my Dad's ring back on my finger, the hair grabbing necklace sold and a check for the left over gold. I can't even explain how grateful I am to find a Jewelers that I trust. Mike also looked at a bunch of old jewelry that I wanted to get rid of and let me know what was gold and what wasn't. You can not go wrong visiting and trusting Gino's. I received an advertising newsletter in the mail several weeks ago, and Gem-Crafters was one of the businesses featured. The owner is also a Kent State University alum (go Flashes!), so I kept the mailer, and finally took my rings in two days ago. The cost was so reasonable that I asked him to re-size three rings and repair a broken bracelet, and left the items with him. He called the following day to let me know the work was done, and that I could pick them up at my convenience. While-you-wait repairs are available, the owner will clean your jewelry at no cost, and he welcomed my dog (dog-friendly businesses have a special place in my heart). I took a few of his business cards to give to friends who've told me how much they paid for jewelry repairs, and how long they had to wait.
