This was the dilemma...my son's senior prom was on a Saturday and I talked to him three days earlier (Wednesday) of how he was gonna get there. I told them I drive by there business everyday since we live closeby. The gentleman tells me he's all out of stretch limos that weekend but a towncar is available. I said, "I'll take it." Then he says since you live closeby and the situation is quite funny, he'll charge me the weekday rate instead of the weekend rate. Given that it's a holiday weekend and prom season is in full swing, I was able to secure a limo from them. The driver showed up right on time and the rest is history. I hired them for my sons Sr Ball. They were horrible! The driver was rude & acted put out all night for doing the job he was paid for. The privacy window was broken, the speakers were blown, he refused to take the kids where they wanted to go. He picked up a woman at a gas station and gave her a ride, he tried to leave the kids 2X before their time was up. I called and complained and heard excuse after excuse and then insulted and hung up on. It was bad enough the driver was terrible, but the owners did nothing to make it right! I only needed one for a few hours for my parents 50 wedding anniversary so we could take them to dinner locally and not worry about driving. Prestige Limousine has become my "go to" limousine service. There prices are competitive. I have used them several times now and each time it gets better and better. I have been able to contact my friend Sal there at the service when I have friends or VIPs coming to town and I can't stop what I'm doing to pick them up or drop them off from SFO. Sal is always very polite and attentive. I have been simply requesting town cars as of late and they have been very clean,the drivers professional and polite. It's nice when you don't have to think about whether your guests will be picked up on time. I called Prestige a few days before my daughter's wedding to see if they could provide a limo for the bride, groom and as many of the wedding party as possible to the hotel. Everything was within a 5 mile radius, but this was completely last minute! Heather was great on the phone and was able to find a 10 passenger limo that wasn't already booked (prom weekend!!). She gave us a reasonable rate and explained that they would be able to make a second pickup if needed. On the night of the wedding, the limo was there as promised and Heather was the driver! : ) She was very friendly, professional, patient, and made certain that the wedding party got to the hotel safely and had fun in the process! Horrendous just begins to sum it up. The limo had no ice, it was old, and the driver barely spoke English so he had difficulty communicating with us. He went north on 101 in Petaluma when we were headed south to the Giants game in SF. He had literally no knowledge of SF streets, did not use a navigation system and consequently we were 30 minutes late and missed the first 2 innings. On the trip home, he hit a dog in the road and did not stop! The owners were on the side of the road trying to get their pet out of dangers way. Very, very disturbing for all of us. I called this company about a 10 mile, one-way trip from the airport for 8 people in a Sprinter van. He quoted me at $575 which I made a comment that that was steep and I had reserved for less before. He told me that if I wanted cheap, go get a taxi and promptly hung up on me. I made reservations with Prestige Limousine for my 30th bday trip to Sonoma to go wine tasting. The reservation process went very well, but I had a horrible experience with the driver. While he did arrive on time, this would be the only thing he accomplished all day. He and asked me where I wanted to go first, and I told him I wanted to go to Oakville Grocery in Healdsburg to pick up another friend and then we were going to a winery close by. I even had a map of Sonoma County that I showed him and pointed to Healdsburg. He proceeded to take us to NAPA!!! It wasn't until I realized that there was another Oakville Grocery in Napa, that I spoke up and asked him again where he was headed. This little mistake cost me 1/2 hour of time. While it was an honest mistake (we all make them) he yelled at me when we arrived at the first winery. He said that had he known we wanted to go to Sonoma and not Napa ahead of time, the hourly rate would have been higher because of gas usage. I pointed out that when I made the reservation, I told the agent that I wanted to go to Sonoma, but there was no reasoning with him at this point. On the way to the second winery, he again cost us 15 minutes because he passed the tasting room (which we had to point out). He claimed he was taking us to the vineyard! Why would I want to go to the vineyard? The 3rd winery that I had reservations at (which at this point we're a full hour or two behind), the driver could not find at all! He kept asking ME for directions - which is not a smart thing to do considering we were a car full of 30 year olds that have been drinking all day!!! In the end, I had to pay for an additional hour. When I tried to point out the fact that he was the one that drove erroneously and got lost on multiple occasions, he threatened to call the police on me. Since I was in the middle of entertaining out of town guests, I decided to pay him and deal with the company later. The following Monday, I called the headquarters and spoke with my original agent and she listened to my story and told me that she would review the GPS tracking for the limo and get back to me. I have called several times and have yet to get this issue resolved. This was a total waste of money. I would never use them again! read more

Completely ridiculous customer service! After being 2.5 hours late, and ruining the carefully planned day, the manager said that since we could use the limo for the amount of time we booked, that a big discount was not due to us. Instead of going to the wineries that we had planned to go to (which were now closed), the limo could take us shopping or something! I'm generally not a picky person when it comes to service, but I feel that as the customer I shouldn't have to negotiate to get compensation for a day turned sour by this company - particularly multiple times over. The manager called me multiple times during the rest of the day to take back what he had said in previous conversations, wasting my time and the rest of my party's time. Word to the wise - this place is the opposite of "stress free" as they advertise. Definitely not worth it! read more

DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MY WEDDING!!!! I knew we were in trouble when they couldn't push the time up a measly 15 minutes. Usually "on time" for a good limo company is 15 minutes early anyway. Despite arranging almost 2 months prior, I got a call at the ABSOLUTE last minute that their limo broke down (ya right) and then that their "plan b" was stuck in traffic (that is not a plan b! and why didn't they call me earlier???). Sal said they wouldn't be able to get there till after I was supposed to walk down the aisle. Made the whole day so stressful and they couldn't have cared less that I didn't have a way to get to my own wedding. My Man and I have used this company for many things over the past several years, for personal and for business. In regards to the recent requests that I have, I feel like the company and the cars are losing its special touch that I originally loved about them for being a family owned business. The cars are beginning to look a little older, run down, not as clean, and a lot more wear and tear. With the recent call that I made, requesting a larger car for transportation on this coming up Saturday, a wonderful customer friendly woman quoted me an excellent price due to not only being an ongoing customer but because they tend to have great pricing. She put me on hold for at least 20 minutes to confirm that the details and special requests that I nave requested would be okay. After speaking with the woman late last night, I called again earlier this morning to book the car services that I needed and was told by a not so friendly gentle man on the phone that he never had a car to accommodate my group and that the quote that I was provided and put into my account for notes the night before is completely incorrect. I am all for understanding that things become no longer available but to tell me that a car was never available, I am wondering how they would have handled this situation if I had booked last night. After being a customer to this company for a while now and using them for every sports, concert, wine, special evening out, business transportation and airport transportation, I am not sure that I will ever be using them again. I would recommend to pay slightly higher costs than to be not sure if a car will be available and that the car showing up is in the condition it should be for the amount of money being paid for luxury. read more

We were leaving for SFO for Thanksgiving Holiday and needed a stretch to fit car seats and Grandma and Grandpa so we scheduled early and left specific instructions and phone number to find the house. I used this limo service for the very first time and the driver was an hour early for pick up which I thought was a good thing as we got into the limo it was fully stocked with stem ware but No vodka or whisky as mentioned when you make a reservation but some champagne over to the side which looked like it had been sitting there for a few months. Marvin drove us to our destination we arrived on time but on the way home he got lost due to negligence of not having navigation except on his phone. We ended up in Los Banos and the driver said it was our fault for not guiding him back to the original destination. As we went to pay Marvin, he decided that we as customers should pay for an additional hour due to his incompetence of not knowing the bay area and charged our card $150.00 over the amount that was due. Finally we made it back to San Jose after a 45 minute drive of being lost as Marvin proceeded to take the rest of my guests home he was rude and very unprofessional. I later find out that Marvin is only a shuttle man and Prestige Limousine decided to have him drive last minute. Be aware if you decide to use this shady company!!!! read more

I wanted to try a limo service for airport pickup and drop off in Napa because I thought it would be easier than getting a rental SUV. We have 15 month old and the thought of taking him through the car rental tram and the wait in line would put us over the edge after a 6 hour flight. Prestige sent over the oldest limo they had. It is number 27 on the front license plate. It is a white stretch limo and must have been from the early 1990's. The ceiling lights that wrapped around the entire interior were hanging by a thread and the limo had dusty ashtrays. In addition the left back seat window didn't work so there was a 4 inch gap. Everyone knows San Francisco is windy. The extra breeze and sunlight did not help my baby boy go to sleep for the next hour and half which he sorely needed. We asked the driver if he could roll it up and he said that it was broken and he couldnt do anything about it. That was our first impression with Prestige. We were not impressed. The unfortunate part is that I had hired them for our pick up from Napa and they had a 7 day cancellation policy so it was too late to cancel without a monetary penalty. This return limo ride was the ride from hell! The limo driver showed up 10 minutes late. Luckily I had planned on a lot of traffic from Napa to San Francisco on a Saturday morning. Next, I noticed that the driver was text messaging and talking on his cell phone. I started getting nervous when he was constantly looking away from the road to text message. He never did speed but he was driving erratically since he was focused on his cell phone the whole time. Cars were honking at us as he was weaving in and out of traffic. Because of this, my poor baby got car sick and threw up in his car seat. HIs vomit never got in the limo but his car seat and his clothes were covered in old milk. We had to change his clothes in the limo and the driver asked us if we wanted him to pull over to a gas station. We were able to change his outfit so we said not to pull over unless he wanted to. He never did pull over. By the time we got to the airport, my baby and I were so car sick that when we got out, we both vomited outside on the sidewalk. My poor baby! The limo driver watched my husband take out the car seat and then he accused my husband of changing our baby's diaper in the limo during the ride and that is why he asked us if we wanted to pull over to a gas station. My husband who is a really calm person told the limo driver that we did not change the diaper. We only changed his clothes because the baby got car sick. The limo driver started to verbally attack my husband and continued to accuse him of changing our baby's diaper. We had no idea that this man was going to become so angry and aggressive. He followed my husband to the sidewalk and started using the F-word over and over again. He kept yelling, "Your F-ing baby vomited in my limo. You F-ing low-lives". The cursing became so much that my husband finally yelled back at the limo driver and he told him to stop cursing in front of our baby. We had a small crowd of people watching since we were in front of the United drop-off. We were stunned that this man went on such a tirade in front of so many people. Believe me, we did not antagonize this man. We kept telling him that we didnt change the diaper and the baby threw up because he was driving erratically when he was texting and talking on his cell phone. He finally stopped screaming at us, marched over to his limo and took off. 2 minutes later, he came back and threw our box of wine at us. We were stunned! Not only did he throw the box at us, but he continued to scream the F-word and threatened to charge us for a limo cleaning. I said that the baby did not get any vomit in the limo since it fell into our baby's car seat. That is when he started pointing at our baby and yelling the F-word at our son. I finally lost it. No sane person points their finger and yells at a baby. That is absolutely unnecessary. He scared my baby so much that my son started crying. I then yelled at him that I was going to report him for texting and talking on his cell phone. I think that got his attention because he finally left. People were coming up to us and asking if we needed help. I dont think we quite grasped the situation but we probably should have asked someone to call for security. The limo driver was completely out of control and his reaction to our baby's car sickness was just crazy. I called Prestige immediately and the dispatcher said he would look into this. After we flew home, I called Prestige to complain. The owner said she contracted another limo company called Royal Class. Apparently these limo companies contract to each other when they run out of limos. Neither company will tell me the driver's name. We found out you can report issues to the California Public Utilities Commission. 1-800-894-9444 Dont use Prestige or Royal Class. read more

NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I hired them for a night out on the town. I paid 91 dollars an hour and it was the worst service I have ever used in my life. The bar was not stocked at all. The driver was a complete ASS HOLE! He wouldnt drive people home when they wanted to go home, and eventually charged one person 40 dollars in cash to take her home. Then he charged her credit card an additional time for 40 dollars. Also, at the end of the trip, he dropped us off 5 blocks from our destination and left, leaving people to walk home. Zero stars, or better, negative stars should be an option. I have used car services countless times. Never have I had an experience this bad, odd, ill-planned, or unprofessional. Driver called AT PICKUP TIME to let me know he was going to be 10-15 minutes late, then called again (15 minutes AFTER pickup time) notifying me he couldn't get into my community because either A) the instructions given during booking weren't followed, or B) they were ignored. He then chose the most odd and unnecessary route ever to get to my first stop. This was Saturday midday. No traffic to deal with. Windy, bumpy country road from Discovery Bay to Danville. He spend 50% of the first leg of our trip on the phone with his wife. I didn't ask why...but wait for it, its a great reason for a car service to need to be on the phone! There were two problems in play...1) car was nearly out of gas, and 2) he didn't have a credit card. Enter said wife. We had to go meet his wife at a gas station so we would have adequate fuel to reach our destination. Read that again. You read it right! Once done filling and already close to an hour behind schedule, he might as well duck inside for a restroom break. We pickup the remainder or our party and head about our day. We arrive to our party in SF over an hour late. Driver gives me his cell as there is nowhere to park and says to text/call him when we are ready. Fast forward a couple of hours. I place the call and am told to head to the drop off location. Much to our surprise we are greeted by a different driver . Very nice guy, but odd to be picked up by someone else because the other driver "wasnt working out". Remainder of the ride was fine and we got home safely. Never will I use this service again and never would I recommend it. I was offered zero discount for my experience and received zero calls from anyone once my credit card payment had posted. I dont know how businesses like this stay afloat. Its a shame that good businesses go down every day and disasters like this one dont! read more

For my 21st birthday my aunt generously rented a limo from this company for a night out bar hopping in SF. I was told that pick up was going to be at 8 so at around 7:30 I called the limo service to make sure that the driver would pick us up on time and knew the location that we were to be picked up at. The person I spoke to was very courteous and told me that he would call my driver and tell him to give me a call when he was in the area. 15 mins later, my driver, Faried, called me to tell me he was downstairs. When we got to the limo, we were greeted very kindly Faried and he helped us make decisions on where to go for dinner and made suggestions as to where we could go in terms of bars, lounges, and clubs. Going from place to place, Faried made sure that he was always outside and ready to pick us up! When we asked him to take photos of us, he was very sweet to make sure that we had the perfect photo and he did a really good job of taking care of us and making sure that we were enjoying the night. The limo itself was very nice, very clean, and stocked with water, sodas, and other refreshments. Overall, my experience with Prestige Limousine was outstanding. The customer service was awesome and the experience made my 21st very memorable. read more

I would recommend Prestige Limousine, I spoke with a man named Saul who had spoke with booking the limousine and answered all of my questions that I had and he also had good costumer service. I booked them for my 21st Birthday to go to San Francisco for the night. A man named Saul was our driver, he was on time and called me 10 minutes before pick up and said to come out when we were ready. Limousine was clean when we first stepped into and stocked with champagne. The Limo also had a great sound system, don't forget to bring an aux cord! Saul knew his was around San Francisco very well and drove us wherever we wanted to go. We would call him 15 minutes before wanting to go to another bar or place and was on time each time. The only thing I would recommend room for improvement was the A/C didn't seem to work that well as well as the phone's to call Saul from inside the Limo.
