Company came out and replaced 5ton package unit and redid some duct work per contract says to add to 20" duct drops and after contract was paid later to find out that they did not replaced old 14" duct with 20" duct and now my new unit is running all day. Ask them to come out and take a look at or have if i could speak to someone about why the full contract was fulfilled and they said no I would have to pay a service call haha after $9,803.64 was just paid? Also static pressure is out of manufacturing specs causing hi load on ECM motor. They actual install is a disaster just look at the pics. They installed my AC unit and my neighbors per my referral. They blew my neighbors fuse box during a water heater replacement and did not take credit but it happened while they were there. In addition they turned the water off for the whole neighborhood by mistake. The crew was yelling at each other throughout the instal. After the install of my unit I continued to smell dust only to find they had not sealed the unit properly. Then a rain storm came and the unit continues to leak during rain storms, again they did not accept responsibility. They blamed it on everything you could imagine. So I dropped it now the unit doesn't work at all. I have been calling since Sunday. It's wed today. This has been an issue since the install. Poor service, never answer their phone. I was very happy with the price to replace my 2 AC units on the house. Since then I haven't heard from them again. They don't respond back, and now only a year after they were installed one of the motors broke and even though it should be under warranty it doesn't matter because I can't reach them and they don't return messages. I wish I knew then what I know now ... and I should have listened to my gut instinct. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Since my unit install last year (14 mos. ago) I have had nothing but constant and continual issues with my thermostat not properly controlling the unit. After dealing with Bosch Tech. Support and a couple of contacts with Prestige I am told I need to get it replaced with a different thermostat that will work as expected. There is no answer at their number, voicemail only. I had managed to get a conversation going on FB Messenger but now nothing. They will not return my messages now as well. I believe in service after the sale, seems they got their $$$ and now have disappeared. After checking with the BBB I now understand how their solid "F" rating is well deserved ... do your homework folks !! read more

I was amazed at the excellent customer service I received from this company. From the call to their office to get help(when your A/C goes down in 105 degree weather everything is put into panic mode. We did work through our warranty company and I would personally hire them the next time(even without a warranty). What made it nice to work with them was that they were able to get me scheduled for a service call within a day versus other companies had been quoting me a week. They gave me the name of the service individual- Jeremy Hartz(I like having this to check their ID before I open the door). He was very professional. I told him what was going on and he checked our inside thermostats and then he went to the outside units. It was here that he found the problem(we had blown something) that goes out when you have an older unit. All along, he was explaining how things worked and answering all of my questions, he was more patient at listening to me than my husband(he loves it when I ask him how things work) He told me he had the part on hand in the truck. He came back and replaced the part, then he took the hose(air) and opened up the unit and cleaned the dust out of the unit and examined another part that he said wears out in about another year-that part was ok-I really appreciated him being proactive. Overall, with all of the questions I asked him and everything he taught me, he spent at least an hour and a half with me(I personally thought that was amazing because I don't like service people that come in and out really quickly and you wonder if they covered everything). Paid almost $13,000 for a Bosch air-conditioning unit. It leaks water all the way around it. Only received 5 seconds of instruction about the thermostat. Paid for other parts ordered that have yet to be received or installed after 2 months. Once Jeremy got our money he wouldn't return our calls. She gave me a date and time for the next day and she also gives a courtesy call notification when they are 30 minutes away. The owner, Jeremy, came on time and was a blessing to work with. I highly recommend Prestige Mechanical. My experience started off with their dispatcher, Amanda who has excellent telephone skills. She was able to fit me in earlier than I had expected. Technician Jesus completed a tune-up on my AC system and did an excellent job. I felt sorry for him climbing up into my attic to check out the air handler. Then he inspected and cleaned the outdoor unit in 100+ degree temperatures and monsoon humidity. Even though he had to be miserable he took his time, photographing everything as he went. Totally big disappointment. I wanted to hire a company after moving into my new home to service my trane air conditioner. The service person Arron who was a nice person had us sign up for a gold service plan. They also over sold me on a part to eliminate a power surge which was over $150.00. I was to get a warranty which I never received. They were supposed to program the thermostat to my smart phone. Jeremy the owner came to my home training a new technician. Of course they said I needed a capacitor. I needed to call several times enquirering where is the part. Weeks later a capacitor was replaced. Then they sold me a second power surge. My ac unit was actually covered under a factory warranty. The warranty needed to be transferred within a 90 day window. A reputable ac contractor should have realized a new trane system would have a factory warranty. That warranty is now lost because trane has a 90 day transfer policy. This company has failed to live up to their name. I have been calling for the past theee days asking for a refund for the unused portion of my warranty. The owner Jeremy has never returned my calls. BUYER BEWARE Jeremy after reading your response you are wrong just about everything you stated. I paid for the initial service plus two additional services. Had you or Arron explained the transferability option on s$18,000 dollar system I would be crazy not to register my system. I never received any paperwork regarding the very expensive surge protector. The capacitor is the wrong size for my unit. To be clear I paid for three services. I received two. No you say my warranty is up. Your gold plan was a ripoff. I saved money on the very expensive surge proctor. Arron was a good technician. I am owed for the service I paid for which I no longer want anyone from your company touching my unit. Besides it is also covered by orangatan. I wasted over $500. To reach you by phone is nearly impossible. Your company with the change in your office staff and your installer Aaron your company leaves me as a customer a sour taste. Every other company is either late, messes things up and doesn't fix it without being paid for an extra trip, lie to my owners and so many other things. Matt, with Prestige was amazingly kind and took the time to explain to me what type of A/C unit I have and how it works, why it was not working, how to make sure it does not happen again and showed me little amazing tricks that I never knew existed. I am typically a Do-It-Yourselfer, but I was uncomfortable taking on a project with my air conditioner because of the complexity of the system. This release of control over the changes being made to my home were difficult for me to accept. I am skeptical about businesses and assume they are including unnecessary add-ons and frivolous mark-ups. When I got an estimate from Aaron, he was thorough and found all of the possible difficulties they would encounter in my unique situation. He climbed through the attic and spent literally hours just to give me an accurate estimate. Other companies spent between 15 and 30 minutes. He took the time to explain what exactly would be done and was patient with my questions. Overall, these are the highlights of my experience with Prestige: 1. They were professional, prompt and patient with a DIYer who wanted to know everything that they were doing. 2. Despite my single-pane windows and insufficient insolation, when I set my thermostat at 78 degrees my house is 78 degrees. It was 107 degrees outside yesterday. 3. Because we had to replace two units and had a difficult space for placing them, we had budgeted (mostly based on other estimates) for about 30% more than we paid. 4. The estimate was accurate.
