Buttermilk Fried Chicken (4/5): Decent fried chicken. I didn't expect it to be a boneless breast. Dark meat would've given it more flavor. The potatoes were flavorful and creamy. The collard greens were too acidic for me. Cornmeal Fried N.C. Catfish (3/5): The catfish wasn't anything special but the grits were very good. Lots of flavor and good texture. The collard greens were too acidic for me. Fried Adluh Yellow Grit Cakes (3/5): Would've been a lot better if it was fried more and had a crispier exterior. The herb goat cheese was good, but there was a little too much of it. Loved the roasted garlic (great for spreading on the complimentary bread!) Buttermilk Fried Shrimp (2/5): Only came with 4 shrimp. The shrimp itself wasn't very meaty and it also wasn't fried long enough. The drinks were blended very well and used fresh lime juice, which was nice. The appetizers -- the kimchi fries and the boneless wings were pretty standard. The fries were crunchy, but we felt like there was more cheese than there was kimchi and sauce, so we've had better kimchi fries elsewhere. The cheese was very gooey though. The boneless wings weren't as crunchy as they could have been, especially coming out in a stone dish, but the garlic soy sauce was still pretty good. Our mains were really good -- the japchae, which I ordered with fried tofu, had the right texture and flavor, and was delicious yet spicy. The tofu was a little bland though. My partner enjoyed the squid and pork belly dish and said that the sauce was similar to the japchae sauce. The portions were pretty normal and not too big, so we had a few leftovers but not too many. The prices were also pretty reasonable as well. Overall we were really happy with our food here and would come back if we ever visited again.

I guess this place is a local hidden gem. There were so many options even the kids loved their food. If you're in the market for Korean fusion and great service then this is the spot. Friendly staff, cute vibes and delicious food- literally everything was a hit for our party of 5.

Everything is a la cart , but the portions are generous. Today I tried Krako , which isn't on the menu, but you might can ask for it. They said it's when the plantains are over ripe, they are smashed with spices and then fried . It was sooo good, though just a bit oily. Next, I decided to try their stewed goat and their signature spinach rice. The goat was unbelievably tender and the broth was so flavorful. I ended up mixing my rice Into the sauce after I'd eaten all the meat. I will definitely eat here again, I want to try their whole fried red snapper. Prices are affordable. My meal was about $35 with tip, and I have a to go container.

I had the Egusi soup w/fish & Cassava fufu (next time I wanna get it w/the smoked turkey) & my husband had the peanut soup w/smoked turkey & plantain fufu We also got Jollof rice to-go & that was bussin', not to forget the delicious hibiscus/pineapple juice they offer! I'm excited about our future dine-in's & I'm looking forward to trying the okra soup w/the yam fufu next The plantain fufu (my fav) has a slight sweetness that really compliments the peanut butter soup... & please give the staff grace... it's a small, busy business, so consider elsewhere if you're in a rush. The atmosphere was homely w/light Afro music in the background. If you have kids needing a highchair, I saw at least 1 lol so maybe bring your own chair just in case. Limited parking, so carpool if doing a group thing.
