I got a helix and a lobe piercing and both were done wrong multiple times. My helix was pierced completely sideways to the point where you couldn't even see it from the front, and when I said I didn't like the angle, the owner, Patty, came in and belittled me, kept insisting I wanted a "Claire's piercing," and made me feel stupid for speaking up. They had to redo it THREE times, which if you know anything about cartilage piercings is insanely painful and not something you should have to go through. By the third time I genuinely felt like I was going to pass out, but at least I got a lecture with it! My lobe also had to be redone twice because the angle was visibly off compared to my other piercings, but don't worry, I was confidently informed that it looked completely fine when it clearly wasn't. Super reassuring to know basic symmetry is apparently just a matter of opinion here! Overall, the combination of attitude, gaslighting, and having to repeatedly get stabbed with a needle was honestly unmatched. If you're looking for professionalism, accountability, or correctly placed piercings on the first few tries, maybe keep looking.
