Ive came on Saturdays and was rushed and services were not given like the leg rub by the man doing my feet. Then I was dismissed like I was wrong when I mentioned it. I just thought I was losing my mind so I came back. My last 2 visits will be my last 2 visits. Tuesday I was cut and was bleeding. What makes it so bad is she seen it...and said nothing like it never happened...or maybe because it happens too much? I complained when I was rung up..she told me it was my fault and that my toes were small. Like WTF?? You cut my cuticle...MY SKIN. I assume the man by the desk was the manager or owner..he just said. Oh..Im so sorry. That's it. The visit 30 days prior.. I also got cut or nicked on my other foots toe. This one was painfull and red for a few days. It was my first cut from all my visits so I just took as " it happens". But after the lack of care and accountability from this last visit and the older lady who did my toes acting like she didn't want to be there in the first place makes me not want to return. Its unfortunate. To have at least 3 different people mess up your pedicure and 2 of them to cut the person..at that point there needs to be a refresher course taken. Customer service needs to be better and when you cut someone then you should find a way to compensate and resolve the issues for your customers. Also..the visit before this they automatically gave me gel on my toes which I never get and snuck in an charged me an extra $15.

The minute I opened the door I received a friendly greeting and was seated for a pedicure. I had a couple of special requests and the technician listened carefully and did exactly as I requested. The technician was very attentive and communicated throughout the procedure to ensure that I had no pain or discomfort. This was by far the most pleasant pedicure experience that I have had, and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I did withhold the 5th star because the floor needed to be swept (a lot of nails and other debris), but the technicians sat in the massage chairs looking at their phones when they had no customers rather than attend to the floor.

However, I'm currently a caregiver for my mom and wanted to treat myself. I walked in back in September and Rose was so kind and patient with me. I wanted to get something nice done before I flew to Ireland. The staff worked with me to create these custom design nails of a claddaugh and Celtic design. The nails lasted me a month! I got so many compliments. So I went back yesterday to get some Halloween nails. Jennifer helped with the nail art and was meticulous in trying to get the design on the witch hat. Both times I went there are plenty of regulars, which I always think is a good sign. I will definitely go back. There is plenty of free parking in front of the building. Oh don't forget to bring cash to tip your nail tech!

1. Unfortunately this was the worst dip powder service I have ever had. My nails were overly damaged during the service and are paper thin now. 2. To remove previous dip/polish they have your entire hands soak in a bowl of chemicals. The smell is so strong I instantly got lightheaded and had to ask for a mask. 3. Due to the harsh full hand chemical soak my knuckles began to bleed. Normally salons will wrap just the fingernail in polish remover. 4. They only let you tip in cash, I asked to tip by card but was refused. Tips aren't taxed so why make it harder on clients to tip?

I typically do a gel pedicure and dip nails. I've never had any issues and they last a very long time. Good news- they recently moved to a new location! The girl that did my nails was okay at filing my short nails into shape after a brief soak in liquid. She quickly removed cuticle and put on a first base layer of the color I had chosen. She spent time staring at her phone between dry times. A second coat of polish was added then topcoat. A thumb nail got knicked and instead of redoing it she tried to smooth it out either more top coat. The nail always looked like it had a bubble on it. She then sent me on my way without so much as a second look. My friend had it worse. Her technician rolled out of the back room like she was pained to have to work. She cut my friends skin while removing the cuticle then wiped away the blood. No apology. My friend had to ask for topcoat which was applied sloppily. We payed and left. It wasn't cheap. While there several pre teen girls came in to get their nails done. Around 8 of them with one Mom. No other adults came in while we were there. I would never recommend this salon.There is a nail salon on every corner. I can't speak for others but First Lady in Middletown is a HARD pass.
