She currently has a spot inside of Sassys salon, in the valley on mission st. She is super friendly and I am totally impressed by her work. I am a nervous cuticle picker, so having nails on help me not pick. I am so stoked I have found her. Her work is outstanding. Check her out on the book and the gram! During the fill, the man doing my nails didn't seem very confident about his process and the work showed, I tried to trust the process because I hate telling people how to do their job because it's not my place and I didn't want to seem rude, but they're lumpy, not secure to my nail, and just not good. I'm super disappointed, it's never fun to spend money on a service that isn't up to par with what I've experienced in the past and through recommendations. I came to this place two times before and they have done my nails beautifully, but nails are a lot of money so when you pay that some of cash the results should be consistent.

Little care cutting/filing and was uneven and my first gel polish lasted a week before it literally fell off, one by one. Encouraged by friends who were familiar with the place, and who had had gel polish before, I went back to them and explained what had happened. The same person came over to start the water. I explained gently what happened. She said that I had been in hot water and that's why the polish came off. I said, "well, I showered and bathed daily, but I don't like the water very hot actually." She responded by saying that I had been in hot water and that's why it was ruined. I asked if that was not ok? Apparently it is not. She said it twice more. In any case, I had not been. It's 100 degrees outside. A man overheard, and said if that happens again, come back and we will fix it for free. I said, it only lasted a week, and for the price, I didn't think that that was reasonable and I was hoping they would fix it this time. The woman got very upset and then scolded me for moving my foot and messing up the plastic liner. I was uncomfortable and had to shift my weight. She told me I couldn't have the polish I chose because it was too clear. I picked a very similar color. She said that I should get regular polish. I was upset because I thought they would redo the gel since the first one failed. I asked why but she stated that I could do regular. Ok. She got quite upset and did the fastest pedicure I have ever had. I felt uncomfortable and she said, what was the matter? Was I tired!? It was not asked kindly. I got another poorly done pedicure and sure enough, after a few days, my polish is already cracked. My polish typically lasts a month. I have worn socks and shoes and not done anything out of the ordinary. They ended up charging me full price and saying come back if it happens again and we will replace for free. I would highly recommend coming here if you enjoy crappy attitudes and service, being scolded and a business that doesn't care about the quality of its work. It was especially uncomfortable that they fell all over pretty much every one else that came in. The worst. OMG I'm never going here again. Starting to feel sad about not finding a good place close to home.

I gel polish is an extra $10 which is better than most other places that charge $15 extra. The polish never chips from here when I do gel and it lasts until I get my next pedi. Gordon is always so friendly and finds the perfect shade of red when I want to do a red (Ferrari red is my favorite!). I always go for the #2 pedi which includes callus removal and an orange sugar scrub, after gel it comes to $55! I also like that i saw Gordon take his tools after another pedicure he was doing for someone else and put them in the sanitizer machine. I've never had any issues with fungus here and I've been coming here for a little over a year now.
