1) No parking. I struggled to find parking for this business that is at the bottom of an apartment building. Everywhere is posted that your car would be towed if you park in the parking lot. I went inside and asked the receptionist who then brought me outside to show me the four spots available for customers to park in. There was one spot left as we watched an SUV pull into it, and hit the car next to it with a loud crunch as we watched. Her comment to me was, "well I guess it's a good thing you didn't park there ". 2) the person that colored my hair, really struggled with not getting it to turn fire engine red and pumpkin orange. He finally got it to about the right color, after a few tries, and several hours. He was nice enough & did his best, and I realize he's learning, but at these prices I expected a little more expertise rather than experimentation. Still, I would have come back if it wasn't for the 3rd event. 3) what finally really sealed the deal with me on not coming back here and leaving this review is the fact that when I paid, I was charged a service charge for the entire bill because I was using my debit card. Being that I was paying over $500 because I also bought products, it turned out to be quite a hefty service charge. I've never had any credible business charge me a service charge for using my debit card before in my life. Not even the coffee shop charges me a service charge for using my debit card. After complaining about the bizarre service charge and told I could walk across Florida Avenue to find an ATM...., as I walked out receptionist then started giggling about I guess my ridiculousness to the stylist standing next to her. Because, you know... People who can actually afford to pay these prices are really ridiculous and deserve to be laughed at before the door closes behind them. First want to start off by saying I was so grateful for this salon for squeezing me in last minute. I am visiting Tampa for work and decided (on a whim) to get my hair colored. I wanted something a little different from the super-platinum blonde I was so used to. So, I used yelp to find something in the area that had amazing reviews. Yelp led me to Tribeca Color Salon. I called to see if they had any last minute openings, and they said they had one at their newest location , and with Lou. The appointment was 90 minutes from when I called and I was elated there was a spot open so quickly. I showed up early, grateful to find free (and plentiful) parking. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the nicest lady who got me checked in and offered me a drink from their menu (how cool / clever). I opted for a water and waited for my appointment. Lou showed up and got started right on time (grateful) and she listened to me ramble about what I wanted / thought I wanted / didn't want / thought I didn't want. Basically I was a mess and she was tasked to sort thru it. After listening for a bit she walked me thru what she was going to do and then got to work. Sparing the details - she took my over processed bleachy hair and made it look perfect. I wasn't sure what I really wanted - but Lou did and she nailed it. really wanted to get a haircut before my flight to nyc and after extensive research on finding the hair salon that would fit my needs i came across tribeca salon. after looking over their website and reading reviews on the salon, i decided to get a simple hair cut at the seminole heights location because they had availability before my flight and it was only 10 minutes from my house. my hair is pretty challenging to manage in the sense that it is very, very thick. and i mean so thick that when it gets all wet it weights like it could be 2 extra pounds. so i was going for A LOT of hair thinning, about 4 inches shorter, and of course curtain bangs because i had to try the tiktok trend of those. when i walked in, i was immediately checked in by the receptionist and my hair stylist was all ready for me. he listened to my needs and what i was going for. i showed him a reference video and he was like say no more. i felt well taken care of and he took a lot of my hair off. the end result was exactly what i was going for! i couldn't have been more happy. overall, i would highly recommend this salon if youre lookin for a quick cut for a decent price as well as up-to-date style hairstyle then look no further! read more

So I made an appointment for a last minute wedding invite to get my hair trimmed and blowed out. My battery died so I paid an extra fee to get Uber quicker. Upon arriving for my 330 appointment, my Uber driver did not speak any English and I was trying to explain to him where to go because he was in the back of the salon as I called the salon at 3:43 and let them know I arrive, but couldn't see where the front was. I walked in at 3:45 as the clock turned 346 she said that my silence had left because of the past due 15 minutes. First of all, I walked in at 3:45 as it turned 346 also I did wash my hair so I cut down the time so he should've been able to take me. Bucci cuts my hair and colors it. She can usually color my incredibly long, thick hair for about $300, which is no small feat. Haircuts with her usually hover around $50, which I consider a steal versus my former life in Chicago. She always does an amazing job with the cuts and color. She's a great listener, and really understands my hair texture. The salon itself (I visit the Seminole Heights location) is cute and clean. They always offer me water, and other drinks. The staff is fun, full of tattoos and stories. Unfortunately, I'm withholding a star because every time I go here (without fail) the appointment takes at least 2+ hours. Bucci did an amazing job cutting my hair which was a total disaster before she saved it. I have fine hair that had been previously over layered by someone else ,but she made it appear thicker and gave it a nice shape. My hair is blonde and she also took care of my hairs integrity and applied a deep conditioning treatment. I've seen her a few times now for haircuts and color and she always does a great job. After five long hours and a high bill, I came home crying because my hair was green and looked terrible. The owner persuaded me to come back in so he could fix it, but he did not fix it or refund me. I first went here for a color correction after another salon totally messed up my hair. Brandon, the owner, was there to assist and was very straightforward with his advice on next steps. Transition to natural hair color and cuts: I wanted a shorter haircut 10+ years ago, searched for a stylist near my home in Tampa Heights, and found Corinne at Tribeca. Since my first haircut with her, I have never gone to anyone else. Even after moving across the bridge into Pinellas County, I drive back to Tampa for Corinne about every 8 weeks. Not only do I love the cut (which I've stuck with since then!), but I have friends and strangers compliment me on my cut all the time. Within the last year, I decided I no longer wanted to dye my hair and was ready to let my greys grow out. Corinne worked with me on a plan to transition while maintaining a professional look for work, and I am LOVING it. Even as I'm still transitioning and my color is not fully grown out, I'm receiving compliments from strangers on a plane, women at work, and my husband about how much they love my hair color! these people will lie until their socks fall off. I have been going to Nicole for about two years, yes I appreciated her service and had high respect for her until the day she literally fried my hair from the root down. Please see pictures and be your own judge. I went to see her personally right after my hair color/highlights appointment because my hair strands stood to the side and my hair seemed to be breaking and knotting from the root down, dry like wheat with no life left. Nicole calmed me down and said no worries just use your moisturizing masks and it will be ok. Mind you by now my hair was breaking but Nicole only said you know we lose 100 hairs a day so no worries. A week later I went to see my other hair stylist for a haircut and she told me that my hair is indeed breaking and there is no way to saving it as my hair was literally fried. When she calmed through my wet hair she showed me a huge clump of my hair coming out and said see you can take that to your hairdresser. I was so down and mad because I just went to see Nicole after my me getting my highlights done and she assured me that there is no breakage yet here is my hairdresser telling me how she put the highlights through from the root till down my hair and fried my hair. I called the salon and was told Stephanie would call me the next day. Next day comes and Stephanie calls, she did not even listen to what I was saying about my hair breakage, she only kept on going over the message I wrote Nicole about her fixing my color and that I'm happy with it. I told Stephanie that I also said in the message that I'm truly worried about my hair breaking and something is not right yet for about 8 minutes Stephanie continuously kept on talking about me talking about being happy with the service and saying so. Again and again I told Stephanie that I mentioned the breakage in the message and that Nicole assured me that its only dry and in need of moisture and that after I went to see my hairstylist a week later for a haircut she confirmed that my hair is indeed breaking. So anyways the phone call ended with me saying that I will drive back to the salon and that Stephanie will take a look at my hair and if she sees breakage I receive a refund. Mind the salon is a 40 min drive from me and that by now I spent additional 200 dollars for k18 on top of the 350 I paid in the salon for service, cut and hair treatments trying to fix my hair as much as possible. So for the 3 time I go to the salon, Stephanie looks at it and saying that its fixable with a good wash lol. My hair strands are literally standing to the side from the root till down and hair is breaking yet this woman is still denying the fact that my hair is breaking not to mention that she is still running her mouth about me being so happy with the service in my message acting again like I never addressed the issue of my hair breaking. Like are you deaf? I don't care about the color and I was not assured of the breakage by a professional till after I saw Nicole and wrote the message. I'm posting a picture of my hair so that you can see for yourself what I'm talking about together with the messages exchange between me and Nicole the hairdresser that fried my hair. Please check the other google reviews as well because its normal Tribeca policy to deny and standing ignorant behind their hairdressers you can put the bacon under their nose they will still standing there and denying smelling anything. These people are pathetic, not trust worthy not to mention that a hair stylist that wants over a 100 bucks an h, supposedly full of experience should never fry your hair and this woman left bleach on my hair for full 2 hours! scammers is not the word, these people only care about money not their customers. I'm collecting evidence against this hair salon to file for damages in court. I showed up 14 minutes late to my appointment due to getting stuck in traffic. I spoke to the receptionist Kate over the phone on the way informing her that I was running late. She said I am fine as long as I'm no more than 15 minutes late. When I arrived Kate was in the back not at the front desk and didn't see me come in. A few minutes later when she came up front she said she was sorry that she had been in the back folding laundry and that she apologizes but it was now 16 minutes after my appointment time and that if I would have been there one minute earlier that I would have been fine Although I sat there waiting on her to come check me in for 2 minutes. Also part of the late policy says you will be charged 50$ or 20% whichever is greater if you miss or show up late to an appointment. I told her I wanted to speak to a manger and she said there wasn't any available and the only thing she could do for me is to re schedule me and charge me for showing up late. The next day I spoke to the manager Brandon and he informed me that I am no longer allowed to come to Tribeca Seminole heights because Kate lied and said that I called her a "slur". She told Brandon I called her a "stupid girl". I asked Brandon to pull up the camera so he can see the truth but he said there's no audio and that too protect his employees he has to take their side and there is nothing he can do about it. I feel bad for the stylist who will be losing money from my haircuts as I've been going to Tribeca for almost 4 years. Brandon said he could set me up with another stylist at a different location but I will not be taking that offer and no longer supporting Tribeca color salons. I feel embarrassed and upset about this situation and how I was treated. Be weary of showing up late to your appointments. Over the years I have been passed around through stylists as no one seems to stay around. During this time my haircut price has doubled and the quality has not gotten any better. I still continued to keep coming but this behavior is unacceptable and the manager/owner Brandon should be ashamed for allowing his employees to treat patrons that way. read more

My friend recommended me to come here and see Bucci for a haircut and I'm not a person who gets haircuts frequently so i was kinda nervous and especially at a new place but everyone was so friendly and greeted me right away! You also get a complimentary drink with your haircut which is also pretty cool! Bucci was amazing with everything and was cool as hell so everything felt very calming and just a good time overall!! My daughter has been here twice now and we will never leave Sara! She is extraordinary with color and she cuts my daughter's hair just the way she asked. We had a bad experience with highlights at another salon and went to tribeca as a suggestion by about 10 people on my Nextdoor app. We are so lucky to have been placed with Sara.
