By far my favourite gelato with a ton of Asian inspired flavours. I first discovered them during a pop up at an event and I'm so glad they have an actual store front now. Located in the back of an industrial area, it's a bit difficult to find but I followed a bunch of people walking in the same direction lol. It's a somewhat tiny shop and it's BUSYYYY. I had gone in May/June around 7:30 ish and waited 1 hr and 15 mins. There was only one person working so kudos to him for being so patient and worked with a smile the whole time. He also apologized for the long line. They have some really unique flavours like cilantro and lobster bisque. Each person was allowed to sample 3 flavours. My all time favorite is the ginger milk & durian. They also have (weekly?) rotating soft serve...I'll have to try it one day and you don't need to line up for the soft serve. Truly a hidden gem in Scarborough worth checking out if you love Asian flavours. Just be patient when there's a long line!

I loved the unique asian icecream and soft serve options. Was very happy that the tofu pudding was vegan. I really miss eating creamy ice creams as I'm lactose intolerant and sometimes sorbet just doesn't cut it. Was surprised at the cilantro icecream option... I had a sniff and immediately crashed out. Service was standard, they had 3 servers behind the icecream bar because of how busy it was. I wanted my icecream in a cone but they didn't present me options - they just put it in a cup instead. The shop literally operates from a warehouse so it smells like warehouse coming in, but they have nice seats and cafe tables. They also had a fridge to bring home ice creams too.

Was looking for a late night ice cream spot and came across this place. I had my dog with me so I brought her inside in my arms. The owners were so excited to see her and showed me pictures of all their dogs. They allow up to three samples per person, I tried a few different flavours. I got the hojicha ice cream which was a $1 more but very strong. Also got the chrysanthemum as my second scope. They were both really good, the ice cream is more of the ice-y side instead of creamy. I love how they have a collaboration with Hatch. Lots of local products for sale too. This place definitely has awesome ice cream flavours and I will definitely be back to try more. There's some seating inside but limited. This place is a little hard to find, it's located inside an industrial-ish looking plaza, but it's worth it!

Pretty Sweet Gelato is fantastic! This shop has a fun and vibrant atmosphere. It is perfect for enjoying a treat on a hot summer day. The owner was incredibly kind. The gelato flavours speaks to the uniqueness of the owners' background; one from Toronto, the other from Hong Kong. I tried the osmanthus and lychee gelato along with the mango coconut. Both flavours were equally yum! The unique Asian-inspired options really stand out. The vegan gelato is incredibly smooth and creamy. It is perfect indulgence on a hot day. The owner mentioned it is not too busy during the weekday. There was a steady flow of customers. Pretty Sweet Gelato is pretty sweeeeeeet! I cone to term that I like Pretty Sweet Gelato.

Such a fun spot for a quick dessert and a hidden gem (considering they're in an unassuming part of the midland/finch plaza area). I came on a Saturday at around 7 and there were people inside but they seem to manage their line pretty efficiently. There are so many unique and interesting flavours to choose from, it's cool to see everything they offer. And I love that they allow 3 samples per person which totally adds to the experience... You can try flavours you're intrigued by without having to commit to buying a full scoop of it. I tried the jasmine milk tea, matcha, and Dubai chocolate. I was super impressed with how accurate and pronounced the flavour execution was. The matcha was very rich, and the Dubai chocolate had a good ratio of kunafa pieces in it. I ended up getting the jasmine milk tea and lychee Osmanthus which was a game time decision. The jasmine milk tea was done so well, and the lychee was more of a sorbet to me (still good though!) My bf got the Dubai chocolate and New York cheesecake. The prices are pretty reasonable for the portion. $6 for a single scoop and 50 cents more to split into 2 flavours. I'll definitely come back to try more flavours as it seems that they switch it up pretty often. It's a great alternative option in an area dominated by bubble tea shops :)

Hidden gelato gem in Scarborough :) Found out about Pretty Sweet Gelato from pop-up markets! Really enjoyed their Ginger Milk flavour, so spicy, I love it. Tbh, all the flavours are really yummy. I also sampled Dubai Chocolate (super decadent!), Lobster Bisque (so unique!), and Cilantro (definitely very interesting lol). If you are getting soft serve ice cream, you can actually skip the long line, which was nice! We came here tonight on Saturday at the factory location, and it was completely rammed inside. The ladies working there apologized for the long wait and continue to serve everyone with a smile! Parking was a tad difficult; we saw a lot of people just walk here from adjacent plazas. There were a lot of large pick-up trucks parked in this industrial area, so drive/park safely.

I first tried their gelato at a Happy Cute Mart and was impressed so when I heard about them opening their factory doors to the public I had to go try it. They allowed multiple samples per person and everything tasted good. I ended up getting pistachio and jasmine which I liked the best of what I tried. I would have given 4 stars if the crowd was better managed. Customers were rude and loud and while they advertised that pregnant women and the elderly could skip the line, they did not enforce it. I was very obviously pregnant and struggling to keep my spot in line with rude customers pushing and not waiting their turn to ask for samples or order, so it was not a pleasant experience. The gelato was great though.

We came here because we were looking for gelato places nearby and this one showed up with some cool Asian flavors. Located in a primarily industrial area, it's a bit hidden away and parking can be tight. The staff working were super patient and happy to let us try flavors. There were so many to try! We ended up trying a lot of flavors and bought 4. Peanut Kaya toast - has a nice light peanut butter flavor and has chunks of toast mixed in. I wished there was a bit more condensed milk sweetness but it was nice. 4/5. Tofu pudding - if you're a fan of the Asian tofu pudding dessert - this is perfect for you. It's got a perfect light hint of tofu and light sweetness. 5/5 if you love tofu dessert. It was pretty good to me 4.5/5. Ginger milk- be warned - this has a good ginger kick. If you're not into spicy, avoid! For those who like ginger milk, this is the real deal. The ginger will linger in your mouth and throat. 5/5. Green apple - tastes like green apple candy. Hits the spot for that classic green apple flavor -5/5. Lychee osmanthyus - has a really nice lychee flavor and a hint of tea to balance the sweetness - 5/5. Horlick - this one is on the delicate side, not super strong but does remind me of Horlick. 4.5/5 only because I wish it was a bit stronger. Salted egg - this one is definitely an acquired taste. It's very good as a salted egg ice cream - whether you like this or not depends if you liked salted egg. It's like someone took the salted egg out of a moon cake and transformed it into ice cream. 5/5 if you like salted egg. Pear - surprisingly not flavorful at all. Honestly, couldn't taste any pear - not sure if I just got an ice chunk out of the sorbet when tasting. Not sure I can rate this fairly. Hojicha - another great tea flavor. If you like hojicha, this is for you. 5/5. Price - 5$ for a small container and 15$ for a big pint.

A hidden gem in Scarborough tucked away in an industrial area. They have lots of unique flavours to choose from, and I love that they let you sample before deciding. The portion sizes are generous, and the gelato was delicious. I chose the mango coconut and mango strawberry flavours, and both were refreshing, full of flavour and not overly sweet. They also offer takeout options, which is a nice bonus. Looking forward to coming back and trying more flavours!

Asian owned small business that's fairly new. Really nice gelato, the texture was very smooth. Asian and classic flavours with some interesting ones like cilantro. It's a cute date spot and a hot spot for summer! Service was super nice and they let us try out some flavours before deciding. It's in the back of the plaza away from other food spots. The rose Thai milk tea was really unique and not what I expected at all. I definitely recommend to try it.

Came back after their renovation was finally done. They opened up the space so there's much more room for guests to sit and enjoy a scoop of their ice cream. The scoop selection has also expanded significantly - maybe double or triple the size thanks to the new freezer (not sure what you call those things!). The freezers for take home scoops and pints remain the same. I didn't see any of the pastries this time around and not sure if they'll bring it back. The owner remembered me. :) friendly as always, she asked me what flavours I'd want to see upon my next visit! I couldn't think of any since they've make flavours for EVERYTHING. Apparently cilantro flavour was her husband's idea LOL. But i love tea-based, fruit, and unique flavours so i'm excited for all of those. Today's visit i got these take home flavours: - salted egg yolk - ube coconut *my dad raved about it not being too sweet - hatch coffee *starlight blend* *my mom said this tasted great - tofu - mango *they didnt have this in the fridge but the owner offered to scoop out of their Backstock which was amazing of them!!! I did an upside down scoop (cone on cup) of double chocolate over genmaicha. The double chocolate tastes like a lighter version of a chocolate truffle - the owner influenced me into trying this flavour and won me over since it wasn't too rich or too sweet, which I deeply enjoyed. The genmaicha had a strong tea flavour. You could really get the nuttiness nd roasted rice flavours out of it. Both were super creamy and smooth. Will probably be back here monthly to restock.

We searched and found Rice Box and obtained their services to help us with their on-site cooking catering service. Based on our budget and our goals for the event, they proposed a customized menu that was suitable for what we were looking for, it Included Cucumber lemonade, watermelon salad, pulled pork sandwich, and lemon tart. After comparing to other proposals from other catering services, We came to the conclusion that Rice Box had the best cost/benefit ratio, and decided to try them out. The result at the bbq was much better then what we had expected, and was very well received by our attendees. The food quality was excellent and freshly cooked on site, and it had visibly improved the overall perceived level of quality of our event with an elevated touch of upscale dining fare. The end result was that we were glad that we had outsourced this part to Ricebox, they've handled our lunch group of 90 people with flying colors and we would definitely use them again in the future. Jordan was easy to work with, and was flexible in accomodating to our needs and what we were trying to achieve for our event. They've also indicated that they can also do wedding and bridal shower party catering as well, would def consider them if we ever have that need in the future.

However, the set-up (name cards/place settings/centerpieces) was at a glacial pace such that there was no time for wedding helpers to verify all hundreds of name cards were placed at the correct seats by M&O staff. A second consequence was that guests were unable to mingle in the reception hall any earlier despite the ceremony having ended early, and some guests were forced to wait outside despite the cold. Jordan attempted to offer alternatives, but the set up staff did not speed up the set up process, and guests continued to wait outside the reception hall in a standing room only lobby area (and expressed frustration about that). Name cards were swapped/the opposite of what the bride outlined in the seating chart, so that at long rectangular tables a husband/wife were sitting at opposite ends. The staff potentially were not from M&O (potentially outsourced from a different company) but some did not clarify seating, and as a result, mixed up all the food orders. Some individual waitstaff were quite good about verifying name card placements but others did not verify them at all. Hopefully no one had a severe allergic reaction that night, as the seating chart from the bride and the reality of where names were placed were completely different for some tables. M&O also took boxes of glasses filled with water one by one to set up (instead of wheeling out several carts which would have expedited the process) and set everything up extremely slowly. Staff also served only 2 plates at a time, with about 6-8 people being served at a time. At a large wedding, this was disastrous because it took more than 40 minutes for them to serve the main course to everyone. This threw off the whole schedule of speeches so in the end we were more than an hour behind schedule. They also expressed a preference for people to be seated while the courses were being served due to the tight space (the tables were quite close together because the venue should not have allowed so many guests in that particular hall/room), which is a tad unreasonable at a wedding with several hundred people. In the end, guests couldn't enjoy the photo booth nor mingle as freely, and the schedule was extremely behind because speeches couldn't go on while people were in the middle of being served. Not sure if M&O outsourced their waitstaff to a 3rd party company that night, but would not recommend to anyone unfortunately despite the food tasting good.
