This place was really pretty and had a Photo Booth in the front! Their desserts are well made and are delicious! The definitely think you get you moneys worth with the amount they give you in ingredients and presentation! A little busy at certain times, but over all it was good experience!
Located at the plaza in front of Centrepoint Mall (Canadian Tire side) at the corner of the plaza. Parking is there, plenty but can also be packed on a weekend. Quite a lot of seats available inside. You would have to go to the counter to order and they'll give you an alarm when it's ready to be picked up. They offer shaved ice Korean style, croffles, teas, frappe, some fruity drinks - a cute small café. We tried taro frappe, cappuccino, and matcha croffle. The taro was really delicious not too sweet. The cappuccino was good too, it comes in big cups. The croffle was $15 with a small scoop of ice cream. I feel like it could be bigger and not the sorbet type. The croffle is definitely not healthy in terms of the amount of butter you can taste, but wow it was DELICIOUS! The best croffle I've tasted so far! I would come here again.
I love the bingsu here, it's not overall sweet but very milky! The croffles are amazing! My favorite is the strawberry and mango bingsu. The staff is kind as well and quick. They gave you a buzzer to let you know when your desserts are ready which is helpful. There is self served water if you need a cleanser. Only thing is they have very limited seating as the store is kind of small.
I used to not understand the appeal of shaved ice, and I was sorely judged by friends for it. What I have learned is that bingsu is just a completely different experience - and no better place to try it out than The Cups! We opted for a classic Asian dessert flavour pair: matcha & red bean. Topped with injeolmi (soybean powder-covered glutinous rice cubes), sliced almonds, and matcha ice cream, this was a perfect balance of sweet, creamy, & nutty flavours! Unlike other shaved ice, bingsu has a lighter, fluffier, milkier texture and taste--think of it more as shaved milk. I loved every bite, and it didn't feel like a heavy dessert at all. The churro croffle was also a hit with our group! The sugary syrup and fresh waffle smell permeated the airspace above our table haha. Warm, caramel goodness, crispy yet soft croffle, topped with ice cream for that cold-hot pair? A dream. Lastly, the blueberry tea was surprisingly more enjoyable than we expected. Again, it wasn't too sweet or acidic, and the tea had some carbonation to it I think. Kind of reminded me of a less fizzy ade.
Always a classic biingsu place I fall back onto if I see one around me. Snowy shaved ice and good amount of toppings. Not accessible as it's up a flight of steeper stairs. There is ample seating but not for many large groups/families. They do sell croffles, taoyaki etc but I've only had experience with the bingsu. Currently there are there sizes, with a cup being the smallest at ~13, small and larger. Quick service, you order at the counter, get a buzzer and just wait. A nice touch is they have a water station with small paper cups for you. Probably one of my favourite bingsu spots as it's actually flavourful vs tasting literally like ice or a slush
Came here with my family after dinner and got two medium size bing su - one mango and the other red bean. Both were DELICIOUS! It's the perfect balance of being a sweet & flavorful dessert without being too heavy. The workers were nice and professional. The bingsu came out pretty quickly after ordering. It's a smaller cafe but has a decent amount of seating.
I've heard about The Cups many times and luckily was able to get spot, despite the hot weather. We came around 6pm and it was moderately busy but we were still able to freely choose which table we would like. The menu had a good amount of options to choose from and the size of the portions on display. Strawberry Matcha (Large): We got the large size since it was a reasonable portion for two people on a hot summer day. Love how the bingsu still had good flavours even when you get to near the bottom of the bowl. The strawberry matcha is perfect for those who looking for something subtly sweet. The seating time limit is suggested to be an hour which was reasonable. There was enough seating for both small and large groups. The location has a lot of parking spots so it's not too difficult to find parking here.

It is a smaller cafe if you do plan on going - service is always quick here despite how busy it gets.
Visited this location for the first time w/ my gf recently. Have been to 2 of their other locations (including the one that used to exist at FMP). As far as bingsu goes, it is definitely up there w/ the best I've had. They've got 3 sizes. Cup (smallest), small (actually shareable), large (you will get full LOL). I remember the mango bingsu being really good so we got that and an oreo bingsu (both in cup size to share). Aside from the longer than usual wait time for our buzzer to vibrate, the service was courteous. IIRC this store had the same amount of seating as the one on Glen Cameron (just a bit north on Yonge). The FMP store (when it was alive) had the most seats as it was a huge store. It has been awhile but I don't recall seeing croffles or cupcakes on the menu in the past but they have them now. They looked pretty tempting on the menu but had to go w/ the tried and true bingsu.
After KBBQ in the plaza next door, we came for some dessert. This is a self-service restaurant where you order at the counter, get a buzzer, and then go back to pick up your order. I liked the light colour of the walls and the simple decor. The tiramisu croffle and brown sugar injeolmi bingsu were perfect for the three of us. The croffle was smooth and creamy. I found the bingsu was on the sweet side, though, and it got a bit messy when we scooped out the bingsu into separate bowls to share it.
This is my favourite spot in the GTA to have bingsu because they have a wide selection of bingsu, drinks & food! I love how their bingsu comes in a cup size, small & large. They have great seating options too, cute interior & free water lol. Please keep in mind that they have a sitting limit of 1 hr if I remember correctly from their sign! Service is always consistent and its a great spot as parking is very convenient.
This is a Korean cafe specializing in bingsu and croffles . Inside is clean and cozy, staff is friendly with a fast service. The thing is that you need to order and pay at the counter, and there is minimal 12% tips selection at their POS machine, which I feel for self service this is high. Ordered strawberry bingsu large size, presented beautifully with strawberry ice cream on top and cheesecake cubes, we loved it, will come back try more menu items.
I was in the plaza running errands and really craving a sweet treat. Thankfully Cups was around to fulfill my sweet cravings. It was quite busy during dinner time. I ended up getting a small bingsu injeolmi flavour, it's dusted with roasted soybean powder and topped with rice cakes and condense milk. It's really tasty and light. I normally eat the bingsu on site as it's much more appealing visually but taking it home is just as good! I even froze some of the leftovers to enjoy the next day and just as good (maybe not the same fluffy texture but still pretty good). Bonus the cup packaging they drew on is super cute. read more
Its one of those hot days in Toronto again and a perfect day to cool yourself with some cold desserts. My favourite is the blossom bingsu. As the name suggest it is beautifully presented like flower. With peach, grapefruit, fruit puree on a shaved milk ice topped with whipped cream is the best! The ice is so fine in texture and will literally melt in your mouth. The fruit balances the sweetness from the puree and the condense milk, specially the bittersweet grapefruit. Its good to eat it in as it'll melt right away if you have it as to go. Also, we tried their fruit cups (mango) with whipped cream a little sweet to me but its also good. Staff are friendly, not much people when we visited and you'll get your order quickly. Clean space inside. Plenty of parking in the plaza, but weekends get to be busy. read more
Venue 5/5 Plenty of parking in plaza, along with in the shop. There is lots of seating inside along windows of the walls. It can get busy on weekends so recommend during the day. Multiple staff on duty so orders and drinks will be quick. Service 4/5 Ordering was quick, menu on the wall with visuals as well as display screens. Food 4.5/5 Got the strawberry iced matcha latte and the mango. Both are super refreshing in this summer heat. The mango nectar tastes a bit sweeter than the strawberry jam. Small dessert place, with lots of people at around 8pm on a Thursday. With only 2 people working behind the counter, at this establishment, everything is self-service.... From ordering, to picking up your order, and returning your used bowls and cutlery. Because of the size and design of the dining area, customers placing order and people doing dining ware return runs into each other, it get pretty disorganized. I believe in the summer they have outdoor seating, so things may be a bit better. Interesting and well presented desserts, but the service doesn't justify the price. Like MCD service, with mid tier quality food, and fancy high end presentation. This place is worth a try, but personally I don't think I'm returning.... Just not my style. read more

Bingsu is the perfect way to end a night and Cups is one of my favourite places to get bingsu! I've been to multiple locations and always leave satisfied. This location has a handful of tables but is often pretty full with parties even waiting outside until a table opens up. I arrived with a group of 7 and luckily were able to grab a spot. We shared three large bingsu and there were small cups and disposable spoons available making it easy to share. What we got: - Mango Bingsu - Green Grape Bingsu - Tiramisu Bingsu Final Thoughts: Mango is always a classic flavor, but I was surprised to like the green grape as much as I did! It tasted like candy it was so good. I'm always happy with. my experience at Cups. read more
I come here often and usually get the green grape slush. This time I got the injeolmi (soy powder) bingsu, coffee bingsu, fruit croffle and a taro latte. My friends and I loved them! The bingsu is so smooth and light. And the croffle is so chewy! read more
I got the medium sized strawberry bingsu which was enough for two people. It's the best flavoured bingsu topped with cheese cake bites, strawberries, strawberry ice cream and condensed milk. Service was friendly and it was ready pretty quickly. read more

Came here for dessert after enjoying a nice dinner with family and friends. My friend really likes bingsoo and especially from cups. I never had cups before as I usually get my shaved ice fix from snowtime or sul bean. Located across from centerpoint mall in a busy plaza, we opted for small mango bingsoo and mr. Tran got himself a small muscat grape bingsoo. We also got twisted donuts. We got the buzzer as we had to wait for our bingsoo to be made, which did not take too long. The size was perfect for one person. I really liked the bingsoo as it was delicious and the mango was ripe to perfection. My toddler wouldn't stop eating from mine, so she really enjoyed it as well. I tried mr. Trans bingsoo, but it didn't taste like muscat grape.. it tasted like regular green grapes (muscat grapes has a distinct grape taste vs your average green grapes). The twisted donut was coated in sugar which was nice and it tasted yummy, but it was really oily (my fingers and the brown bag it came in was drenched it oil). I would only come back if I was in the area. read more

The Cups Ratings: 4.6/5 Food: 5/5 - This is my favorite bingsu place now! We came here after dinner with my boyfriend and his friends, and I was surprised by how yummy and delicious the bingsu were. I was so impressed, and low key asking my boyfriend if I can come again before I leave Toronto. Please read the descriptions below for more details on the bingsu we got! It was fantastic. - Sesame Bingsu [GET]: OMG! This bingsu is not like the ones I've tried in NYC or SF; it is so much better. The bingsu here is so smooth, creamy, and light, literally disappears in your mouth. I love the geneous amount of sesame powder they put on top of it. Also, as we dig into the bingsu, there's more layers of sesame powder in between the shaved ice, so we can taste the black sesame within each bite. The mochi is so fresh, chewy, and soft, definitely tasted like it was freshly made in-house. The ice cream was so creamy and have a strong sesame flavor, but not too sweet. I LOVE it, and then the red bean. It pairs so wonderfully with the other ingredients, and you can see it's really fresh from the solid red bean chunks, and again it's not too sweet or taste artificial at all! Ambiance: 4.5/5 - The Cups has a small storefront, looks nothing special, but their bingsu is amazing. It is located in a shopping center with tons of restaurants and across from Centerpoint Mall. Interior is bright, clean, and spacious. There's a ton of holiday decorations and decor, so feels very festival. They still have the clear dividers between tables from COVID I think. A great spot for friends or date night. It is not loud at all. There's a large parking lot too. Price: 4.5/5 - We got the small size sesame bingsu for $14 before tax to share. It was the right size for the two of us, and we were really satisfied and happy afterwards. It is 100% worth it, because it's premium quality shaved ice. Also, if you want an individual dessert, then get the "cup" size for $10, it's perfect for one! Service: 4.25/5 - Mostly self-service like most Korean dessert spots. There's menu at the table to see and water available as well, then when you are ready to order, you just head to the counter. We got a buzzer after paying and you can pick up the dessert at the counter once it's ready. The owner / staff at the cash register was so nice and friendly and was able to provide some recommendations, and let me watch how they make the bingsu. BLUF: The BEST spot for bingsu with tons of unique flavors and great variety of desserts to pick from such as the tiramisu cups and cakes. This is my go-to bingsu place in GTA, and I hope I can check it out again before I leave, because I want to come back to try the Tiramisu bingsu or the injeolmi bingsu. I adore The Cups. My friends took me to this hole in the wall cafe because I love cheesecake and bingsu. Their cheesecake bingsu was delicious and hits the spot. I went back three times that week because I couldn't get enough! I love their "cup" sized bingsu! Perfect for sharing or one eager glutton. They only take debit or cash! So please come prepared or you'll leave without bingsu! read more

Bingsu = Happiness The Cup has always been my favorite compares to other cafes that offers similar icy treats. This new location is probably has the best set up. Love the nice colour theme and the different sitting options. On a weekday after 9 pm, the cafe was quiet. I usually order Soybean and Matcha. My friend wanted to try Black Sesame instead and it was really good! The shaved ice was light, fluffy and airy. Parking maybe an issue as this plaza always insanely busy with all these restaurants! This is my go-to bingsu place! Their bingsu never disappoints and always satisfy my sweet cravings. My favourite bingsu is the Tiramisu Bingsu. You get a slice of tiramisu cake on-top and an espresso shot on the side. I'm not a coffee person but the espresso shot really helps balance the sweetness from the cake and condensed milk. I usually only put half of it and it's good enough. What makes this place over the top is probably the service. The owner is very friendly and detail oriented. I'm actually pleasantly surprised when he handed our bingsu to our table. ( You usually pick up the order yourself when you order from the counter) Also, we didn't even tell him where we are sitting. Been seeing this place over Instagram and headed over in search of some dessert post-lunch. The parking was a little hectic in the plaza since it is quite busy but we managed to find a spot within 5 minutes of arriving. The shop itself was easy to find, thanks to the abundance of large signage. We walked in to find a small space that still carried quite a big of seating! There was a long high-bar table on the left (good for 10-15 people, perfect for large groups) and about 4-5 tables on the righthand side, each good for about 5-6 people. Even today, a weekday around 2 pm, there were quite a few groups of people! Everyone seemed very content. We sat ourselves and heard someone greet us behind the counter. When my guests went to look at the menus on the wall, the employee offered them a menu to take back to our table to sit down and look. Their menu is quite vast - we ended up opting for a STRAWBERRY BINGSU and a BLACK SESAME FRAPPE. With 10% tip, this amounted to just over $20 (note that they only accept debit and/or cash). I guess you don't really need to tip since you go up to order and pay, then they call you to pick up your items to bring back to your seat yourself but they use dine-in dishes (hence the labor to wash) and the staff member was super friendly, so I think a tip is well-deserved. The employee thanked me when I brought back my tray and even thanked me again when we stepped out of the shop! In my photos, you can see a Happy Birthday sign - which I brought from home but asked the employee if she could top our strawberry bingsu with it since it was one of my guest's birthday coming up soon. She gladly accepted. The menu items were made so pretty! Just as advertised in the photos. It also tasted great. The shaved portions tasted a lot like yogurt to me and everything just complimented each other so well. The ice cream that topped the bingsu was nice and creamy as well. The winner for me though was the black sesame frappe - so rich in black sesame and not overly ice-y. Amazing. Overall, the shop was very clean as well. Definitely will be back for more goods. Bingsu is life!! Shaved ice is one of my favourite desserts and Cups has a wide selection. There are quite a lot of seats and the atmosphere is nice and quiet. Their menu offers bingsu, some toast items, and drinks (tea/flavour lattes and coffee based drinks). You order up at the counter and they give you a buzzer that will ring when you order is ready for pickup. They also have a station off to the side with a self serve water station. We ordered the injeolmi bingsu and injeolmi toast. Injeolmi is soybean powder and it is absolutely delicious. The bingsu comes with condensed milk and mochi pieces scattered throughout. We asked for some extra condensed milk on the side. The toast was warm and crispy with a thick mochi layer in the middle. It did not feel too heavy which is great since you can then eat more. Overall, this place is a great spot to go to for a catchup with friends or whenever you are craving for a shaved ice dessert! read more
First time at this location, and ordered the small tiramisu bingsu because I prefer it served in a bowl. It came with a mini slice of tiramisu on top. The bingsu was delicious, and the flavours went so well together. The downside was the pieces of plastic I found in my mouth and had to spit out. I stopped eating after finding the second piece. Luckily, I was almost done. Be careful when eating! read more
My friends and I decided to get the red bean bingsu but when I went up to order it, I had a brain fart and got the injeolmi bingsu instead. We realized it once they announced that our order was ready haha. Nevertheless, it was a good mistake because it was was so delicious! The soybean powder complemented very well with the creamy shaved ice. The atmosphere was also very beautiful, much indeed a very aesthetic place to look at. Good place to stop by for some dessert when in the area. read more

The Cups is one of my favourite bingsu cafés in Toronto! I ordered the Green Tea Bingsu in large to share between two, and it came with matcha ice cream, sweet red bean, chewy mochi (rolled in soybean powder), almond flakes, matcha powder on top of the bingsu, and a chocolate drizzle to top it off. I came half an hour before closing and they were still happy to serve! The shaved ice is light and airy and actually a bit sweet! Located in a plaza near Yonge and Steeles, The Cups is a dessert shop that specializes in the Korean shaved ice dessert: Bingsu. Today I wanted to try the Green Tea Bingsu. The dessert was topped with little mochi bites, red bean, and green tea ice cream. The dessert had just the right amount of sweetness and was loaded with matcha flavour. I was so happy to find a Cups Bingsu on Steele's. There used to be one at First Markham Place, but it closed. My friends and I went on a Thursday night and ordered one large strawberry and one large mango. It was about $30 which is a bit pricey, but still quite worth it. The strawberry was really good and had enough condensed milk to keep the flavour going until we hit the bottom of the bowl. The ice cream is also bomb! The cheesecake on the sides weren't that sweet either so it was perfect for my friends and I. When Cups was still opened at First Markham Place, we would always leave the cheesecake on the side because it was a bit too sweet for our likings. The only problem my friends and I had with the mango one was that the fruit was so sour that we ended up leaving a couple of pieces of mango in the bowl. Also, I should have paid attention and requested to get rid of the whip cream. Otherwise it was still pretty good. The place itself is very cute with bright colourful colours and friendly staff. I ordered the coffee bingsu. It had a lot of delicious toppings on a bed of shaved frozen milk and syrup. The atmosphere was refreshing, and the staff was friendly. I loved it so much I bought the cheese bingsu to go! I would love to come back for some more Korean frozen dessert. read more
Wow! The shaved iced was fine and there were no big chunks of ice. It's probably one of the best bingsu I've ever had in Toronto. We ordered 2 items for takeout, which took roughly 15 minutes. Would definitely come here again! read more
This was a pleasant surprise after dinner. We came here after going to SsangKye. We ordered the green tea and blueberry bingsu for 4 people. The green tea with red bean was very good! The blueberry bingsu was good too but the blueberries were frozen which stained my lips and teeth. The proportions are very large so I recommend sharing it with others. The ambience is also very cute! This location sells some Korean beauty supplies and they have some samples in the washroom as well: which includes essence, face cream, eye cream and hand cream. I recommend this little hole in the wall. It gets busy so come with a small group as seating is limited. read more
