Bloodgood, Emperor One, Fireglow, Skeeter's Broom...there are varieties here that I didn't even know existed. The trees come in various sizes and are priced according to how big they are, from smaller sized ones on the cheaper end to huge trees that will definitely require a truck to bring back home. I will say that the pricing is a bit on the higher side (think $200-400 for a maple), but the plants are in good condition and good quality. This is a self serve nursery, so don't expect much in terms of service or help -- but if you know what you're looking for or just want to browse the selection, it's a great place.

She said it was normal for leaves to go yellow as it's growing. The Echeveria is one of the cat friendly plants. I had my cats sniff at it and they didn't care for it. Baby succulent will be safe :) What I found online, "succulents are beneficial for improving air quality, promoting a calming atmosphere, and potentially even aiding in stress reduction and boosting productivity. They also offer low-maintenance care, making them ideal for indoor environments." Closing up with it being a good size store located at the end of Ringwood Ct. Plenty of parking. Prepare to spend 30 minutes perusing around in finding your ideal plant. Owner is quite helpful with explaining on how to care for a plant and what to choose. I'd say it's a good starter plant for the beginning of a hobby and I'd say good for the kids to learn about nature. My first plant as a kid was a terrarium.

A friendly, relaxed but very professional and perfectly tailored experience for the age of our granddaughter. It was wonderful what she received during those 90 minutes: getting to know the horse in the stable, grooming it, putting on the saddle and bridle and then walking it herself to the well taken care of and large sand arena for the actual riding lesson. Then the lessons themselves: lots of friendly and helpful instruction but also the reminder "you have to show the horse who's boss." 20 minutes before the actual end of the 90 minute lesson - back to the stable and the handling of all the things necessary for the horse after a ride. Some carrots for it as a thank you, and then back to its stable. What fun it was to be there as an observer! Last but not least, thanks to the wonderful young lady who was the teacher!

I mostly get bedding and food for my chickens and bird seed of which they have a large selection. During the spring, they sell chicks as well and you have to check their website for types and days that you can get them and you have to line up early. I saw harness and leashes for chickens on my last visit! The service tends to be hit or miss but mostly miss. The ladies at the counter don't necessarily want to answer any questions and have several times waved me to a section when I asked for an item so I gave up asking questions. You have to pick and pay for your items and then provide the receipt to one of the helpers outside who will load the items in your vehicle. I have seen people pulling trailer loaded high with bales of hay. I haven't seen them selling eggs but they have chicken towards the back of the yard. If you pay with anything other than cash, even debit card, they will charge either a fixed amount or a flat fee, which tends to be a bit higher than most places. Take cash. Plenty of parking and it's in a quiet neighborhood. One of the last places left that sells affordable animal feed at a reasonable price!

The chicks are locked behind a closed door this time around and no one can enter except the staff. The staffs told us that we are NOT ALLOWED to see the chicks prior to purchasing. You have to choose the chick breed you want and they just give it to you. Their reasoning is that because the chicks will change and look different growing up. That is extremely weird and unheard of, if you are buying a pet, you would want to see it before purchasing. This usually curtails certain issues; there is an unhealthy chick, illness is visibly noticeable, the holding pen is extremely dirty or possible bait and switch scheme (you buy a certain breed and you're given another one). Everyone knows that their chicks will grow up looking differently, it's common knowledge that chicks and full grown hens look different.
