First time completing a pickup order for family that lives in that area (I live out of state). The entire process was very easy, and I have to give huge kudos for whoever was filling the order because they kept checking-in to ensure the substitutions were okay for things that were not in stock. Prices are fair, I feel pretty mainstream for today. I was a bit surprised by the pickup fee because where I live they don't have that. However, the coupons I used balanced it all out. ​I recently lost some money at price chopper and Management and his employees were very helpful when it came to helping even though it was a complete loss I still appreciate the time they took to help a brother out. I'm not sure what happened to the Google reviews, but they treat you like family. I shop here often and the workers are friendly and one of it's employees lives within my community isn't that something. I was pretty excited when the store opened, which turned to disappointment. Before it opened we used to go to ShopRite in Stroudsburg (much improved over the last 10 years) or Wegmans in Easton/Nazareth, so at first we thought it was great we have another high quality Supermarket very close to home. Initially the product selection was incredible, the deli department had Columbus products, which we like but one day it disappeared, when we asked why we were told that it wasn't that popular, so it is being discontinued. Ok... But on top of this the organic stuff initially seem to vanish it also seem that some of the products like dill didn't appear in the store until at least 6 months in... Right now the product selection had much improved dill is regularly available, the organic selection is nice and constant but having a better organic selection in the meats, seafood, dairy, etc will go a long way. The ethnic selection is available but is jumbled together and not a lot of decent products. So overall we don't use it as our main store but get little stuff here and there, still think of ShopRite or Wegmans as our main stores but there is a lot of things that can be done to make it the better option. read more

A Big grocery store in this part of town. 1. They have a beer/alcohol corner. They have all the basic beers but don't have anything special. 2. They have a cold cuts area. 3. Bakery for cakes and breads 4. Seafood - frozen and fresh - is more on the pricy side Generally, you can find what you generally need here. This is a questionable supermarket, however there was an unlikely and disturbing incident my 8 year old daughters and I experienced about 2-3 years ago. We were returning home from a long weekend and decided to run in to pick up some necessities. While using the restroom we were visible and audible, so there was NO mistake, a MAN just walks in like we were of no concern (the azzhole worked there! I yelled and asked him WTF was he doing? He not only looked shocked he was surprised I addressed him that way! So I told a manager, the manager showed ZERO concern, so I GRACED all those heathens with every discipline any MOTHER would! I was disappointed and disgusted that we were treated that way. It was actually an eye opener to how callous and deprived some people are! I stopped shopping at that location and now stick to SHOP-RITE; we feel way more respected there! read more

My friends and I rented a cabin in Bushkills Falls. We needed to get groceries before anything. This store has very nice prices. It was clean , and it was spacious. What I didn't really appreciate was in one aisle they had sections for different "cultures". Asians, Mexican, Jamaican, etc. Yeah it makes the cuisine easier to find, But I just felt like it should have been mixed in with everything. Eh maybe I'm sensitive. Idk. But the staff weren't all that friendly. They don't speak, they don't acknowledge you. I woudn't return. read more

I went to the store on 3/29, around 2:30pm, as I needed a few items. I was standing by the meat, just looking, when the meat guy came out and threw 2 packages of London broil in the case in front of where I was standing. Very rude of him, he could have said excuse me I need to stock this, something, but no just decided to throw them in front of where I was standing and walks away. I know things are scary right now, but being rude to the people that are keeping your job secure right now is wrong. There are so many people wishing they were still working, even in these conditions, but they are struggling to keep food on the table and their bills paid. Having to deal with this, I will not, I will drive the 20 minutes to Shoprite and do my shopping next time even though this store is right across the street from where I live. read more

I went in this morning to grab a bagel and an apple. Only one register was open. I go there - no cashier. Two employees standing talking to a woman right in front of the managers office. I ask them if anyone is here, (at the register), they ignore me and continue chatting. I then look to the man at the courtesy desk and ask if if anyone is coming , he picks up the phone and turns his back to me. I look at the employees having the conversation again and ask if anyone can help. No reply. I leave my items at the register and on my way out ask for a manager. The red head woman claims she is the manager right now. I state that I have been tryong to get their attention but they keep looking away as I just wanted to check out and get to work. I mention that they were too busy having a conversation to help me. The rude red head head says that they were talking to a customer (Hmm, ok but its a conversation that has nothing to do with price chopper). She starts giving me an attitude, in a loud tone, saying that the woman is in the bathroom and they are human (as she is walking away from me). She then states,"she called out today, what do you want me to do" (Maybe get on the register and wait on the customer , you see me in there all the time). Gotcha, I would never deny someone a restroom break but someone should have rang me up (3 employees ingnored me). I told her I would be calling corporate - How have we come down to "management" treating loyal customers this way. This store has really gone down hill. I ask for her name (meanwhile shes yelling "Have a great day" at me). Maybe Gina?? She kept her back to me. All someone had to do is either tell me someone would be right with me or as a good manager would do, ring me up. I will be calling the store manager and corporate - I will re-post when/if I get a reply. read more

Very solid selection of food for the location. Prices were reasonable, but nothing special for being called Price Chopper. Ok beer selection. The largest quantity they had was a twelve pack and they had a small craft beer selection. Also the checkout for beer was separate than the grocery store. I assume this is some PA thing, but don't just walk pass the cashier assuming you can buy it with the rest of your groceries. read more

Ok for a quick trip to pick up a few items. Prices are ok & selection is limited. My experiences with deli, seafood & meat dept are not positive. Almost every time I was initially ignored or their was no one there to wait on me. The very worst thing I saw today was while waiting @ the meat counter watching the butcher placing meat on a rack then coughing directly on the meat !!! read more

They seem like the Sears of grocery stores. Prices are high compared to the competition which is ironic for a store called Price Choppers. The selection isn't that great. They carry the basics, nothing out of the ordinary. Bakery has the usual muffins, donuts and cookies. Seafood department was the standout for the store. read more

As a new PA resident, a neighbor told me about Pricechopper. I love its hours of operation and the large selection of foods including prepared foods such as freshly cooked fish made to order. There are always a variety of value items on sale each week. The staff is very helpful and takes pride in their customer service. I always get a rotisserie chicken with a dry rub seasoning added on to intensify the flavor. During the blackout I was able to charge my cellphone in the cafe section. Pricechopper is now my go to store for all my groceries! read more

I am so impressed by your handling of the catastrophe heaped upon us. I had to pick up 7 or 8 items on Tuesday. Every shopper stayed 6' from each other. I got on a beautifully marked line at checkout. The person ahead of me was waiting for someone to pay. A darling cashier had told her to wait till she was finished as she had to wipe the belt. Makayla sprayed and wiped entire belt. As that customer was leaving, I asked if she had to wipe belt again. Cheerfully she said yes and did the entire belt AGAIN. I felt safe and welcome. This is horrible but my shopping visit was GRRR8. I'm 82 and blonde but I can make up computer words!! read more

I had high hopes but it kinda let me down. Employees are nice. The parking lot has assigned spots for customers with children, but I see people park ther who don have kids. Price Chopper does nothing to monitor that, so the cheaters get away with it. They have a nice variety of food, but the fresh fruits and vegetables often go bad in a few days. read more

Walked up to the cafe where 2 employees were talking in a doorway. When I was about to the door one turned their back to me blocking the door so that I could not enter without asking him to move. Inside at the cafe nobody was at the counter to sell coffee. Just sat down to use internet as that is why I came in the first place. Internet worked great so that is something I guess. Saw another customer waiting a few minutes near coffee counter before leaving. read more

This place is over priced but when they put things on sale they are good sales and it's open 24 hours a day witch is nice

I found the store to be adequate and like it open 24 hrs. People that complain don't even live here. Most from NYC area. I suggest they go back to there with the dirty stores, higher prices and and poor attitude of the employee staff there. Beautiful looking supermarket but my question is why they call it Price chopper when the prices are nothing chopped about. Little bit on the expensive side. in comparison to the nearby supermarkets. And I also want to mention about the gas promotion they run. Using the Sunoco across the road which is the most expensive gas in the neighborhood. You'll have to spend hundreds of dollars in groceries before you can really see any savings. read more

Was completely excited for this store to open until I saw how over priced it was and how bad the selection was. Offering your customers only one brand of chicken and no turkey items is bad business! That's all my family eats and I don't buy anything that doesn't say hormone free and antibiotic free. That's a big deal especially when you are allergic and it doesn't cook out. Also the lines are always too long and no one is helpful at all. Stay away! Do your self a huge favor and drive to the Giant in Bartonsville like I do. Cheaper and better selection. read more
