So frustrating! When you think you got a deal set, and you're planning on picking up that car that you've been haggling over all day. You're excited to be done dealing with multiple car dealerships, and are super happy that you got the car you wanted. Telling all your friends, bragging to that girl you trying to take out, going through all the new memories you and that car are going to have together. Just for you to realize, they sold it out from under you, and are now trying to pitch this "other car, that's just as great" at you. Your heart sinks, your vision goes black, and it hits you that it was all just an out of reach dream that never would or will happen... Well, that was my experience with Price Ford of Turlock. Call it business ethics, the ol' bait and switch tactic, just looking for that better deal, call it whatever you want. At the end of the day, you're still human, and you really should feel like a**holes when you go home at night. Just know that it's bad business, because you just lost a potential lifetime customer, and really broke my heart. I was looking forward to making memories in those backseats man! First dealership ever that did not care about selling a car. Insurance company was closed Saturday and Sunday so we could not provide our declaration page until Monday. Price ford would not give us a binder (temp auto insurance). We gave them another option that we would purchase a different policy just to drive the car out of the lot but they would have to hold a $500 dollar check for 2 weeks. They said no. I felt bad for our sales rep because his Sales Manager cost him a deal. Another thing that I did not like was. Paul was the Internet Sales Rep I had been working with. We got to the dealership about 3 hours early so Paul was unable to attend us (no big deal my fault for showing up un announced) However I would have appreciated if Paul had finish working with us once he was available. read more

I spent months researching the specific F-150 packages and options we needed to haul our new RV along with all the creature comforts we wanted. Once that was done it was time to find a dealer with that truck in stock. I looked locally and was frustrated by every dealer's website just showing the sticker price. I already had that info from Ford's website. I was also dismayed by a lot of bad reviews of local dealers, so I started to expand my search to dealers within a couple hours drive. That's when I found Patchett's! It was refreshing to find a dealer that publishes actual prices on their website. And much to my pleasant surprise the price was below what KBB and Edmunds had as reasonable prices for this truck and options! Also, there were plenty of good Yelp reviews and I was encouraged by the responses to the not so good reviews. So, after pleasant email exchanges, off to Turlock we went. We met with Josh who answered all of our questions and took us for a test drive. Then we went inside for the dreaded negotiations, and Josh gave us no pressure at all! Just lots of helpful discussion and information. And while I was initially trying to hold my cards close, Josh earned our trust and soon we were having frank negotiations, primarily regarding our trade-in because the truck was at rock bottom pricing to begin with. It wasn't too long before we struck a deal! We feel like we got a great deal on the truck we wanted, and we were treated well too. I certainly don't have the unpleasant aftertaste I had from my previous experiences buying a car. And as a loyal Ford driver, I will not hesitate to shop at Patchett's again in the future! read more

This place overall sucks and salesmen are super unprofessional especially with their lack of communication skills. Drove over an hour and a half after speaking to a salesman the night before over the phone. While on the phone the guy we spoke to was very nice but wasn't very much help as he told us he would not be there early for personal reasons but would get someone else to help us out. We get there before our appointment to find out another deal was being worked out which is understanding however the car had been reserved for us as written on a paper that was placed in the car. The salesman then proceeded to say he called us while on our way there which was untrue. We then were sat down and were told the deal that was being worked out was already made a week prior . It was just super frustrating that our time and gas which they failed to compensate us for went to waste. But now I know for next time Imao. For everyone thinking of coming to purchase a vehicle here, think again. Over the phone they were top notch and everyone has been great. Clean and cooled lobby area. Free shuttle service that I used to get dropped off to go shopping. I cannot race enough of this place. Initially I thought this place was ok but I got an email recently saying "As compensation to you, if we could upgrade you to a newer Ford Fiesta keeping your payments about the same, would you consider letting us purchase your car?" Along with a long email saying my payments would be almost identical and they'd work with me. Right as we get there the first thing they tell me is "we don't have any more fiestas or focus'" ...ok then why did you even offer this to me? I was on a long road trip with a truck I had recently purchased in TX when I had a major error message pop-up on my dashboard as I was driving by the dealership, so I immediately pulled in. They initially told me the 1st available appt was the following week. Once I spoke with Curtiss about my issues, he discovered that my particular serious problem was under warranty and was able to get my truck fixed the same day. Wow. I'm so impressed. Today I took my 22 car in for a simple routine oil change, and it took 3 hours to get my oils change done, who has 3 hours to wait to get their oil change done. My son was on a 10 day leave from the Air Force and had to purchase a vehicle so he could drive to his new base assignment in New Mexico! We purchased a used Nissan Juke which he loves but it was missing the backseat headrests. Christian checked and said no problem previous owner had them and will drop them off. This was on Wednesday and my son had to leave on Saturday early morning. The previous owner didn't drop them off on Wednesday, Thursday or on Friday and I was freaking out because headrests cost a fortune! This was the easiest, fastest, and most pleasant car buying experience I ever had. I have been searching for a used Toyota Sequoia for half a year now and there was no luck around my area in So Cal with all the specs I wanted. I broaden my search and finally found the SUV I want at this Ford dealership in the middle of nowhere, a 5 hour drive from me. But I thought I would just give it a try. I reached out online to request more info on the SUV, same day a Salesman by the name of Joseph reached out to me via text, which to be honest, I prefer. He was very transparent with me from the start. I had a trade in as well and he was able to communicate with me and we negotiated over text. I felt that trust with him since our first conversation, so I went ahead and made the move to fill out a Finance application online. Joseph went above and beyond to work with his Finance Manager to get to a number where I was comfortable with. It wasn't until a week later was when I was able to make the road trip down to purchase the SUV. Joseph kept his word and held up to his end of the bargain. I got to the lot and everything was as it said to be, the car was very nice. They got me in and out the dealership within 2 hours. That's the fastest time ever for me. I'm use to being at a dealership for the whole day. The customer service at Price Ford did not stop there. When I drove the car home (the 5 hour road trip) I notice the tire pressure light and another light was lit. I reached out to Joseph right away and took it to my preferred Toyota dealership for service. Joseph said not to worry and that Price Ford will take care of it, they sure did! They have a 7 day return policy for used cars. I highly recommend Price Ford for your New/Used Ford or for any Used car they have on their lot. Be sure to ask for Joseph as he is an exceptional Salesman that really value his customers. Matt, the Finance Manager, was great too! As an update, I'd to say I'm pleased with the way Jarrad Sitton handled my situation. He contacted me the Monday following my original review (posted Saturday) and was quick to correct the problems I had. He put in a next-day air order for my air vent and on Tuesday, my air vent was replaced, my valve stem caps were reimbursed, and the plastic pillars on the sides of my windshield were properly reinstalled and cleaned. Thank you Jarrad, for making things right. Original review I expected this crap from Big Valley Ford in Stockton but it looks like this is just a Ford thing. Their technicians do NOT freaking care about the work that they do. I took my car in for 1) a passenger airbag recall and 2) multiple pcm updates. Upon returning my car to me, I find that my bezel for my air vent on the passenger side is snapped, causing the flow tube for the a/c to fall in completely. So not only did the technician break the bezel and SLOPPILY try to put it back in place, but one of two things additionally happened: either a) the technician did not bother to tell anyone about his mistake OR b) the technician told a parts associate of his error and the parts associate did nothing about it. Either way, I had to find out on my own after I got my car back. I went back to get this new problem fixed and I'm having to sit with a broken vent for the next 4 days while they order the new bezel. As for my second problem that was a result of a thoughtless technician, my headlamps didn't work! Every time I'd lock my car with my fob, my car would honk twice, which is normally a result of an open door/trunk/hood. None of that was my problem. My headlights were absolutely not plugged in correctly. My parking lights, fog lights, low beams and high beams did not work. God forbid if I would have attempted driving home at night. I wouldn't have been able to. I had to take it back for a third time. Luckily they were able to plug it back in right then and there AND they gave me a full tank of gas, but it doesn't change the fact that there was a huge safety hazard that I again had to find out on my own. Also, my valve stem caps are missing on all four tires. So thanks for either throwing those away (custom caps by the way) or once again forgetting about them. So thanks Price Ford, for screwing up like every Ford dealership does. It honestly would not have been bad if I was told prior that my vent broke during the recall repair, a new part was ordered, and they'll replace it when it comes in. But because I had to find out the hard way that my vent was broken AND my headlamps didn't work, I'll be damned if I ever come back again. read more

Was told by service dept my 2018 Mustang was having cylinder ticking problems and where going to keep the car for multiple weeks asked for a loanee car since the car is my daily was rejected right away and sent to enterprise for 30 dollars a day rental? Just to let local yelpers know, if you bought your car from Pattchetts and got the lifetime oil changes, that program isn't available with the new ownership. From what I was told, you get 5 free oil changes to "ease" customers into the transition. I guess it's better than nothing, but considering I was planning on having this vehicle for 10 years, I was obviously planning on getting more than 5 complimentary oil changes. I've had good experiences with employees at Pattchetts, but this is a very disappointing decision by new ownership. read more

My husband purchased a used truck from them a year ago on July 1st...they said they needed a couple days for it to be serviced....after 3 weeks off different information from the service manager, salesman and service techs we finally got to bring it home. Still had to go back for the windshield to be replaced because they hadn't done it in the 3 weeks they had it...we got a $25 Starbucks card for it and even though they said they replaced parts for the a/c, we have a non-functional air conditioner in it...would never come here again...I have never had such a horrible buying experience! read more

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the price of the truck was the same. The dealership demanded that I purchase LoJack, even after the agreed upon final "out the door" price. The person who replied was not involved in the negotiations and is unaware how I was treated by their sales staff. They threatened to cancel the "deal" if I would not buy LoJack several times. I had to send my texts/emails to the manager on duty in order for them to accept the transaction showing him that they told me I could buy the truck without the $1k. option. It was extremely shady!! Then after a day of negotiations, filling out paperwork/loan docs and spending hours on purchasing the truck, even after the whole LoJack debacle. They contacted me and said I had to come in person to buy, which they knew from the beginning I was going to do the transaction remotely, they even confirmed this in my texts, knowing I was in San Diego. I told them at the beginning of negotiations I was shipping, they had no issue and when we started doing the paperwork they reconfirmed this with me. Out of nowhere, and after I spend days on this purchase, they demanded I come in person to sign papers or they would not sale it to me. Telling me I had to tell them when I would be there immediately or they would not hold the truck. Yes, my words became a little nasty after I was screwed around and they wasted hours of my time. Although there sales manager was anything but nice when I spoke to him on the phone about the LoJack option. Bought 12 cars in the last 10 years, nearly all were done over the phone! November 16th I took my Ford F150 to the dealership due to my turbo leaking an excessive amount of oil. My husband being a Diesel Mechanic, instantly knew the issue as soon as he seen it. Since my truck was purchased "New" back in February of 2019 we took it back to the dealership to have them look at it first thing Monday morning. I also put a call in to Ford Customer Relations. I've been notified by both the dealership and Ford Customer Relations stating the Turbo was leaking and that the parts would be replaced - just not the motor. However, I have not even owned the vehicle a year and now my motor has been compromised. The dealership and the "specialist" made a report stating that the oil was NOT internal. I have photos that show the oil IS internal and will create everlasting issues. I'm supposed to pay on a vehicle I purchased NEW with a motor that's been compromised and has not even reached 20K miles?? Price Ford's Tech. did not chart oil leakage internally therefore the "Specialist" who based his report off of the technicians did not find a reason for the motor to be replaced. How can photo's lie?? How come a specialist who is overlooking the case does not physically have to overlook the truck and can base a report off of another techs work?? That like a health doctor doing surgery without even meeting you and then not even taking care of the issue you went in for. I personally spent over $60,000 to be lied to. I forgot to mention the same Sunday I took my truck in - I referred my friend to Price Ford. She ended up purchasing a vehicle on that Monday. I sure hope she does not experience the same treatment from Ford. I can't imagine someone who does not have the knowledge of a mechanic going through this and putting their trust into Ford. Its a SHAME!!!!!!!!!!! -- Second Update: My vehicle has since had parts replaced due to the oil leak as well as the turbo no longer working properly. My transmission was also "fixed" due to it not shifting properly. I've since had to do a ride along to show the mechanic the reoccurring issue. I'm supposed to take it back in to be evaluated for repair. However, my vehicle was in the autobody shop getting a repair on the tailgate and I was notified that there is some concerning issues with the frame that they needed to document on their end to cover liability of their company. The photos show the vehicle frame being compromised. The frame is twisted in the photos and rusted. I again, purchased this vehicle NEW so that way I wouldn't have to deal with problems of a used vehicle! This trucks that I purchased NEW almost a year ago is a liability to FORD and is unsafe for me and others on the road. This cannot be "repaired" as it needs to be REPLACED. This vehicle has been tempered with and I purchased it under the impression that it was NEW WITHOUT ANY MECHANICAL OR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. I do not recommend this dealership as I was told this is how the frame is supposed to be and that my lawyer can contact them. I also mentioned if they could note that I came in showing the pictures and they did not want to do that on their end. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED POORLY (unless your purchasing a vehicle), LIED TOO, & have REOCCURRING ISSUES WITH YOUR VEHICLE!! read more

I feel a little weird writing a review for a car dealership I didn't end up using, but I'm going to do it anyway. I had a good experience dealing with these guys. A lot of people are mentioning Josh by name, so I will too. He was my internet sales guy, and the prices he gave - wow. Easily the least expensive prices for some of these new cars available. The price he gave for the Ford Fusion Hybrid was literally $1,500 less than anyone else provided for the exact same model. I do not know how they profit. But after dealing with something like 20 different car dealers, they did two things here that I like: - There was no pressure. - They followed up. Usually it's one or the other. Someone follows up constantly (usually poorly) and tries to pressure me to come to the store, or they give me the no pressure environment I want but I never hear from them again despite having some interest in their cars. When I dealt with Razzari, I actually told them I'd buy a car from them if they could find the model, and they never contacted me back. Patchetts recommended cars I would like, sent me details and competitive pricing, and otherwise didn't force me to buy. It wasn't just Josh either. I also called Patchetts one day when I was going to come in and test drive a car. The manager said "you're welcome to come, but we're short a person and so we're not able to give great customer service today. If possible you may want to come in another day." Not bad, Patchetts. Sorry I didn't buy a car from you, but I like the way you run your business. read more

Some lady that works there told my husband that she is a professor of art, but was doing the shuttle thing as a side job also told my husband about being divorced and being hit on by older men than her but that she likes younger nice men like him. I have been a customer of Pattchetts Ford (now Price Ford) since 1984, both purchasing vehicles and getting them serviced. I know this is an old issue however, initially I was less than impressed with Price Ford when they took over. I was informed that my "lifetime" free oil changes had been reduced to "5" oil changes per car. Which will add several hundred to a few thousand dollars to my maintenance bills over the years. (dependant on how long I keep my vehicles) While I understand Price Ford is under no obligation to recognize or adhere to Pattchetts Ford's old policies, as a customer the additional maintenance costs over the next few years is a pill I'll have to swallow and I'm not pleased about. Recently however I was somewhat impressed with the efforts of the service manager and his handling of an intermittent problem I was having with a car. In the end they solved the problem, and didn't try to over charge me like some repair facilities have tried in the past. I went in prepared to argue, but didn't have too, I left feeling I was treated fairly. I hope this trend continues, as it made me feel better about the dealership. My ranking would higher if not for the discontinuation of the oil change program, however my opinion has improved somewhat in light of my recent visit to the dealership detailed above. read more

My 2005 T-Bird was running rough. I had taken it to Tom Hillier Ford in Escalon and spent $2,400 before pulling it out because they didn't know what they were doing. Took it to Price Ford and it was fixed within a day for less than the next step would have been at Hillier Ford. (and their next step was not the problem). Curtis Beagle was great!
