DO NOT ADOPT HERE!!! THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR KITTENS PROPERLY & GIVE AWAY SICK ANIMALS WITHOUT TELLING YOU. We recently adopted a kitten from Priceless Pets in Costa Mesa. We love her dearly and are so happy she's part of our family, but our experience with the organization has been very disappointing. When we met our kitten at the adoption center, we noticed she had crusty eyes and could barely open them. A staff member even saw it and brushed it off with, "oh, I wouldn't worry about it." Unfortunately, it turned out to be a sign of something serious. Within a day of bringing her home, we knew we had to take her to the vet because of her crusty eyes, sneezing, and coughing. Our vet diagnosed her with CALICIVIRUS, a highly contagious illness that can spread to other cats. We also noticed some of the other kitten in the adoption center had crusty eyes and looked sick as well. We immediately spent over $700 in vet bills to get her treated. When we contacted Priceless Pets, they refused to refund the adoption fee or help with medical costs. Their only response was to offer sending us to their vet in Chino Hills for a discount, long after we had already rushed her to our own vet for care. We adore our kitten, but Priceless Pets should have been transparent about her health and taken responsibility. Dismissing obvious symptoms and failing to disclose a contagious virus is unacceptable. Families adopting deserve honesty about an animal's condition so they can make an informed decision and protect other pets at home. Here she is before & after treatment! We adopted her last weekend

We just adopted our second pet from them! It's the best addition to our family!!! They are working really hard to make it work and it must not be easy, and I must say they are doing a great job! All the pets seem well taken care off and staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend. Adopt don't buy!

My wife and I got our Bombay kitten from here and we could not be happier. As first-time pet owners, we did not know what to expect or where to even start. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out, the staff at Priceless Pets was right there with us making sure we were comfortable and more importantly, that we were the right parents for the kitten. Dana (I believe her name was) was the lady that helped us, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was so caring, personable, an absolute pet lover herself and an all-around great person. Dana, thank you so much for gifting us our fur baby, we could not be happier, and he is the highlight of our life! Priceless pets provided us with enough food for a week, all vaccinations, neutering, training advice and was even able to call in the vet to get our kitten her last shot the same day so we didn't have to come back in a week. Very accommodating and warming staff at Priceless Pets. They are all very caring and put the animals first. Go checkout Priceless Pets if you are looking for a pet from a no-kill shelter, they won't steer you wrong. 5 Star.

I am extremely disappointed and appalled by the treatment I received at Priceless Pets on August 29, 2024, and again on September 9th, 2024. As someone with extensive experience in animal rescue, I expected better from an organization that is supposed to support the care of animals. After rescuing five kittens from a friend's apartment near South Coast Plaza and receiving explicit approval from Costa Mesa Animal Control to bring them in, I was met with hostility and unprofessionalism from Cindy Instead of receiving support, I was called a liar, sketchy, and even a trespasser. Cindy informed me I was no longer allowed to bring in animals under my name due to the false accusation that I had dropped off multiple animals before, which is completely untrue. Outside of this situation, I have only ever brought one other animal to them, a 13-year-old cat whom was abandoned by its owner. I flea treated her, dewormed her and even provided revolution prior to bringing her in knowing she needed this treatment. I paid for the FeLV/ FIV test out of my own pocket to keep her in my home safely with my other cats while I held her for the 10 day hold until she could be legally relinquished to me. At which time I decided to adopt her due to her age. When I began questioning how this decision was made, I was called very disparaging names. I was flat-out refused when I asked to speak to someone in charge. The level of disrespect and discrimination I experienced was appalling, especially given that Priceless Pets is contracted with the city to handle situations like this. Cindy's attitude was unnecessarily rude and unjustified. To make matters worse, I have always supported Priceless Pets through donations and supplies, but after this experience, I no longer feel they value the community or the work individuals like myself do to help animals in need. The unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and outright rudeness--specifically from Cindy--need to be addressed. I hope that I can finally make contact with the supervisor of Cindy to address this and understand what the point was of treating me in such a manner. Cindy was dishonest with me, and I know they keep security video, I hope her conduct can be reviewed, and they can see how unfairly I was treated. I sincerely hope others don't have to go through this, but I will no longer be supporting Priceless Pets if this kind of behavior is considered acceptable. ** update: I have made two attempts to email the founder Lisa regarding the treatment I received. I have not received one response. It's clear by the lack of unprofessionalism, that the behavior I received is not only tolerable but acceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with the city. I had hoped to address this before it got to this point, but I will not allow the treatment I received by Cindy to be allowed to me or anyone else, especially when it is unjustified. Please use caution when interacting with Cindy at Priceless Pets as she will treat you however she feels and when you try to address it with upper Managment she will block you from any information to do so and kick you out of the facility. *** second update: I was finally contacted by Lisa Price. She did Apologize for Cindy's behavior. We had a very informative conversation. I appreciate Lisa reaching out and trying to rectify the situation.

I adopted a puppy from them who was 3 months old. I had all of her vaccinations by them for free, and her spay at their other vet location. They made it such a smooth sailing process, and were very polite. Also, know that you can donate dog clothes and collars if yours outsizes them. Thank you guys! You can tell they want the best for their animals

I love it here!! I couldn't recommend Priceless Pet Rescue enough. The staff, volunteers, dogs and cats are all amazing. You can tell that they all deeply care about the animals in their care. They rescue dogs from all over. They save dogs that are in the list to be euthanized from local shelters, they rescue hounds from the east, they take dogs from Mexico, owner surrenders, you name it. It seems that every volunteer has their favorite animal. The shelter is clean and the dogs get lots of walks and love throughout the day. It is busier on the weekends so be patient with the their team! We recommend Priceless Pets to everyone we know that's looking for a new family member!

She stuck it rich and she knows it..

So he saw me coming from a mile away and left them here but said only for a few hours and surprise surprise he never came back or answered his phone after that or replied to any of my texts. And as a matter of fact blocked me all together on fb. So i did what i had to do when i was left with no other choice but to look in to relinquishing them to a shelter. And it was tough because the first day after he brought them WITHOUT a cage and just brought the babies in a shoebox and momma he was holding in his arms with no food for momma. So he screwed me. And i had to do what i had to do. So i understood everywhere i went at first because the number 1 policy is that the person taking the animal or animals has to live in that city so the first three had a legitimate excuse but then i went to the appropriate one and my bad i forgot my ID ive never done this before so i didnt know there was such a process. And i went took the cats back home and got my ID went the next day with kittens ID ready to go because thats what they said that thats the only thing i would need to be helped there. And im there a different woman and the same one that was there the day before were now both at front desk and the one i hadnt seen the day before starts to ask for my ID and asks what i was doing and i look at the other one and i asked her if now i was going to be helped because i did what she said and the other one asked me what seemed like a TRICK QUESTION one that no matter how i answered would be the wrong answer and i knew i was there the day before so i said two days because i didnt want to lie and the girl says its $800. $100 for each cat because ive had them for two days so that made them legally my pets AND I WAS HOT BECAUSE FIRST OFF IM NOT A PIECE OF SHIT I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY PETS TO A FUCKING SHELTER. I CARE FOR MY PETS THEIR MY FAMILY. So then i said because some guy abandoned them that made them mine really because i was there the day before but they didnt want to proceed even when i promised i would email a picture of my identification. So im trying to do the right thing and would it have been better if i left them at their door and one of the women immediately talks over me and takes a copy of my id without my permission and says she's going to use it and contact the authorities and say i abandoned my cats and its a felony and all of this with my dad sitting in a chair in the waiting room. She was talking out of her ass like if she were a lawyer guarantee she doesnt know the law. But thats how bad this place is

This was my family's first experience with pet adoption. Pet Match Rescue (PMR) made the experience smooth and organized, by having the adoptable pets online for review and applications available online so that you can prepare one in advance. You can look at their events list for an opportunity to meet the dog and talk with someone from the Pet Match organization. I love how Pet Match cares for its animals and focuses primarily on what is in the best interest in each of its dogs. They want to meet everyone in your family, talk with you and ensure there will be plenty of love and good compatibility between you and your future pet. If you want an organization where you just give them money and get a dog, no questions asked...this is not the place for you! They truly love their dogs and want them to have the best possible home. On the day of the event, we arrived at Petco and followed the Pet Match signs to visit Beverly, the beautiful little Yorkie/Pomeranian that we previously viewed on the website. We found a pen with some of the adoptable dogs in it, along with Phyllis, their foster mom. There we had an opportunity to visit with Beverly and chat with Phyllis about the dog. We found Phyllis to be a very friendly, caring foster mom for these dogs, with a very loving heart. She told us all about the little dog, including how she likes to play, her personality and eating habits. We were given an opportunity to take the dog for a short walk and get acquainted with our possible new companion. Along the walk our family spoke with Phyllis and shared what our home would be like for Beverly. After our brief walk and visit with Beverly, we decided that we would love for her to be a member of the family. We took our completed adoption papers to the table where we met Linda. We were a bit nervous when we talked with Linda, since we were anxiously hoping that we would be accepted as a match for Beverly. We talked about our home, told her a little about ourselves and even showed her pictures of our home. I thought bringing pictures of our home and the neighborhood where we would walk her, with lush greenbelts would help show Pet Match what it would be like for Beverly to live with us. The next morning, we received a call from Pet Match confirming that our family was matched with Beverly and that they would like to come with Beverly to visit our home. The next day, Linda brought Beverly to our home along with a big bag of toys and treats. Together we watched as Beverly played in our home and became comfortable in her new surroundings. Linda is very compassionate about their dogs and before we knew it, hours had gone by. She gave us lots of good advice on how to care for Beverly and showed us which food products were the best and which ones were not recommended. Linda talked to us about Beverly's feeding schedule and showed us all of the products, treats and coupons in the goodie bag. We enjoyed Linda's visit and appreciated all the advice that she provided about Beverly. She is an exceptional member of the Pet Match team and really goes the extra length to successfully adopt a pet. Beverly has been a wonderful addition to our family and has brought us much love and happiness. We couldn't be more pleased!

We looked on petfinder.com for a new puppy and we see a litter of six havanese mix puppies that are as adorable as can be. I submit an application and am told via email that we cannot see them unless we show up at a public viewing the following Sunday at the Petco in Newport Beach. It was Father's Day so we had to change our plans around to make it in time. They were showing them from noon to 3pm and we showed up at 2:30. The place was a mad-house. Totally mobbed with people from all over So Cal waiting around to get their 5 minutes in the play pen with the gorgeous puppies. There were literally over 100 people there during our stay. Our turn came and, after being handled all day, the puppies were all exhausted and taking naps. Still cute but it was way too difficult to request any one in particular. We needed to submit the names of our requested puppy(s) on the application, and then wait for a call. We figured there was no way we would "make the cut" but I did get a call on the following Tuesday. We were told that, based on our application (we listed that we had a kitten at home) we would best be matched with one named "Agate". We would need to agree to that one in particular but that was not one that we asked for. Based on Agate's personality, he would most likely have the best chance in a home with a kitten. We were thrilled to get any of the six and certainly welcomed their recommendation. They were going to stop by and do a home inspection later in the week. We did the recommended shopping for the right food, toys, playpen, etc. and awaited our meeting. We knew from experience that they wanted no dog door, locks on all of the side gates, a good perimeter fence, a nice yard with grass and someone home most of the day. Not great to lock up a puppy all day while mom and dad are working. Hence some of the bad reviews. Hey, I get it. When the puppies are cute and close to pure bread, these places can afford to be picky. Anyone can go to a shelter and pick up a chihuahua or pit bull and will cost next to nothing. A cute, almost pure bread, puppy will require different rules and a higher adoption fee. This is not a for-profit enterprise but they do charge more where they can and use the extra funds to help defray costs of running their program. What they do here is amazing. For example, we were ready to adopt Agate right away but we could not bring him home for two more weeks while he was battling an ear infection. The foster family, who was housing and raising all six puppies, was making sure he was strong and healthy before placement, and not looking to turn a quick buck. Our adoption fee was $625 (I think) which was a lot more than a dog from a pound and a lot less than a pure bread puppy from a breeder. Agate, now called Oliver, is a lovable healthy adorable little guy and were are lucky to have him. The folks here are all amazing, caring volunteers and they run a wonderful service.
